Hachiman: "A suggestion?"
Ardan: "Your plan to lay low is practical, but you'll still need to go out. The media will likely swarm not just the academy but your home too."
Hachiman: "If it happens, it happens."
Ardan: "Yes, but we can prevent it. My suggestion is for you to stay at the Mejiro estate temporarily. No one will find you there, and even if they do, they won't dare act recklessly."

Matriarch: "Let him in."
Butler: "Understood. Hikigaya-sama, please enter."
Hachiman: "…Excuse me."
Matriarch: "Welcome, Trainer Hikigaya. My granddaughters are always in your care."
Hachiman: "No, I'm the one grateful. I'll be imposing for a while."
Matriarch: "Treat this as your home. We'll ensure your comfort."
Hachiman: "Thank you. Can I ask something?"
Matriarch: "Yes, what is it?"
Hachiman: "Why'd you agree so quickly? Even if it's your granddaughter's idea, I figured you'd need time to think it over."
Matriarch: "…Two reasons. First, your character."
Hachiman: "…We've never met, have we?"
Matriarch: "When Ardan comes home, she talks about you with such joy. Other girls mention you too. That alone tells me who you are."

Matriarch: "The second reason… your sweets."
