Rajin came to me and said, "You ready? I'm gonna teleport them all one by one and you're gonna take them. Here's the applicant form you asked for."
He gave it to me, and then I left.
I began to quickly teleport them one by one and used my mana to replace them. I teleported everyone in there, from 1 to 68—people trapped in sleep paralysis. While replacing them with my clones, I already possessed a lot of skills thanks to anime, manhwa, manga, and novels (my favorite, so yeah).
Then after that happened, I forgot the man.
Now you saved your friends. Everyone. You're really a real leader.
So I asked, "You wanna go to your house as well?"
He said, "No, I haven't finished. You said a week. I waited for almost 5 years in my life, so I can wait for a week."
Then I teleported him anyway and said, "Nah, I was just joking."
He said, "Be careful out there."
And I said, "Let me see you happy one last time. Go on in."
Then he knocked the damn door—and his son opened it.
He had left his son for a war and got tangled up in this mess, and after 5 years he saw his kid grown up. The kid began to cry and said:
"Mooooooom... Dad is home!"
The mother came and hugged her husband, and he was crying with them at the door. He said:
"Thank you... thank you, kid…"
And when he looked back—I had already teleported.
He cried and said, "I finally met my family..." and screamed.
The neighbors came and said, "He returned! He returned alive! We thought you were dead!"
I was there the whole moment—watching from the roof. Then I teleported back.
---
To Room 68.
David said, "Kurai, what are you doing here? How did you get in here?"
Then I said, "Shake my hand."
And he said, "What?"
Then I said, "We got no time. Shake my hand."
Then he said, "Okay."
He shook my hand—and I teleported him to the Trio Monsters, the ones who had been there for years. The strongest ever.
I told him, "Tame all three of them."
And he said, "Wait—how?" He was scared when he saw them. They were huge.
Then I said, "Do it now."
And he said, "Are we really doing this?"
Then I shouted, "Hey! Listen! Look into my eyes—look into them! Do I look like I chose you to help me for fun?! Do I look like I'm playing?! We are saving lives here. So get your ass ready and tame them while you can!"
The emergency had started—because the monsters' emergency protocol system had no connection to the AI whatsoever. But even though I couldn't get my 68 clones out of there—because if I did, the old man would know about it—they gave the signal fast.
But the monsters would only be noticed by the guards, and I needed to hold off until he tamed them. I had to call out for the others.
Then I unlocked the door and said, "Guys, come over here! We gotta go out while we can. Before I can teleport again—I have 30 minutes."
All the 8 guards came to me.
Then, the moment Dante saw them, he laughed and said,
"You know how much I've been wondering how to piss you all off?"
And he jumped—with his flame on.
Then the taeyang appeared from the back of one of the guards and took its shockwave gun.
It sends electrons to interrupt the mana flow which stops nervous system for short period of time.
They are pretty cute, not to mention she is doing well now. Then how should I approach this? At this time, we want to get out of here, and I already said "tomorrow" for them as a response. I have already gotten everything planned. At any moment, David will be able to pull it off somehow, and when that happens, I must teleport them. But I'm really weaker than I thought. Look at me, all sweating. I can't blame myself—after all, creating 67 clones and getting their mana sucked while teleporting 67 people from miles away is exhausting. My mana is no joke. At the very least, I must fight my ass off.
I was so drenched in sweat and thoughts, and then I joined the fight. David was so exhausted from taming those legendary beasts that had been in the mana drainage for many years, so I told Lyra to heal him and aid him with mana. She got right on it. After that, I got to Rim and told her to fight from long-range distance using her sand magic (not earth magic). Then I told her to use the sand to cover herself from those two who were using guns. She ran faster toward them—they were channeling lightning-aided mana into their guns. It fired, and she created a clash. Around 40 of them shaped the stones she sent flying by controlling them into thousands of bullets. She plunged them into the clash-type guns she made and, using the sand, fired them one by one. There, she began her game—fighting gun with gun.
Yosuke came to help her since it was 2 vs 1. He used his Thunder Bolt Diffraction, and then thunder balls formed all over the place. When they diffracted, they exploded.
On the other hand, Dante was already in the lead—3 vs 1. All three used water magic and martial arts. He always worked on calisthenics and had an athletic body. He made himself a mage who wins with his fists. He burns everything he touches—even the ground he stands on. He was rampaging in fire.
Meanwhile, it was 3 vs 2—me and Taeyang. Taeyang said he would use Shadow Void. I said, "That's dangerous, but if you're sure, do the Raven as well." He did the Raven, and the guards didn't know about it. They were looking around, trying to find him. In that split second, he pulled one of the guards into the shadow and sank him in. He took a deep breath, kicked his ass, and threw him out. They were too distracted, so I used a One-Shot Dash Technique and punched them in the neck. They lost consciousness.
They are really strong, and I admit that. But they weren't able to comprehend what was happening. The eight of us were doing something even high-ranked magicians can't do. We were creating our own attacks and defenses. A lot of magicians struggle to create even one attack—it might take them a year and a half to master it. They usually rely on foundational attacks and defenses passed down through generations.
For some reason, they definitely weren't there for a fight. While I was saying that, a serpent with dark, hypnotizing eyes and killer venom—huge as a building—ate half the land from underground. The guards were eaten by it. That's when I knew: they were sacrifices for the demons. The moment the demons ate them, they got a signal: "Kill them all."
Rajin used the speaker and said:
"Attention, Kurai. Someone is flying over there with unspoken speed and will arrive in 10 minutes. He is the descendant of Lord Alistair—the one you said is the head of everyone that old man. You must teleport in 10 minutes. No—it's already 7 minutes."
After that, the demons came flying—three of them, huge as the serpent. They were so furious. I thought, "This is gonna turn bad. Damn, should I use the magic attacks I know and kill them all? But then what if Alistair's brat gets to us? Besides, will I even be able to teleport everyone?"
When the serpent attacked me and almost reached me, I stood and said, "I guess there's no other choice." Just as I was about to act, a wolf—bigger than mine, shining bright with lightning in its eyes—stood before me. It barked like a German Shepherd, and the serpent blew up into pieces.
From the other side, a lion came—flames in its eyes, huge, with fire burning in its mane. It stood next to the wolf. And in front, in the middle, a shadow monster (like a reaper with a scythe) stood before them. On its head, David was standing.
He said, "I told you I'd pull it off."
I said, "Go take them down."
We all ran out of the building. He chased the demons—even into the sky. The three tamed beasts ran through the battlefield like it was pure grassland. He defeated them all.
But when he was about to return to us, something fast—bright as sunlight itself—took him and disappeared. It stood behind us, up in the sky. We turned around.
A human, shining and smiling, stood there. He said, "Nobody moves even an inch, or they're dead." Then he said to me, "What's your name?"
I said, "I've got nothing to say to worthless shit like you."
He smirked. "Yeah, well, whatever. But why are you… demon? No, you're human. But still demon?"
Lyra already knew about this. I'm glad I told her.
Then, in a second, I teleported in his face and punched. But he was fast—he dodged even teleportation. I did my very best, but I couldn't land a single hit. He caught me by the hair, punched me, and threw me to the ground. He struck me with a light spear, and I fell, rolling.
He said, "Nobody moves."
But Lyra ran, catching me with her tree magic. Crying, she used healing magic on me. Then she kissed me. Everyone was shocked but didn't say a word.
Until Rajin himself appeared in the sky.
Low-key, it was awesome. He came down with thunderclouds forming out of nowhere, the sky darkening, his voice echoing. He said, "Thunder Rain."
Lightning strikes began destroying the place, shooting randomly. Theo and Rajin began to fight. Rajin created flash thunders, firing them relentlessly. Theo dodged, creating lightning spears and attacking.
Rajin used Thunder Speed, passing through all the spears and punching him—but he didn't land a clean hit. Alistair dodged.
All of this was happening in the sky, and we were all watching—what a true fight looks like. And yet, the eight of us are called the strongest.
I woke up. Lyra looked at me straight and said, "I'm glad you're alive."
I said, "I'm sorry, Lyra, but I'm more focused on surviving right now."
She said, "Look at me." And kissed me.
"I was about to die when he stabbed you," she whispered.
I hugged her and said, "I love you." Then I told her, "We'll be separated for a long time. Are you sure you can wait for me?"
She said, "I'm more than happy to wait for you."
I kissed her. Behind us, Rajin and Theo were fighting a life-and-death battle, light and lightning flashing—making our last kiss fascinating.
I walked with her to the others and told everyone to give me a high five. After they did, I teleported into the sky and told Rajin to do the same.
Suddenly, he landed on the ground and said, "My body… it's disappearing. No—it's teleporting. But I don't have enough mana. My body needs to replenish first, or I might get into serious trouble."
I said, "What can I do to help him? I have to beat him—he's the only one who's shamed me in a fight. But wait… is he going to fight Theo alone?"
Yosuke said, "What is he doing? At this rate, he might not even teleport himself."
Everyone was shocked.
Dante said, "Are we teleporting? I guess."
I raised myself, flying upward like they did. Theo saw me. I went higher—above the clouds.
Looking down at him, I said:
"Falling Light. Falling Judgment. Catastrophe."
A huge astronaut made of light appeared.
Thoe said, "That was used by one of the legendary light magic users! You're using Star-Level Light Magic—the strongest!"
Then he realized—"Wait… you're not using Star-Level. It's Moon-Level!"
It was getting late. The moon appeared. I made my dream come true—standing in a T-pose.
The moment the dark clouds disappeared, hundreds of thousands of lights gathered behind me.
I fired them all.
Alistair's brat Theo used all his mana, running as fast as he could—breaking his limits to escape.
They eventually got teleported.
The whole land—200 km around—was wiped out. Nothing remained but magma.
Sadly, I was so weak that I fell with the attack.
They teleported. Rajin checked my signal—he didn't find it.
"Does that mean he's dead?"
Lyra lost her sanity. Everyone was devastated. David began to cry.
Rajin told them about my plan:
How I teleported 67 people to their homes.
How I saved them.
How I contacted David as Kenji, so he will help and get along.
How I made Jian and Mei join them, teaching each other.
"He was a really awesome kid," Rajin said. "When we talked, I felt him. It surprised me when he said he was into the same things as me."
They were separated into eight different kingdoms, becoming famous and training relentlessly.

One year later…
A strong, flashy guy stood in the middle of a dead desert, watching serpents and earthworms approach him.
He sighed. "What a shame. These monsters are demons? Nah—in my opinion, they should be called animals or insects, if not for their size. Well, I better finish them all here and now."
He cracked his knuckles.
"My name is Delta. And I am a fragment of Kurai."
