The Dawn Before the Storm
The sun rose across the horizon, casting golden light over the fields. Its warmth fell on Shammroy, Querion, and Ferin, stirring them awake. They washed, stretched, and began walking toward their destiny.
The morning was calm… until a thunderous thud echoed just ahead. From the trees and branches, hundreds of armored soldiers emerged in formation. At their center stood Geong's heir, a twisted smile on his face.
Geong's heir mocking, raising his hand,
"Now… there is no obstacle left to kill you all!"
From the swirling dust behind him, a woman stepped forward—her hammer-shaped blade gleaming. Ferin's eyes burned with fury the moment he saw her. Shammroy stood calm, while Querion exhaled in irritation.
Querion tired, muttering,
"Again…"
Shammroy turned to Ferin, noticing the rage in his eyes.
Shammroy calm, curious,
"Why are you so angry? Does this have something to do with her?"
Ferin clenching his teeth, his words barely audible to Shammroy,
"Yes… she killed many of our people."
The woman's voice cracked through the air, arrogant and sharp.
The woman snarling,
"Why are you standing still? How dare you speak toward higher authority in such a manner? I'll teach you a lesson, you low scums!"
Geong's heir grinning,
"Yes! You have no choice!"
The Leader's Test
In Shammroy's mind, Ziron's voice whispered with authority.
Ziron echoing in Shammroy's thoughts,
"Listen, Shammroy… give your comrades their chance, to not to prove their worth . But to gain their will power, the will power…given by you. You ask me how?Just believe in them, shammroy."
Shammroy closed his eyes briefly, then leaned toward his team, his whisper carrying weight.
Shammroy low, to Querion and Ferin,
"Ferin… I'll give you this chance. Take your revenge. Show her the pain she dealt your people."
Ferin's lips curled into a smile—not of joy, but of trust. The kind of smile that came only when a leader believed in you.
Shammroy turning to Querion,
"Querion, you take on the heir."
Querion grinning, drawing his weapon,
"I've been waiting for this order, Leader."
Shammroy firm, stepping forward,
"And I will handle the guards."
Ferin worried,
"That many?! Can you handle them all alone?"
Shammroy smirking, closing his eyes as his steps echoed toward the army,
"Don't worry about me."
Querion tilted his head, smirking back.
Querion,
"Let's go."
Ferin's Revenge
The woman planted her feet firmly, her voice dripping arrogance.
The woman pointing at Ferin,
"Huh… so you're my opponent? Fine. Let's see how long you last."
Ferin voice trembling with rage,
"I'll make you… pay for everything you've done!"
They clashed. She swung her hammer-blade with brutal force, but Ferin caught the strike bare-handed, shocking her, his fist drips blood, but he didn't hold back. Blow after blow followed, but his agile body weaved through every attack.
Her frustration boiled over. She drove the weapon into the ground, snarling.
The woman furious,
"Enough games! Now… feel real combat!"
Her aura ignited, surrounding her fists. Ferin matched her, his own body glowing with raw energy. The battle shifted into a savage melee—fists colliding, aura clashing, ground trembling beneath their strikes.
Querion vs. The Heir
Querion charged forward, blade drawn. The Geong heir sneered, gesturing at the soldiers.
Geong's heir,
"Guards! Bring him down and make him kneel before me!"
But the guards didn't move. They stood frozen, trembling, as Shammroy's eyes opened and his cold gaze swept across them. His mere presence suffocated their will. Geong heir see the shammroy in awe.
Querion smirked at the heir.
Querion taunting,
"Your guards can't even breathe under his gaze. It's just you and me now."
The heir's pride flared. He unsheathed his weapon.
Geong's heir,
"Then bring it on!"
The Father's Intervention
Just as Querion lunged and lauched his strike , Geong himself appeared and blocked that strike with his forearms, his presence halting everything.
Geong (roaring at the guards):
"How dare you all to disobey my orders! I already told you to let them go!"
One trembling guard,
"But… your son called us, Chairman…"
Geong's eyes snapped to his son. The heir lowered his head, sweat rolling down his face. Querion, confused, could only watch in awe.
Meanwhile, Geong noticed Ferin's battle with his daughter. In a blink, he appeared, grabbing Ferin's arm and hurling him backward.
Geong furious,
"How dare you touch my daughter, you worthless wretch!"
He lifted his leg to strike Ferin down. But before his foot could fall—Shammroy appeared. In an instant, he stood before Geong's daughter, he lifted her up by holding her throat.
Shammroy cold, unwavering,
"If you kick him… she won't be alive anymore."
Geong froze. His breath grew heavy. Slowly, he lowered his leg.
Geong tense, almost pleading,
"…Leave my daughter."
Shammroy narrowed his eyes, his voice dripping with authority.
Shammroy,
"Listen, Geong. If I truly wished to fight… you wouldn't last a minute. But this is not the time and I didn't want to do. I'll leave you be—for now. Stay out of my way."
Geong stood in silence, his face pale.
Departure
Shammroy turned to his comrades.
Shammroy , firm,
"You two. We're leaving."
He pulled out the portal pole, summoning a swirling gateway. As they prepared to step through, he gave one last warning.
Shammroy to Geong, his tone final,
"Change your rules… at least now. Because next time… I won't hold back."
The portal closed behind them, leaving the Yorison hall in tense silence.
The Present – The Arena
Far away, on an unknown planet, within the Tri-Tier Crescent Ascension Arena, three factions listened intently—the Rohdan group, Kaizer group, and Ziron group.
Kaizer leaned back, finishing the tale.
Kaizer , smirking,
"And after that, they came here… and told me everything."
Bane frowned, skeptical.
Bane,
"Told you? That means you weren't even there at the time?"
Kaizer chuckled, his smile unbothered.
Kaizer with a grin,
"Nope. That's what I say ! That was the first time I met them… here, on planet Vakerio. And if you want to know more—"
He rose, eyes sharp.
Kaizer,
"…we'll have to return to the academy."
