"Kaiser's reached that level already?"
Sage stood outside the Aries Temple, sensing the Cosmo that had begun to settle, his eyes wide with astonishment.
Gategard's strength wasn't weak.
He was, after all, a Gold Saint who had mastered the Seventh Sense.
And he was a few years older than Kaiser.
Yet he fell so quickly.
This far surpassed Sage's expectations.
Kaiser's talent was undeniable.
When Itia brought Kaiser back, he declared him the successor to the Libra Gold Cloth.
Kaiser didn't disappoint. At just thirteen, he awakened the Seventh Sense and inherited the Libra Gold Cloth.
In the years that followed, due to ideological differences with Itia, Kaiser rarely visited the Pope's Hall.
Naturally, he seldom left the Libra Temple.
So even the other Gold Saints knew little of his true strength.
Sage and Hakurei had both acknowledged Kaiser's power in their discussions.
But today's battle shattered Sage's understanding.
Kaiser wasn't just strong.
He stood at the pinnacle of all Gold Saints.
"The only ones who could reliably defeat Kaiser now are probably Lord Itia and Lord Krest." Sage thought to himself.
With the battle over, he didn't linger.
He headed toward the mortal world.
Athena had to return to the Sanctuary as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, in the now-quiet Libra Temple, Kaiser sat cross-legged.
His consciousness delved into the system.
"You're certain Chronos won't notice, right?" Kaiser asked.
Chronos, the creator god of the Saint Seiya world, the sole true deity of the infinite multiverse.
In Saint Seiya Omega, he had descended in a diminished form.
His power was terrifyingly immense. If he hadn't chosen to hold back, even those who had mastered the Omega Cosmo would have perished.
"Don't worry. He won't."
The Heroic Spirit System responded.
Kaiser's consciousness entered a starry expanse.
"This is the River of Worlds within the Hall of Heroic Spirits."
"Each twinkling star represents a world."
"When you feel a summons, you can manifest as a Heroic Spirit in that world using your spiritual body."
"Resolve the issue, and you'll receive the World's Will's gift of luck."
"No matter how long your spiritual body remains in another world, you'll return to your body at the exact moment you left."
"There's no time discrepancy."
"So you don't need to worry about Chronos detecting you."
"You can also anchor three worlds, allowing you to manifest in them even without a Heroic Spirit mission."
Kaiser listened thoughtfully.
This sounded like a path to godhood through faith.
But the benefits were clearly greater for him.
In the Saint Seiya world, there was no path for humans to ascend to divinity.
Now, a road to godhood lay before him. He had no choice but to take it.
"Hm?"
A faint, almost imperceptible summons interrupted Kaiser's thoughts.
"So soon?"
Kaiser was surprised.
He closed his eyes, relaxing his body.
His current form was a spiritual body.
Kaiser didn't resist the mysterious pull.
His body soon vanished from the River of Worlds.
A beam of light descended.
Kaiser's form materialized.
"Interesting."
"Truly interesting."
"To think I'd end up in this world…"
Kaiser hadn't expected to arrive in a movie world.
One he'd seen in a previous life.
A film called Pacific Rim.
"The Dangerous Wanderer mission has already failed."
"It seems I've arrived right at a key plot point."
Kaiser glanced at the news nearby. The newspaper on the wall looked aged.
It reported the failure of the Dangerous Wanderer mission and its severe damage.
In Pacific Rim, the Kaiju seemed formidable.
But their size and weight were disproportionate.
They weren't all that powerful.
With his strength as a Gold Saint, completing this mission would be child's play.
"But there's a restriction."
Kaiser examined the red pattern on his hand.
A Command Spell.
Its sole purpose was to limit his power.
Without the gods' barrier suppressing him, Kaiser, as a Gold Saint, was akin to a god walking the earth.
Far too powerful.
A small life-bearing planet like Earth was little more than a toy in his hands.
The Gemini Saint's ultimate technique, Galaxian Explosion, held the power of every star in the galaxy detonating at once.
Moving at light speed, even a casual strike could tear a planet apart.
But the restriction wasn't absolute.
According to the Heroic Spirit System, in worlds where the power ceiling far exceeded Kaiser's limits, his strength wouldn't be suppressed.
Even so, his power was capped at this world's maximum.
In other words, the Command Spell only prevented him from destroying the planet, not from wiping its surface clean.
So, whether the Command Spell existed or not made little difference to Kaiser.
"But can such a weak world give me what I need?"
Kaiser mused silently.
He said nothing more.
"Who are you?"
Raleigh Becket, holding a piece of bread, stared dumbfounded at the strikingly handsome man before him.
The man had descended from a beam of light.
No matter how you looked at it, he didn't seem human.
Though he appeared no different from one.
"Just a Heroic Spirit walking the world." Kaiser said.
"I sensed your intense resolve."
"As a response, I've descended into this world."
Kaiser looked at Raleigh Becket calmly.
"Heroic Spirit?"
"You mean, like the Heroic Spirits from myths and legends?"
Raleigh's breathing quickened.
Normally, he'd never believe such an absurd claim.
But Kaiser's entrance was too dramatic to refute.
If he truly was a Heroic Spirit, did that mean gods were real too?
"Something like that."
"Your world doesn't seem to be doing too well."
"I can smell the scent of doom."
Kaiser glanced around.
The area was nearly deserted, but it was clearly a construction site.
Likely the Wall of Life from the original story.
The wall that a Kaiju smashed through with ease.
It was useless, a waste of resources and labor.
Its only benefit was burning off people's energy and providing jobs, keeping the world's order from collapsing entirely.
"Doom, huh? That's not far off." Raleigh said.
"Strictly speaking, we're living through an apocalypse."
"…"
"Since you're a Heroic Spirit, can you help us fix this?"
Raleigh recounted the situation.
Kaiser's appearance had reignited a spark of hope in him.
"I can."
"I descended because of you."
"Naturally, I can help solve your problem."
"But our existence is equal. You carry a destiny."
"When this is over, I'll take it."
"It won't affect you at all."
Kaiser said to Raleigh.
"No problem!"
Raleigh agreed readily.
