Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Hello everyone, so this is just an impulse write up so I don't really know how much y'all will like it or hate it. Might drop later on or just continue updating it like my other stories so who knows… oh well it'll be depending on my mood😏.

The world was fading fast, the edges of reality blurring as pain lanced through his body. Jason's mind raced, trying to comprehend the sheer brutality of what had just happened. He had only looked up for a second, distracted by the noise above, when the crane had swung out of control. In that split second, his world was torn apart, quite literally.

He barely registered the screams around him, the shouts of panic as people rushed over. All Jason could focus on was the burning pain in his abdomen, his lower half severed from his body. 'This can't be happening…' he thought, his vision tunneling as blood pooled beneath him.

The world turned dark, and the last thing he heard was the blaring of sirens. Then, nothing.

---

When Jason opened his eyes again, he was surrounded by a void. It wasn't just dark it was absolute nothingness, a blackness so profound it felt like it could swallow him whole.

"Where the fuck am I?" he muttered, his voice echoing in the emptiness. The question hung in the air, unanswered. His mind was in a fog, trying to piece together the last moments of his life. Then it hit him like a freight train: the crane, the pain, the sickening sight of his body being torn in half.

He almost retched at the memory but found that he couldn't. There was no bile rising in his throat, no heaving of his chest. 'Am I… dead?' he thought, the realization sinking in. 'Is this what the afterlife is supposed to be like? Just… nothing?'

As the shock began to settle, Jason found his thoughts drifting back to the life he had left behind. 'Of all the things I wanted to do…'

He hadn't made up with his dad. That old, stubborn man who Jason had always clashed with. They hadn't spoken in years, both too proud to reach out first. 'What a stupid way to leave things,' he thought bitterly. And his mom… She had always been proud of him, but he knew deep down she had hoped for more. Jason had never given her the life she deserved, never fulfilled the potential she saw in him. 'What kind of son makes his parents cry over his death?' The thought of his mother's grief twisted his heart, but there was nothing he could do now.

As he brooded over his regrets, a voice suddenly cut through the silence.

"Well, well, well. You know, most souls are only concerned about themselves and where they're going to end up, but you, motherfucker, are different."

Jason jerked his head up, his heart or whatever passed for it now skipping a beat. Standing before him, seemingly out of nowhere, was a man who looked suspiciously like Nick Fury. The eye patch, the leather jacket, the stern expression everything was spot on.

"Fury?" Jason asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

The man chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound. "Okay, let's go with that."

Jason blinked, confusion muddling his thoughts. 'No, he can't be Fury,' he reasoned. 'This can't be real.'

"Who… What are you, exactly?" he asked, his voice wary.

"Well, according to you mortals, I'm a ROB," the man said, his lips curving into a smirk.

Jason blinked again, and suddenly, he found himself sitting in front of Fury or whoever this was in an oddly comfortable chair. "Shit," he breathed out, glancing around. This was surreal, too much for his already overloaded mind.

"Well, you're handling this well," the being said, leaning back casually.

"Oh, believe me, I'm panicking inwardly," Jason replied, forcing a smirk. "It might offend you if I showed it openly."

Fury or the ROB nodded, seemingly amused. "You're a smart one. But let's get down to business. I ain't got all day, so let's make this quick. I'm here to reincarnate you, blah, blah, blah, with only one wish, though. So, what'll it be?"

Jason's mind raced. This was it one wish. Something that could determine his entire future in a new life. He looked up, a question burning in his mind. "Will I have my memories?"

"Yes."

"Can I choose where I'll go?"

A wheel appeared beside them, massive and covered in countless names of worlds Naruto, Bleach, DC, Marvel, Hunter x Hunter, DxD, Against the Gods, Realm of Myth and Legends, World Apocalypse Online, and so many more.

"No," the being said with a grin. "This will decide for you, boy. Now, what's your wish? I don't have all day."

"Will they be ok?" He asked about his parents and the ROB took a minute and then said " They will be ok, your mother will be blessed with another child".

"So stop worrying and make your damn mind boy".

Jason bit his lip, thoughts swirling. This was his chance, one shot to get something truly powerful. After a long moment, he spoke, determination in his voice. "I want all the powers of Ryomen Sukuna, with his curse energy multiplied by five, if possible."

The ROB scoffed, shaking his head. "Nice try, boy, but you won't be getting Megumi's powers as well. That's borrowed power. But I will make sure his cursed energy is as much as you want it to be, and just as dense."

Jason hesitated for a moment, then decided to push his luck. "Well, seeing as he's a fallen… can you please, I don't know, throw in Mahoraga's wheel of adaptation?"

His tone was almost pleading, and the ROB stared at him for a long while before sighing. "Fine. I'll add the phenomenon-adapting wheel to your body. Now spin the motherfucking Wheel of Worlds, son. I don't have all day."

Relief and excitement surged through Jason. He had gotten what he wanted. He moved over to the massive wheel, which towered above him like a skyscraper. "Uh… how do I spin this fucking thing? It's too big."

The ROB facepalmed, shaking his head. "Press that button," he said, and a large button materialized in front of Jason.

"Ohhh," Jason muttered, then pressed the button. The wheel began to spin, the names blurring together as it whirled around. His heart pounded as it began to slow, first landing on Bleach, then Marvel, before finally coming to a stop on Against the Gods.

Jason stared at the name, realization dawning on him. This was his new world. This was where his new life would begin and the bad news was he couldn't really remember much of it.
