📖 Chapter 6 – I'm Not Myself Anymore
> "Look at me... This is who I truly am..."
A cyborg – half machine, half man – stood in front of them.
Cold, twitching, and glitching.
"You thought I was dead, E-049? E-496?" he laughed with a distorted voice.
The leopard's eyes widened.
Before he could react, a mechanical hand gripped his throat.
> "How... are you still alive?"
The cyborg tilted his head sideways, like a broken puppet.
> "I've always been waiting. Waiting to see what my children would become."
The leopard gasped.
The grip tightened—
> Snap.
His body was thrown like trash.
"No choice," a voice growled.
From the shadows, a roar tore through the silence.
A figure emerged—its black scales glowing, wings unfurled.
The Black Dragon had awakened.
> "BLOOD… I SMELL BLOOD!!"
Heat began to radiate like hellfire.
The ground cracked, the air boiled.
The cyborg's eyes widened.
> "Tch—"
In a blink, he vanished.

Elsewhere...
> [Absorption in progress...] [System: Healing Power unlocked.] [Lives Remaining: 9] [Awakening Sequence: 97% Complete.]
I opened my eyes slowly.
My body… it wasn't fur anymore.
Small, pale hands.
Ears twitching.
A tail swaying behind me.
> "...I'm… human?"
A voice whispered in the void:
> [Teleporting Host.]
Before I could even move, my body was flung through a white portal.
And then—
I landed hard in front of a bleeding snow leopard.
> "Meow…?"
I looked at his injuries—torn skin, frozen wounds.
Without thinking, I touched him.
A green glow emitted from my fingers.
The healing began.

Far away…
Screams filled the air.
Bodies fell.
Blood painted the streets.
The people ran, but they didn't even know from what.
> "Why… is this happening?"
A man looked up.
He saw a shadow descending—a beast of nightmare.
Wings spread, eyes burning.
> "I... NEED... MEAT!!"
And then—
He was eaten alive.
