The bomb threat at the company had created complete chaos. After taking a three week break to recover from everything that had happened, I decided it was time to return to work. I was now fully focused on managing my father's company while completely stepping away from my mother's business, which I'd handed over to Sara. Matt had secured a position at the hospital, and Mason was helping Sara manage the company. He was also overseeing the sunflower plantation and the family hacienda that had been left to us.
It wasn't that I wanted to cut ties with my mother's side of the family. I simply believed Sara and my cousins deserved the Foster family wealth more than I did. Besides, I already had my father's company and assets, which was more than enough for me.
