Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Wang Teng struck by lightning

Chapter 30: Wang Teng struck by lightning

Looking at the adorable things that dropped on the ground, Wang Teng was overjoyed.

Speaking of which, Wang Teng had accumulated quite a few gold coins by now, but it seemed like he didn't have much use for them?

But then again, who would dislike such shiny, adorable things? As a little money-grubber, Wang Teng naturally wanted as many of these adorable things as possible.

After walking a bit further, Wang Teng heard the roar of a bull from a distance.

"Could it be Bull-Headed Soldiers again?"

Although the innocent Wang Teng didn't know the deeper meaning of 'Bull-Headed Soldiers,' he habitually referred to the Bull-Headed Soldiers and Bull-Headed Beasts he had encountered before as Bull-Headed Soldiers.

Soon, Wang Teng saw the monsters appearing ahead.

Two Green Goblins, two Red Goblins, and two Bull-Head Vanguards.

Wang Teng was seeing the Bull-Head Vanguard monster for the first time. It was similar to the Bull-Headed Soldiers he had encountered before, but it didn't carry a large axe; it was bare-handed. Other than that, they were pretty much the same, just with a different skin, turning into grayish-blue bullhide.

Putting everything else aside, if the Bull-Head Vanguard's hide were to be stripped off, it would be enough to make high-quality leather boots, leather belts, leather bags, and other leather products.

Wang Teng believed this would be popular throughout Heaven Dou City! It was a bit of a pity, though, as monsters in a vice copy couldn't be skinned. After a monster was defeated, it would be refreshed by the vice copy and disappear.

These two Bull-Head Vanguards clearly looked like melee monsters. Wang Teng bypassed them for now and aimed his Adjudicator Rifle at the four magic-casting Goblins (monkey version).

"Bang~ Bang~ Bang~" Soul Power Bullets shot out, directly sending two Red Goblins and one Green Goblin on a dirt plane ride.

Just as Wang Teng fired, the remaining three monsters also discovered Wang Teng, the uninvited guest.

The remaining Green Goblin was nothing much, but the two Bull-Head Vanguards were different.

The Bull-Head Vanguards immediately bent down, aiming the two sharp horns on their heads at Wang Teng in the distance, and initiated a charge.

This charge was different from a normal charge; the sprinting speed was very fast, and it seemed to be a skill.

Fortunately, Wang Teng was quite far from the two Bull-Head Vanguards, a distance of one hundred eighty meters.

When the Bull-Head Vanguards had sprinted fifty meters, their speed slowed down. Clearly, their bull brains weren't good enough; they didn't charge when closer.

Of course, perhaps they would be blown up before they even got close?

Two large, two-meter-plus figures charging rapidly truly startled Wang Teng, as the sense of oppression was quite strong. Fortunately, their speed had slowed down now. Although Wang Teng was wearing powerful equipment and was confident he wouldn't be severely injured, he also didn't want to be gored by a horn.

After all, what if he was gored in a vital area? That would cause severe psychological trauma!

Thinking this, Wang Teng's hand speed was not slow. He aimed at the tall Bull-Head Vanguard and pulled the trigger.

"Bang~!"

A Soul Power Bullet hit one of the Bull-Head Vanguard's heads, blossoming into a blood flower.

Although this Bull-Head Vanguard immediately fell to the ground severely wounded, it didn't die on the spot.

Clearly, compared to those Goblins and Cat Demons, the Bull-Head Vanguard's defense was a cut above, which was evident from its physique.

When the remaining Bull-Head Vanguard was about to charge in front of Wang Teng, its head was finally blown off by a Soul Power Bullet.

Subsequently, two more Soul Power Bullets were sent, taking down the remaining severely wounded Bull-Head Vanguard and the Green Goblin who was preparing to flee in the distance.

This time was quite thrilling; he almost got gored by the Bull-Head Vanguard's horns. Fortunately, his Adjudicator Rifle was powerful, striking true with one shot.

And now that he knew the Bull-Head Vanguard had a charging skill, next time he encountered them, the Bull-Head Vanguard would be the priority target.

Along the grass, Wang Teng continued forward.

Soon, thunder rumbled in the distance.

Not long after, Wang Teng discovered the figure of the Lord - Thunderfall Keno in the distance, as well as a large number of Goblins beside him, immediately surprising him.

"Are these Goblins gathered together?"

Beside the Lord - Thunderfall Keno, there were also five regular Goblins, five Goblin Centurions, and five Green Goblins.

And the Lord - Thunderfall Keno was also a Goblin dressed in a rather unique way.

Although its appearance looked similar to a regular Goblin Centurion, Thunderfall Keno's skin was entirely white, and it carried a large scimitar that occasionally emitted flashes of lightning.

Coupled with the name of this Lord - Thunderfall Keno, it was clear that this Lord monster could cast lightning magic.

However, one thing worth Wang Teng's consideration was why the Goblins in the vice copy, whether Lords or regular monsters, only wore a loincloth?

Were they too poor to afford clothes, or was this attire more convenient for holding 'unscathed parties'?

Shaking his head, Wang Teng cast these unhealthy thoughts aside, raised his Adjudicator Rifle, and aimed at Thunderfall Keno, who was the Lord.

"Bang~!"

A Soul Power Bullet hit the bald forehead of the Lord - Thunderfall Keno.

Wang Teng could see a small blood flower blooming from a distance, but fortunately, as a Lord, Thunderfall Keno wasn't so easily instantly killed.

And presumably, its brain was much better than other Goblins; the Lord - Thunderfall Keno immediately discovered Wang Teng's figure from the direction the Soul Power Bullet came from.

Thunderfall Keno let out a strange cry, immediately raised the scimitar in its hand, and waved it at Wang Teng in the distance, while the Goblin minions beside it shouted in an unknown Goblin language and charged towards Wang Teng.

Although Wang Teng didn't know why the Lord - Thunderfall Keno made such a bizarre movement, his hands were not slow, sending several more Soul Power Bullets.

At this moment, Wang Teng's attention was entirely on Thunderfall Keno, and he didn't notice the yellow halo that lit up beneath his feet.

Just as Wang Teng felt that the next Soul Power Bullet would be able to kill the Lord - Thunderfall Keno, he felt a dangerous aura.

Before Wang Teng could react, a magical lightning bolt fell from the sky, striking directly onto Wang Teng's body.

After a "Boom~!" sound, Wang Teng's hair stood on end, forming an afro.

Fortunately, the power of this magical lightning bolt was not very great, and coupled with the equipment Wang Teng was wearing, it didn't cause much damage.

However, this was the first time Wang Teng had ever been struck by lightning in his life, and he immediately felt unwell.

"Damn it, I actually got struck by lightning?!"

Immediately, Wang Teng's face darkened, and paired with his current afro, his current look was truly 'cool'!

Before the other Goblin minions could rush forward, Wang Teng sent the final Soul Power Bullet to the Lord - Thunderfall Keno.

Like the last straw that broke the camel's back, Thunderfall Keno let out a miserable cry, was sent flying by Wang Teng, and then a Lord's treasure chest appeared from its original spot.
