Chapter 439: Vegapunk's Proposal
While the seas still churned restlessly from World Economic News Agency's newspaper, Brett was currently leading both Dr. Vegapunks toward the shipyard deep within the Sea Forest.
Naturally couldn't go directly through Fish-Man Island. Brett took both Doctors detour above Fish-Man Island.
Released a massive bubble, then used flame clouds carrying everything—slowly advancing through the sea.
"Hahahaha! This is a marvelous idea, right, Brett!"
Clone Vegapunk laughed heartily. "Using coating to circumvent seawater's restrictions on devil fruit users—letting them also move freely in the deep sea!"
Nobody in the world understood Brett's ability principles better than him. After all, he'd personally made Brett so terrifying.
"Genius conception."
Brett said smiling.
"But honestly—back then we never imagined you'd reach your current level."
Clone Vegapunk added.
"Right."
Main body Vegapunk also smiled. "Because back then little Brett always said he wanted a peaceful life. Physical talent alone isn't enough. To become a true powerhouse—must possess iron-like will."
"Indeed. I never imagined I'd become like this either."
Brett chuckled, shaking his head. "Circumstances are always unpredictable. Who can predict their future?"
"However—occasionally one can create the future they desire."
Clone Vegapunk spoke casually.
"Mm."
Brett nodded.
Like what they were currently doing. What they'd do next.
In a few exchanges, they'd already arrived deep in the Sea Forest. With Brett personally guiding—naturally nobody would intercept them.
That munitions factory wrapped in heavy security now exposed before them.
Also wrapped in a massive bubble—looking down from above clearly showed a half-finished massive ship quietly lying among dense coral forests.
This was a quite enormous, quite unique-looking cold mechanical ship.
"Oh!"
Main body Vegapunk's eyes instantly brightened. "That's Pluton?!!"
"The ultimate weapon condensing the Ancient Kingdom's highest technology!"
Clone Vegapunk also gazed intensely. "Long wanted to personally witness this!"
"Then let's observe up close now."
Brett brought both Doctors descending—penetrating the bubble, lightly touching down on empty ground outside the great ship.
They'd just landed when someone impatiently rushed out from the factory.
"You're Vegapunk—Eh!!"
Originally excited Franky—after seeing Vegapunk's massive head—instantly widened his eyes. Directly reached behind toward his waist pulling out a gun. "Sea beast attack!!"
"Eh! Sea beast?!"
The old man was greatly alarmed. Hurriedly turned looking back.
"Apologies, young man."
Clone Vegapunk somewhat helplessly stepped forward—pressing down Franky's gun. He said. "No need to doubt. We are Vegapunk."
"We?"
Iceburg—a step slower than Franky—looked puzzledly at Clone Vegapunk, then at the main body old man.
"Oh, it's a person!"
Franky also finally saw main body Vegapunk's appearance clearly. Sincerely breathed out. Then— "Eh! Vegapunk is actually a combination?! Never heard of this!"
Brett's mouth twitched.
"Strictly speaking—I'm a clone this guy manufactured."
Clone Vegapunk didn't avoid speaking frankly.
"Hehe, because currently moving is somewhat inconvenient." The old man stuck out his tongue. Honestly—somewhat disgusting.
"A clone??"
Rotund Tom-san also walked over. He was equally amazed. "Remarkable outstanding technology!"
"Hahaha, nothing much."
Vegapunk waved repeatedly. "Just connected him to my brain—sharing my brainpower together."
I see.
Brett also understood. Meaning main body Vegapunk was equivalent to a server. While the clone was the client.
Also equivalent to—the clone was actually a personality Vegapunk split out.
Franky and Iceburg's faces bore blank expressions.
This professional field didn't match. Simply couldn't understand.
"Anyway—"
Clone Vegapunk said urgently. "Can we see Pluton's blueprints?"
Tom-san glanced at Brett. Brett nodded lightly.
"Then no problem."
The forthright Fish-Man shipwright pulled out a stack of papers—handing them to both Doctors.
Both Vegapunks quickly leaned in—opening these blueprints.
Skipped through front portions. They directly sought the parts they most wanted to see.
Then very quickly—
"Oh!! I see!!"
Both Vegapunks made synchronized sounds for the first time—nearly shrieking. "This is their energy technology! Remarkable! Truly too remarkable!!"
"We can change the world!"
The old man directly jumped up bearing his massive head. He excitedly announced to everyone present. "From now on we can change this world!!"
"Good, good, good."
Brett chuckled.
Doctor—you're happy—that's good.
"Thank you very much!"
Clone Vegapunk walked before Tom-san. He gripped Tom's hand—face extremely grave. "Through your efforts—preserved the spark letting this world advance toward a more beautiful era."
"Hahahaha!"
Tom-san only laughed heartily.
"Anyway, Doctor—researching other technologies is fine, but—"
Brett spoke gravely at this moment. "Please definitely help Tom-san and them complete Pluton in the shortest time!"
"Leave it to me!"
Clone Vegapunk turned around grinning. "The legendary evil battleship—isn't participating in such a work's creation too wonderful?"
"However—I feel their design back then was somewhat too outdated. Brett—have you considered improvements?" This Doctor asked smilingly.
"Oh?"
Brett raised an eyebrow. "As you please—as long as it doesn't delay completion time."
If others said this—Brett would only feel they were talking big.
What joke? That's the Ancient Weapon Pluton! You say modify—modify?
But Vegapunk was different.
This man probably truly possessed that degree of technical capability.
"Hahahaha! Then we'll go all out!"
