"That bastard old man returned, Brett?!" Yamato, gripping her kanabo club, looked toward the distant sky, shouting somewhat nervously.
"Leave this to me. Just leave with everyone," Brett said.

Yamato wanted to say more, but the distant monster gave her no time for words.

Scorching flames roared from the sky's edge like meteors streaking across, thundering down toward Onigashima.
Brett chuckled lightly. Then come!
He leaped skyward, his body instantly elongating and expanding. In mere moments, a crimson dragon coiled through the heavens.
"WHAAAAT?!" Yamato's eyes nearly popped from their sockets. "What is this?! The same ability as old man's!"
Brett had never mentioned such a thing!!
"BOLO BREATH!!"
Brett likewise opened his jaws wide, scorching flames roaring forth, instantly colliding with Kaido's incoming breath attack.
Two breath attacks collided in midair, forming a tremendous explosion moments later. Flames splashed in all directions. A fireball more brilliant than the sun hung suspended in midair.
"YOU DAMN BRAT, I'LL KILL YOU!!"
The monster was close now—Brett could even clearly see the scale patterns on his body. Could also see the black pteranodon flying behind Kaido. Could see even more clearly the furious expression on Kaido's long dragon face.

The two storm blade masses collided again. Visibly, Brett's exhaled wind blades were larger in scale, greater in number. After brief stalemate, they completely shattered Kaido's breath, overwhelming him with slashing attacks.
"WHAT?!" Kaido was greatly shocked. What joke was this?! The bootleg power overwhelmed the original?!
"What the hell is happening with this guy?!" King, who'd flown back with Kaido, was equally shocked.
Though already aware Brett possessed abilities identical to Kaido's, why did his power even surpass Kaido's?!
Wind blades slashed against Kaido's body, sparking briefly before completely shattering. Brett wasn't particularly surprised. Wind blades without even Haki infusion injuring Kaido would be the strange thing.
"Come, Kaido! Let's see whose ability is stronger!" Brett roared skyward.
The sky began darkening ominously.
