"Arona, show me the schedule invitations we've received."
Inside the Shittim Box, he browsed through dozens of emails from various academies, selecting suitable work opportunities.
The first email was from the Gehenna Disciplinary Committee.
Formally written and sincere in tone, it invited him to offer guidance. It seemed reliable and was added to the shortlist.
Next came an email from Gehenna's Pandemonium Society.
This one was… very different.
[Kekeke! Schale's sensei! I find you interesting! Let's conquer Kivotos together! Let's start by defeating that annoying Disciplinary Chairwoman! Heehee, looking forward to our victorious meeting! —Chairman Makoto Hanuma]
…Huh?
"Arona, filter out all emails from Gehenna."
He kept going. The next message was from the Red Winter Federal Academy.
Apparently, they wanted his help with yet another coup attempt against President Cherino.
What did they mean by "another"? And "this week"?
"Reject Red Winter too."
"Hyakkiyako Alliance Academy… That location's too remote, and they don't even have a student council. I'll need to research it more. For now, send a rejection."
*What's Valkyrie doing here? Oh—it's approval for Kirino joining Schale. If only they were this efficient in normal police work. Arona, approve Kirino's application when she sends it."
After filtering through them all, only four remained.
Two from Trinity General School, and two from Millennium Science School.
Aside from official student council invitations, there were also messages from smaller clubs:
Millennium's Engineering Department invited him to observe a test of their latest machinery.
Trinity's After-School Sweets Club invited him to join in sampling new treats.
As a new teacher, these seemed perfect. He decided to accept all of them.
But where to go first—Trinity or Millennium?
Thinking of Yuuka's smile, he made up his mind.
"Arona, reply to the Trinity Tea Party and After-School Sweets Club."
He did miss Yuuka and wanted to see her again.
But since Yuuka had already joined Schale—and was the only one among the Big Three academies to do so—he couldn't risk being seen as "pro-Millennium." So, his first official work outing couldn't be to Millennium.
With the schedule finalized, he stayed in the Shittim Chest a little longer to chat with Arona.
He made an important announcement: from now on, no matter what, he would always keep her close.
At first, Arona was thrilled. But once she understood the full implications, her smile turned to shock and then outrage.
Before she could protest, he cut the connection.
Back in the real world, he resumed paperwork while pondering his new Authority: [Infinite Martial Training].
He had inherited a wealth of knowledge related to SRT's close combat techniques—both unarmed and armed.
Of those, techniques that involved tanking bullets for a counterattack were now only emergency options, due to the Shittim Chest's limited energy.
But methods for subduing unarmed enemies quickly, or disarming opponents at close range—those were incredibly useful.
He now had one more way to protect himself.
He thought: as his Authorities increased, he would eventually gain enough power to feel truly secure.
And so, a new day arrived.
Under Kirino's protection, he boarded a train headed for Trinity General School.
