Hiruzen: "For starters, well he was my first student.."
(Time rewind 3 years into the 1st great Ninja war)
A young boy with white hairs, wearing a black shirt underneath a white haori with a fan symbol on the back was practising with leaves alone near a river. (Kageyama's age- 9)
Kageyama's technique: Lightning release
Upon delivering the technique the leaf in his hand crumpled at first forming a lotus and then slowly became smaller until it was crumbeled to the size of a finger nail. Kageyama's hand went almost blue-black with the intense lightning release element manipulation. This was his dedication to honing his skills, taking basic skills and refining them to extreme limits.
Kagami:*Claps**Claps**Claps*
Suddenly the voice of the Uchiha clan head Kagami Uchiha appeared.
Kagami: "I had heard that the clan has produced a little genius, but this is not something which even I had expected. Element manipulation of lightning release to such extreme limit, you crumpled that leaf to the size of my finger nail, I bet even most Jonins do not have such raw skills."
Kagami bowed and said.
Kageyama: "Greetings my lord and thank you for kind words of encouragement."
Kagami: "Ha ha so you are even so respectful, not something I expected for someone of your age, Setsuna has raised a good child."
Kageyama: "Dear clan head, although I appreciate your kind words, these feats are known to you for a long time so what are your ulterior motives towards meeting me."
Kagami: "Sharp cognitive skills. You are right, I wish to train you, such raw potential if trained properly could be a great asset for the village. What do you say, I have another student your age, Sakumo Hatake like you he also is a lightning release user. I am sure you would get along together."
Kageyama: "I would be honoured to learn ninja techniques from you sir. I will be under your care."
And so, Kageyama began his learning under Kagami alongside Sakumo, it was wartime and they were sent to the battlefield alongside him under a week of team formation. Kagami was assigned the war fronts of Kirigakure, as he possessed excellent Lightning release techniques and the Sharingan, he was the best counter for them. Kageyama got blood on his hands very soon, and Kagami saw that he appeared very normal after the deed, no emotion behind that act. He saw that behind Kageyama's eyes lied a proper Shinobi. Kageyama used to learn things like sponge every Ninjutsi technique even the most basic ones were mastered by him to an extreme level where he could even perform them with single handed. For now Kagami had taught them 5 techniques,
Lightning release: Thunderbolt (C rank technique)
Ninpo: Shunshin (D rank technique)
Ninpo: Earth Substitution(D rank technique)
Genjutsu: Disapperaing mirage(C rank technique)
Lightning release: Lightning ball(C rank technique)
Along with that, he trained them in some basic taijutsu katas. From here Kageyama first saw the possibility of a new taijutsu form unique to him. Sakumo was a genius in his own right however, Kageyama was just something else, his obsession with learning and to master what he had learnt alongside the way he relently just pursued practising placed him leagues ahead from Sakumo, in practise fights, Kageyama easily overpowered a chunin and Sakumo was incomparable to him, his basic skills were top notch and in his ninjutsu belt there was no technique that he could not unleash with one hand.
Soon, he came under the notice of the Uchiha clan's echelons and the village elders. The hokage's most trusted student, Hiruzen noticed him. Months went in the war and one day Kagami's team faced a squad filled with 2 Elite Jonins both speed based, while Kagami could easily defeat them one on one together, they had excellent teamwork. Slowly, Kagami's team was pushed to corner and Sakumo's and Kageyama's life came under danger as each move became more difficult to dodge. At one point, the jonin disappeared and reappeared behind Sakumo aiming for a straight kill and Kageyama could suddenly clearly view his movements which he previously could not. His eyes glew red with three tomoe in them, he awakened his bloodright, his kekkai genkai. As soon as the intruder stared at him, it became too late to avoid his eyes.
Kageyama' technique- Genjutsu: Infinite void
Trapping the enemy jonin, he went straight for the kill, with that he completed his first high profile kill. After that, his power levels surged further, his strength quadrapeled when Kagami was shifted to the Kumo front after 5 months. He could nearly copy and replicate every single lightning techniques from Kumo intruders, his Sharingan's insight and his proficiency over Lightning release were both the factors on how he could do it. Kagami was satisfied seeing his progress. Meanwhile, his teammate Sakumo too became proficient with a blade and did not lurk too far behind in skills. Kagami was slowly moulding himself for fast killing techniques and covering his track, nearly every kill he performed, he removed all of his traces, he wanted to picture himself as an invisible killer.
While Kagami was slowly becoming a reliable shinobi and as Kagami hoped, a beacon of light for his clan, an event took place the death of Tobirama Senju the second Hokage and the end of the Ninja war. A new Hokage was elected and so, many of the troops were called back. Kagami alongside his team too returned to the village. After a day when Hiruzen was seated on the Hokage seat, he called upon Kagami and enquired about Kageyama and hearing the boy's skills he was surprised. So he thought of something and summoned Kageyama via an anbu. Kageyama soon reached the Hokage tower, arriving there he knelt infront of the Hokage.
Kageyama: "Genin Kageyama Uchiha reporting sir."
Hiruzen: "Stand up. I have heard about your skills and I wish to take you on as my apprentice. I hope Kagami you would not have an objection with it."
Kagami smiled and said.
Hiruzen: "Of course not."
Hiruzen: "Well then what are your thoughts Kageyama."
Kageyama: "That would be an honour sir"
With that, Hiruzen gained his first student, he planned to train Kageyama early morning and resume his work during the day. On the first day of training, he did a brief fight with him to deduce his skills.
Hiruzen: "Come at me with all you got."
Kageyama instantly activated his eyes and vanished in a flicker of Shunshin. He did some seals and soon a ball of fire appeared from his mouth.
Kageyama's technique- Fire release: Fireball Jutsu
Hiruzen dodged the fireball, right then the ground infront of him bursted open
Kageyama's technique- Lightning Release: Grounding Bolt
(Description: The user channels lightning chakra into the ground beneath an opponent. While not lethal, it creates a small localized electrical field that can briefly paralyze the target's legs, making them unable to move or maintain their footing.)
Hiruzen again dodged off, when Kageyama attacked him from behind with a Kunai enhanced with lightning release.
Kageyama's technique- Lightning Release: Pulse Blade
(Description: The user focuses lightning chakra around a non-metallic weapon (like a wooden staff or even their arm if they're skilled enough) to create a flickering, short-range electrical aura. This aura doesn't cut like a normal blade, but delivers intense electrical shocks upon contact, capable of burning or severely numbing the affected area.)
Hiruzen both another Kunai in his hand and began battling with him on equal grounds, he was going easy on him but was impressed by his strategy and way of combat. While battling, Kageyama swiftly dodged a punch, pinpointed his body over his right hand and delivered a house kick to Hiruzen, which was blocked by him and he was pushed away, he threw some kunais at him and prepared some handseals
Kageyama's technique- Fire Release: Fiery Falcon
(Description: The user molds their fire chakra into the shape of a large, predatory falcon that flies with surprising speed towards a target. Upon impact, the falcon explodes in a burst of intense flames, capable of causing significant burning and blunt force trauma.)
Hiruzen first dodged the Kunais and prepared some handseals
Hiruzen's technique- Earth release: Mud wall
This blocked Kageyama's technique however something glew brightly behind Hiruzen from the previously dodged Kunais
Kageyama's technique- Explosive Release: Chakra-Infused Seal
(Description: Instead of just a simple explosive tag, the user creates a complex seal (perhaps larger or with more intricate calligraphy) that is infused with their own chakra as it's prepared. When activated, the chakra within the seal rapidly expands and detonates, causing a significantly larger and more powerful explosion than a standard paper bomb. The chakra infusion allows for precise control over the detonation time and strength, even remotely.)
It was too close to Hiruzen to be dodged. And then the explosion took place, Kageyama was thoroughly exhausted after his final technique and fell down, he almost expected Hiruzen would fall when he saw a Kunai on his neck.
Hiruzen: "What a fight it was, give a few years and I can already see you becoming a powerhouse Shinobi. Haha. Well done my boy I am impressed."
"Eat some ration pills I will start teaching you right away, although I did not use any Ninjutsu techniques today. You must know that I have mastered every chakra nature and so I would like you to pass it to you too."
"Let us begin with the easiest one, wind style. It is useful when used with Fire release techniques, you could create pretty good combination techniques with that especially your fire release technique that falcon one. Imagine making a far bigger and hotter one, that could easily scale that technique to an A rank technique."
