The night was supposed to be smooth and lively, maybe with a little Ashwood drama and gossip.
Loud music, white wine, cheap beer, and reckless laughter.
But it turned out in the most unexpected way. Although I sensed this coming from the moment Tracy and her clique walked in.

From the moment Ari walked into that party, something inside me shifted. It always did when she was around.
She looked gorgeous, and I just wanted her out of the champagne dress.
She walked into the field with that aura that drew me to her, and her laughter and smiles only made me want to come closer.
Damon noticed too. So did Tristan. We always did.
"That's Ari," Tristan pointed out.
"She looks gorgeous," Damon voiced out.
"Stop looking at her that way," I shunned them, jealousy brewing inside me.
"I'm heading towards her, now," Tristan said, stepping forward.
