"Yo, Fugaku-san, looks like you're healing up well."
Enemies really do tend to run into each other. Kanzou encountered Fugaku upon returning to the Uchiha compound.
At Kanzou's mocking words, Fugaku's wound throbbed dully.
Of course, he wasn't truly healed. Even with treatment from the medical team, it was impossible to recover so quickly
Kanzou's blade had nearly split him open.
"Kanzou, do you even realise what you've done?" Fugaku growled, clenching his jaw through the pain.
"Your actions have offended nearly every clan in Konoha! Do you understand the chaos you've brought upon the Uchiha?"
Kanzou's eyes narrowed. 'So this wasn't a coincidence,' he thought. Fugaku hadn't just bumped into him; he'd been waiting.
And it wasn't just Fugaku. Several other Uchiha clansmen stood nearby, watching closely.
"Offended them?" Kanzou scoffed. "Since when has the Uchiha clan ever been afraid of offending others?" Kanzou sneered.
"Our Uchiha clan should be standing above all others, shouldn't it? Even if I offend every clan in Konoha, who would dare point fingers at us?"
"Well said!"
"Kanzou-sama is right! Since when has the Uchiha clan feared offending others?"
That was the Uchiha nature: prideful, arrogant, and unyielding. What outsiders saw as sheer arrogance, the Uchiha saw as righteous confidence.
To others, Kanzou's words might have sounded reckless, but to the Uchiha, they made perfect sense. If they weren't afraid of the Hokage, why should they fear offending other clans?
It was exactly this attitude that had left the Uchiha clan isolated in Konoha, without allies or friends.
Fugaku's expression darkened. 'Are these people all brainless?'
He had come here, despite his injuries, and gathered the clan members on purpose to undermine Kanzou's influence, hoping they would understand the foolishness of Kanzou's actions. If he could weaken Kanzou's popularity and reduce his support, then Kanzou's path to becoming clan head would be much harder.
It was a pity that, even as a member of the Uchiha clan, Fugaku still didn't understand how his own people thought.
The truth was, Kanzou understood the Uchiha better than Fugaku ever could.
Many of the clansmen who had originally supported Fugaku now found themselves agreeing with Kanzou's words.
With a cold snort, Fugaku turned and left in silence.
Kanzou looked disdainfully at Fugaku, who walked away with his plan having failed.
"Everyone," Kanzou declared, "I will lead the Uchiha clan to trample every clan in Konoha beneath our feet, and show the entire ninja world that the Uchiha are the strongest of all!"
His bold words stirred the hearts of the Uchiha, and even those who had remained neutral began to shift their support toward him.
'They really aren't the brightest.' As Kanzou walked away, he sighed inwardly.
'If I really do become clan head, the first thing I'll have to do is reform the Uchiha. No power, but full of arrogance, what a joke.'
'At least they have to be strong enough…'
If every Uchiha possessed the strength of Uchiha Madara, Kanzou wouldn't mind how arrogant they were—but the problem was, they didn't.
Instead of going home, Kanzou headed to the elder's residence.
…
Elder Todayashi's residence
"You… why are you here?"
Mikoto's eyes flickered with unease when she saw him. Her expression was conflicted, she genuinely didn't know how to face Uchiha Kanzou.
(Uchiha Mikoto Image here)
"Of course I'm here because I missed you, Mikoto-san," Kanzou said with an easy smile. "And you, did you miss me?"
Did she?
Absolutely not. She hadn't missed him in the slightest. If anything, she wished she could go the rest of her life without seeing him again.
Kanzou chuckled softly, as if reading none of that.
"Who am I kidding? Of course, you missed me. Isn't that right? Now come here, give me a hug."
He opened his arms and stepped closer, reaching out to pull her into his embrace.
Mikoto trembled as his hands approached. Fear shot through her, and every instinct told her to step back. She hated being touched by him, let alone being hugged, and right at the entrance of the house. Anyone passing by could see them… it would be a scandal.
But before she could actually back away, his next words froze her in place.
"Think about Tadayoshi-sama."
His voice slipped into her ears like a whisper from a devil.
The deaths of the two Elders not long ago were a stark reminder for her.
Although it was accepted that Uchiha Haruto was the murderer, Mikoto understood that the person responsible for their death was Kanzou.
If he dared to kill them, would he really hesitate to deal with her grandfather?
Frozen in fear, Mikoto couldn't move even as Kanzou pulled her into his arms. His grip tightened around her back in a slow, deliberate embrace, making her entire body go rigid.
She trembled, but she couldn't bring herself to resist; she simply stood stiff and unresponsive in his hold.
"As expected… Mikoto-san, your scent, your warmth… it really did call me back," Kanzou murmured with a low chuckle, breathing in the faint fragrance of her shampoo and the subtle warmth of her soft, delicate body.
Mikoto's face flushed, from his closeness, his words, the overwhelming feel of him pressing against her.
She could smell him as well, and it sent an involuntary heat up her neck.
Her ear rested against his chest, and the steady, powerful rhythm of his heartbeat filled her senses.
Hearing it so clearly made her feel something she couldn't even name.
Her own heart pounded rapidly, from fear, embarrassment, and the suffocating tension of the moment.
"S-someone… s-someone might see…" she stuttered, hoping desperately that the thought of being seen would make him let go and step back.
But Kanzou didn't seem to care, and said, "Fufu… even if someone were to see us… let them see us…" and added, "Could it be Mikoto-san… do you dislike being embraced by me?"
Mikoto didn't even know how to answer him. Her feelings twisted painfully inside her. On one hand, she hated this, hated him, the man who had violated her, threatened her, and made her cry. She also understood that she was already promised to another man and had accepted that fate long ago.
But on the other hand… Kanzou was someone she had always secretly admired. Admiration she kept buried deep in her heart, knowing it was never meant for her. Yet now, standing in his embrace, she was forced to confront those conflicting emotions all at once.
Before she could gather her thoughts, Kanzou continued speaking.
"I was originally planning to eliminate Elder Tadayoshi as well," he said calmly. "But then I thought of you… And of the time we spent together in your bedroom, in each other's arms. So I decided to let him live."
He smiled lightly. "Congratulations, Mikoto-san. Your efforts saved your Sofu-sama's life. You should be proud."
'Proud?' Mikoto almost wanted to curse him. How was she supposed to feel proud that being violated by him had been the price for her grandfather's life? There was nothing to be proud of, only bitterness and hate.
Even if she greatly admired him in her heart, she couldn't feel proud of it at all!
Uncaring about her feelings or discomfort, Kanzou kissed her on the cheek and continued, "But you must not forget, whether your Sofu-sama continues to live or die... that still depends on your actions. And unlike last time, I hope this time… you'd fare better and serve me properly. I'll let you know in advance… I also like dedication from the woman I am fucking…"
With that said, he let go of her and walked inside her house, making his way towards her bedroom.
Watching Kanzou disappear inside, Mikoto remained frozen at the entrance… She hesitated for a moment, looked around to make sure no one was watching them, closed the door of the house, and then followed him.
"I'm sorry, Fugaku-san… but I don't have a choice," she murmured.
Though she was engaged to Uchiha Fugaku, the one person who meant the most to her was the grandfather who raised her.
After all, Fugaku was just a fiancé, not yet her husband. Because of the difference in their ages and the traditional beliefs of the Uchiha Clan, she hasn't had much contact with Fugaku outside of special events; therefore, it would be wrong to say whether she has any feelings for him.
If she were truly married to Uchiha Fugaku, she would rather die than betray him.
But… she isn't married yet. She was supposed to marry Fugaku once he officially became the Patriarch. However, since that process has been delayed, their marriage has naturally been postponed as well.
'At this point… I doubt I can even get married to him…'
Shaking it off, she quietly shut the front door and made her way toward the bedroom to be violated by the same man.
…
Mikoto's Bedroom
After Mikoto finished preparing the Futon, just like last time, she was about to lie down when Kanzou placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. "We're doing things a bit differently this time," he said.
"D… differently?" Mikoto asked, her expression stiffening with nervousness.
Kanzou gave a slight nod. "Last time was your first time. You were a virgin, so I handled nearly everything. But now… you've had a taste of it. You're not some clueless girl anymore. So this time, I expect you to properly serve me, Mikoto-san."
Indeed, unlike the last time when she remained underneath him all the time, this time, instead of leaving her as a passive recipient, he wanted to make her a forced participant, someone with no choice but to take active steps rather than simply lying passively on the futon.
With that, he lay down on the Futon, folded his hands behind his head, and left the rest to her.
"Go on," he said lightly. "It's all up to you now."
As for why he wanted her to act on her own… the reason was obvious. He intended to deepen her internal conflict and push her into even greater emotional turmoil.
After all, compared to being a passive recipient, forced participation would leave her thinking, 'I… I can't believe I'm doing something like this…!'
He wants her to have this kind of thought.
"T-this…" Mikoto stood frozen, her body tense and unmoving.
Yes, technically, she wasn't a virgin anymore, but it had only happened once. And even then, Kanzou had taken complete control. She had not even responded to him at that time… not even tried to respond… she was too afraid and helpless.
But now… he expected her to go through with it?
She didn't want to; every part of her resisted, yet she had no real choice. Whatever she felt didn't matter. Not her reluctance, not her fear… nothing.
"T-that… can you… a-at least tell me what to do?" she asked, hoping he would guide her.
There were several reasons behind her request.
First, if he instructed her, if he ordered her, then her actions would no longer feel like her own initiative. It would become compliance rather than choice, allowing her to hand over control and escape the turmoil of feeling responsible for taking the lead herself.
And second… she genuinely didn't know what to do.
It wasn't ignorance; she had some idea of what was expected. But the fear, the pressure, and the overwhelming nervousness made it impossible for her to think clearly.
Hearing her request, Kanzou fell silent for a moment. He understood exactly what was going through her mind… and honestly, he didn't want to guide her. He wanted her to take the initiative on her own.
But after considering it and recognising she was still inexperienced and unlikely to manage much without direction, he finally nodded.
"Fine… I suppose I'll instruct you this time."
A smirk tugged at his lips as he added, "Well then, let's start by getting rid of that blouse. Take it off… and let me see your beautiful tits."
