"I don't know if I'm amazed or not, but you are quite ignorant, aren't you?"
Lola's brows crinkled as her eyes fell on Scarlet. Her lips curved downward instantly as she stared at the woman leisurely enjoying a cup of hot tea.
Scarlet slowly met her gaze and cocked her head to the side. "I said what I said."
"Hah." A light scoff escaped Lola, eyes narrowing as she turned to fully face the woman. "And?"
But Scarlet simply shrugged and took another sip.
Goodness, Lola thought, weighing whether to entertain this poison so late at night. She decided not to and was about to continue walking when Scarlet spoke again.
"Was it lack of pride… or pure ignorance?" Scarlet rose to her feet, holding her cup and saucer with elegance before side-eyeing Lola. Her lips curved ambiguously. "Either way, it's pathetic that you're causing disharmony… and you don't even know it."
She paused and huffed, eyes scanning Lola up and down condescendingly.
