Phoebe's POV
I was watching Snow, sleeping peacefully on her bed. She had cried an hour ago, calling for her mommy, but I couldn't do anything. I wanted to do something, but I had promised Kyra. I trusted her to resolve this on her own. I knew her. She was kind, but she wouldn't appreciate it if I intervened, even if I had a reason.
"Don't you think you should tell your brother about Miss Kyra?"
I turned to Luke, who was sitting on the couch as I was about to leave. As much as I wanted to stay, I couldn't. My family would look for me. They might discover Snow, and I wanted Kyra to come back and tell us about Snow herself.
"I promised Kyra, and I trust that she can end this mess her way."
"Does it matter if it takes her a long time before she comes back?"
I looked him in the eyes. "You're loyal to Kyra, right? Why don't you tell my brother yourself?"
