"I see, I see," Tsunade said upon hearing my plan for boosting the country's economy and generating substantial revenue in the process. I should mention that I omitted some details, like world conquest, but the essential points are there.
"We'll soon begin the deforestation phase for the future greenhouse construction. Fortunately, it's not far from the capital, so the journey shouldn't take long," I explained, outlining the next steps.
Right now, we're spending a lot to reap a lot in the future, so we'll need a lot of money. I think I'll raise the rent for the villagers and increase the revenue from wheat and sugar sales; it will only be a small percentage, as I don't want them to go to the competition due to the massive price hikes.
"So, what do you need me to do?" the Sannin asked.
"So, what do you need me to do?" "Go with Hitori to the head of the construction company to see the land and draw up the construction plans; my secretary will handle that. You'll go alone to put pressure on them and protect them." I explained what she had to do.
"Sure, no problem," she exclaimed, throwing herself onto the sofa to take another sip of sake.
I watched her, not fully grasping the weight of what she was doing, but I didn't really trust her; in fact, I don't trust anyone enough to tell them my plans. The only one I tell anything to is Danzo, only because he used his men, who will be mine in the future.
Right now, I have to think about the security of the construction site, and I can't go to the Land of Lightning to look for the Chinoiken clan for no reason, so temporarily I'll have to take on a mission somewhere between C and B rank to protect the place and its workers.
I also have that land I stole from those thugs; maybe I'll open a shop selling something that could be extremely profitable and sell a lot.
(Note: Ideas, ladies and gentlemen, ideas.)
"Let Hitori do her motherly thing for a few days, and then you can leave; in the meantime, try not to get in the way," I said as I left the room.
"Yeah, sure, whatever you say," she replied without much interest, waving goodbye.
...
The next day, I arrived late to the battlefield, entirely intentionally, only to find Minato still studying the Flying Thunder God Technique, while Kosuke was practicing his shurikenjutsu.
I approached Minato to see where he was on the scroll, only to notice several notes he'd written about the technique scattered around him.
"I think you'd be better off writing all this down in a book than having notes strewn everywhere," I told him. Minato jumped in surprise; he was so engrossed in his work that he hadn't noticed me behind him.
I realized that Kosuke continued as if nothing had happened, despite my presence being made known, which meant two things: he'd already seen me, or he didn't care. And I think it's more the former than the latter, especially seeing that he had his Sharingan activated while practicing.
"And where's the perverted sage?" I asked Kosuke.
"He's not here. He said he had something to do today, so he won't be training. But I'm definitely taking a B-rank mission tomorrow," he told me, still practicing with his kunai.
"I see," I said, meditating in the same spot. I glanced between Minato and Kosuke for a while before going over to Kosuke. "Hey, let me tell you something," I said suggestively.
This made him stop and stare at me intently in his Uchiha form.
"What's up?" he asked.
"While I was practicing the Fire Style transformation, I came up with a new technique. Want to hear it?" This drew the Uchiha's full attention to me.
After reviewing the theory behind the technique and confirming its feasibility, we started practicing separately from Minato.
Shortly after, we discovered why Jiraiya wasn't there; it turned out he'd gone to spy on Tsunade at the hot springs. In normal terms, you could say he was just camped out.
In the end, Tsunade, along with other women, including kunoichi, gave him a beating.
I had to go and tend to his wounds and heal him, so his day off was extended by another day.
...
I watched Makoto and Daiki sparring. Their progress had been quite good, considering they hadn't received basic ninja training. But the circumstances of their birth and what they had to endure to survive more than made up for it.
"Stop," I told them. They both stopped as if time itself had frozen and, like soldiers, stood at attention before me. "I see you've made great progress. Your chakra control is good, and your wall-walking is good; now we'll begin the academy's basic training, including the three basic jutsu. " With that, I tossed an object to each of them.
Makoto grabbed a 90-centimeter-long box, and Daiki took a box about the size of a shoebox.
Daiki opened his box to find chakra-conductive metal knuckle dusters; they had spikes on each of the four fingers, one on each hand. While Makoto opened his mouth to reveal a katana, it also channeled chakra, its blade measuring 70 centimeters in length.
When Makoto was younger, he used to fight his thugs with a broken wooden katana, so he has an affinity for kenjutsu, while Daiki prefers hand-to-hand combat, and a weapon will make it easier for him to fight his enemies.
I had the katana at the residence, and currently, no one else practices kenjutsu besides me, and I already have two swords; I don't need any more. I ordered Daiki's knuckle dusters from a blacksmith; they were a bit expensive, but not as much as a sword for some reason.
"This will increase his effectiveness in combat," I exclaimed.
"This," Makoto said, unsure what to say.
"I see it was all worth it," Daiki said, now holding the knuckle dusters.
"I'm glad you like it; now you'll have to spend 14 days alone in the Forest of Death and survive. Don't worry, the wolf and its family will be protected by 2, 3, 4, and 5." I gave the order.
At that moment, the tools I'd mentioned appeared behind me, proving they were going to do as I said.
"It couldn't be as good as I thought," Makoto said, already disheartened.
...
I walked through the sewers, or as I call them, the corridors at the base of the Root.
"My name is Uncle Danzo," I said in the sweetest voice I could muster, only to see Danzo standing next to Orochimaru, the pedophile. "Or there's also Uncle Snake."
"It's been a while, little Miyu. I see you've grown, and along with that, your abilities," the fart commented.
If this guy was here, it only means one thing.
"I summoned you here to begin experiments to recreate Wood Release on a massive scale," the mummy said.
He may say that, but I know perfectly well that he only wants to possess Wood Release to gain power and influence so he can take the position from the Monkey.
"Then you should start by using Miyu's body as a foundation for the future of science and the Leaf Village," Orochimaru said.
"Hahaha, what a good joke," I commented, climbing onto a chair and grabbing him roughly, something he sensed from his change in expression. "But you know what else is fun? Eating snake with butter; they say it's really tasty, and I feel like eating some right now."
With that, I raised my chakra levels to higher levels than the Sannin, something he noticed, but he just took a step to the side.
"We both have a good sense of humor," the pedophile added, his voice a little nervous, since he hadn't expected this level of pressure from me.
Jiraiya's training has paid off handsomely.
"Calm down, both of you. I didn't call you here to fight each other," DSanzo said firmly.
"Kukuku, understood," Orochimaru said.
"Kukukakirikoro, I understood too," I said. When I tried to imitate Sanín's voice, he stared at me, speechless; one thing was clear: I was making fun of him.
"So, what should we do?" Orochimaru asked, ignoring me.
"The idea is to be able to replicate or transfer a kekkei genkai from a possessor to someone who doesn't have it. Miyu showed me that the people with the greatest potential to obtain the Wood Release couldn't handle Hashirama's cells in the first experiments we conducted, so the idea is to see if it can be replicated from one ninja to another; once we prove it can be done, we'll figure out how to do it, discover the most effective method, and from there begin experimenting with Mokuton," Danzo announced.
All my talking and brainwashing worked incredibly well. It's not useful to me if they manage to replicate the Wood Release, since I'm a natural user, but being able to replicate any kekkei genkai, like Ice Release or Blaze Release, is what interests me.
"For these experiments, we need many live specimens; I recommend using those in prisons and rogue ninjas. Let's try not to use villagers; at least don't use civilians from the Land of Fire," I said, making it clear what limits I, at least, would set in all of this.
"I don't care who you use, as long as I get results," he said, handing me a scroll.
"Understood, kukukuku," said Uncle Snake.
I looked at the scroll, and it was a jutsu I had requested; I just chuckled to myself when I saw it.
"Speaking of which, your team said they were going on a mission tomorrow," the mummy said, looking at me.
...
"I need you to do an A-rank mission; even though you're still Chunin, you have the skills and potential to be a Jonin-rank ninja," the monkey said, looking at us seriously. "This will be a test to see if you're ready to be a Jonin-rank ninja."
The four of us stared at each other until finally the three of us were looking directly at Jiraiya. He just smiled and gestured that everything was alright.
"No problem, sensei, my team and I can handle any mission, even an S-rank one." I felt like saying that meant something bad would happen with the mission.
And nothing really should happen, since I know what this mission is about; it was recommended by Danzo himself.
It's about capturing a rogue Jonin from the village who stole some scrolls and formed a group with some Chunin and Genin. He currently has a bounty of 10 million ryo, according to Danzo.
This is an A-rank mission, since it requires a jonin team to complete, but, as the Hokage said, our level isn't much different.
Minato is halfway to mastering the Flying Thunder God Technique, and while that makes him incredibly strong, it doesn't make him a potential Kage; before that, he was already strong and capable enough as a jonin, something I've witnessed firsthand.
There's also Kosuke, an Uchiha who has awakened the third tomoe of the Sharingan, along with a high level of proficiency in Fire Release, Shurikenjutsu, and Taijutsu.
And then there's me; I don't think I need to say what I'm capable of, right?
Finally, there's Jiraiya, who at this point is already a Sannin and a sage, if I'm not mistaken, since he calls himself that from time to time. When he trained Sage Mode, I have no idea, but since it's something incomplete, I feel it's normal that he's dedicated a lot of time to it.
With the mission assigned, we left the Hokage Tower.
"We'll meet at the village entrance in half an hour," Jiraiya ordered, to which we all nodded and disappeared.
This mission shouldn't be too difficult, so everything should go well.
I think so.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to clarify that Miyu isn't stronger than Orochimaru, but the Sannin has researched the First Hokage and knows about his abilities; furthermore, he fears the consequences of fighting her more than the fight itself; hence, his nervousness. How much chaos and destruction will result from the wood element techniques?
That said, Miyu may very well have more chakra than Orochimaru right now.
