This interlude was a small experimental attempt. Its role is similar to a sidestory in a game — not tightly connected to the main chapters.
In this segment, I've mainly explained some of Levi's interpersonal relationships, along with the situation regarding "Theresia", which hadn't been clearly addressed before, and the reason behind Levi's "berserk" state in Chernobog.
As for Levi's previous ability of "excessive growth," it essentially originates from the Frenzy Virus of Gore Magala (Shagaru Magala) in a certain sense. However, when it comes to the power of "Gore Magala," I'm considering not using its abilities entirely as-is, but rather incorporating design elements inspired by the Blacklight Virus (from Prototype).
Regarding Theresia, the current state is definitely not the end of her storyline. Her arc will be a long-term development, so please stay tuned.
As for Eyjafjalla's storyline, it will receive a separate interlude after the Lungmen arc, written independently from the main plot.
Regarding Misha, I promise she will make it to Rhodes Island, so don't worry — she won't be killed off just because she doesn't have a romantic relationship with the protagonist.
Lastly, Levi's new powers are currently being prepared, so please look forward to that as well.
