Chapter 434 - Chapter 433

Chapter 433: Raid on Punk Hazard

Tesoro went to communicate with Morgans. He'd decided to give the World Government a surprise in public opinion.

Of course this world ultimately still depended on strength. Popular sentiment in the general sense didn't have much effect.

But at least—as Tesoro said—could properly disgust the World Government.

Just that was already enough. At least Tesoro was in high spirits when leaving.

As for Vice Admiral Momousagi and her subordinates—for now, throw them in prison. No need to execute them yet. Maybe they'd prove useful later. Brett thought so.

As for now—about time to move. Under current developments, couldn't leave Vegapunk with the World Government any longer.

That guy was simply too dangerous. Who knew what incredible inventions he'd tinker with next?

Brett naturally hadn't forgotten—reaching his current level, Vegapunk's contributions were indelible.

Before being captured at Punk Hazard, his talent could only be called decent.

The megalodon shark Fish-Man bloodline indeed gave him more powerful strength than ordinary Fish-Men. But compared to those true monsters on the seas—still somewhat unreachable.

Only after being captured at Punk Hazard—undergoing bloodline activation research under Vegapunk's hands—did he truly gain talent surpassing everything.

Precisely because of this—all the more wary of Vegapunk.

What if that guy created an even more powerful opponent?

Though at Punk Hazard, had almost confirmed Vegapunk wasn't of one mind with the World Government.

But who could say for certain? Who knew when Vegapunk would suddenly be coerced by the Government—creating something incredible?

Go bring that guy back now.

Just planning to depart, Jinbei returned.

"The current situation is quite bad, Brett!"

Just meeting, Jinbei-aniki immediately spoke urgently. "If the Government truly mastered technology transforming humans into Fish-Men—then the deep sea we're in is no longer safe!"

Brett simply nodded lightly. "I know this, Jinbei-aniki. I'm going to handle it now."

Jinbei froze slightly, then nodded heavily. "Understood. Then leave Fish-Man Island entirely to me. Absolutely won't have problems!"

Said similar things to that Tesoro guy. Both very reliable companions.

"Then I'm off."

Thus Brett departed.

Destination: Navy Science Division's location. That island named Punk Hazard. Brett's true rise began there.

Punk Hazard housed the Navy Science Division's research base. This was absolutely top secret.

If Brett wasn't a transmigrator—even staying on that island for a long time, he'd never know where he was.

But actually, Punk Hazard island's location wasn't hard to find. Many maps openly marked it.

Just that for the vast majority of people on these seas, this island was just a barren wasteland. Nobody would imagine the World Government's most important research base existed here.

Being so, Brett naturally wouldn't have trouble finding it.

Didn't take long. He'd already arrived in the sky outside this island.

Truly nostalgic. Overlooking that lush island below, Brett felt quite moved.

This was where everything began. Where he defied fate and changed destiny.

Still remembered—staying here then, every day thinking about leaving. After returning to Fish-Man Island, would honestly hide. Until the straw hat junior and his companions stood up changing the world—then come out enjoying life.

Back then—completely never imagined such changes would occur.

How could he have thought he'd almost become the world's number one rebel now?

Time truly could change people.

Brett sighed thus.

Then dove straight toward that island below.

From outside, Punk Hazard just looked like a plain, unremarkable deserted island. Only special point—exceptionally good greenery. Lush trees everywhere.

Who'd imagine beneath those trees—below dirt and rock—the Government had excavated a massive experimental base here?

While descending, Brett's Observation Haki also spread. Countless voices immediately entered his ears.

Though already accustomed, so many voices entering simultaneously still made Brett feel dizzy.

He worked hard searching for certain key phrases.

Soon found them.

Brett heard a man shouting in a very shrill voice. "Vegapunk, you bastard..."

Got it.

Brett's lips curved. After Observation Haki swept the area that voice came from, already knew he'd found the target.

He immediately changed direction. Body already transformed to dragon-human form. Trailing long lightning. Flames also began spreading from mouth across his body. This time truly like a meteor falling—crashing toward a certain mountain among the mountain range below.

The instant he landed, earth melted. Rock and soil dissipated.

Completely unhindered, Brett had already smashed a huge hole in the mountain.

Charging unstoppably downward. Soon struck an obviously artificial metal wall.

But metal equally couldn't stop him even a moment. Same melting. Same piercing through.

At this time, beneath the mountain range—in the Navy Science Division's experimental base—a certain man was furiously raging at the World Government's Chief Scientist.

"Vegapunk, you bastard actually rejected my research proposal again!!"

The man had long black hair. Horns on his head. Wearing a strange coat like mist. Floating in the air. Roaring at the man before him.

"Told you many times, Caesar."

The man before him said unconcernedly. "Though scientific research always requires some sacrifices—you are too inhumane."

"Don't have that many prisoners for your experiments."

"Don't give me such righteous excuses!!"

The man named Caesar was so angry veins bulged on his forehead. "You bastard clearly just envy my talent—"

"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"

Before he even finished speaking, the laboratory suddenly flashed blinding red light. Sharp alarms simultaneously sounded.

"Eh?"

Caesar froze.

"Oh, an intruder came."

Vegapunk smiled lightly.

"Yo, Doctor. Long time no see."

A voice came from above.
