"Brother Alex." Lucy voice was little more than a whisper, the breath seem to left a fog on the glass by the cold night as she spoke. "What… what are those?"
She pointed with a finger towards the light-illuminated towers that reached the night sky, their surfaces shining with a myriad of lights which seemed to change in a pattern beyond her understanding.
Alex stepped over to stand next to her at the floor to ceiling window, looking out over the sprawling city night landscape of the Mumbai.
"Those are buildings, Lucy," he explained gently. "Structures where people live and work in this type of high-class society, you can think of it as a capital city of the kingdom of your world. Some of them house hundreds of families at once, stacked one above the other in what we call apartments."
