Chapter 9 - The Mirror of Tatva

🔥🌊 Scene: The Two Temples. One Reflection.

It was the night of the twin moon — a rare celestial alignment known only to the priestesses of the Tatva Temples.

In two separate kingdoms, far from each other…

two sisters stood in front of two ancient mirrors — never knowing the other existed.

Devsena, sword at her side, flame mark glowing.

Avantika, soaked in moonlight, humming softly, water swirling around her bare feet.

Each mirror shimmered — at first, just a blur.

But then…

a face appeared.

Not their own.

But familiar.

"Who…" Devsena stepped back.

"That's not me," Avantika whispered.

They stared into the mirror.

Their expressions matched. Their confusion. Their breath.

Then… at the same time,

both reached out toward the glass.

Their fingertips glowed — fire and water pulsing.

And for one heartbeat, the glass vanished.

They stood face to face.

đź’« The Mirror World: A Vision Shared

The world around them faded.

And suddenly — they weren't in their own temples anymore.

They were together, inside a swirling, silent void of blue flame and golden mist.

"Who are you?" Devsena asked, her voice echoing.

Avantika trembled.

"I don't know. But… I feel like I've missed you forever."

Their hands touched.

A shockwave of memories, scattered images, cries, lullabies…

Vrinda's voice.

Samridhi's screams.

A boat… a storm…

And then — the image of a cradle splitting apart in water.

Both girls gasped and stepped back.

🌀 The Voice of Tatva

From the mist, an ancient voice spoke — low, old, and wise.

"Two daughters of the same soul…

Divided by time, tested by fate.

The flame must temper the wave.

The wave must cool the flame.

Or all of Tatva will turn… to ash."

The vision faded.

đź’” Aftermath

Devsena collapsed in her temple.

Avantika fell to her knees in the lagoon.

Both woke up with the same words burned into their minds:

"She looked like me.

She was me."

And far away, in a dark chamber lined with crystal…

The hooded enemy whispered,

"They've found each other.

Time to strike… before they find the truth."
