Courage Standing Against the Impossible
The mountain that once echoed with laughter had become a battlefield.
Wind roared through the trees as dust and shattered stone scattered across the ground. In the center of the chaos stood a boy whose body should have already collapsed.
Sang-Jaey.
Facing him was the monstrous being that had descended from the torn sky — the Humankind Monster.
To the terrified witnesses watching from afar, the battle looked unreal.
Sang-Jaey moved.
The monster moved.
And the space between their movements blurred as if time itself struggled to keep up.
Dr. Kwan and the remaining scientists stared in disbelief. Even the teachers and students who had barely escaped, could not look away from the impossible sight unfolding before them.
A boy.
A human boy.
Fighting a creature that had torn reality apart.
One of the scientists suddenly noticed something that froze his blood.
The battlefield was shifting closer.
Closer to the lab.
Closer to the place where the mysterious spell was stored.
Scientist ,alarmed realization,
"Doctor… the fight… it's moving toward the lab!"
Dr. Kwan's expression hardened immediately.
Dr. Kwan ,urgent command,
"If that creature reaches the spell, we have no idea what might happen, go and bring that!!!!"
Without another word, one scientist sprinted toward the laboratory entrance.
He ran through the corridors with trembling hands and reached the containment chamber.
Inside the protective case lay the strange fragment.
The spell.
Its faint glow pulsed like a living heartbeat.
Scientist , fearful whisper,
"Please… don't react now."
He grabbed it carefully and rushed back toward the others.
But as he approached the battlefield…
The fragment suddenly began to pulse violently.
Its glow intensified.
And its energy trembled as if it had just sensed something.
Something very close.
Something powerful.
A Race Against Time
Far inside the abandoned laboratory, another discovery was about to be made.
Dr. Shine stared at the results displayed across the monitor.
Her eyes widened in disbelief.
She checked the data again.
And again.
There was no mistake.
Dr. Shine ,shocked excitement,
"This… this can't be real."
The global blood database had finished its search.
The mysterious blood type mentioned in the decoded message had been identified.
Two results.
Only two in the entire world.
Dr. Shine grabbed the data tablet and rushed toward the lab exit.
Dr. Shine , breathless urgency,
"I have to tell them immediately."
But when she reached the main room…
It was empty.
The machines hummed quietly.
The chairs were abandoned.
Dr. Shine frowned.
Dr. Shine ,confused concern,
"Where did everyone go…?"
Completely unaware of the battle raging outside, she began searching through the facility.
A Body Breaking, A Will Unbroken
Outside, the battle had reached a brutal turning point.
Sang-Jaey's breathing had grown ragged.
His body trembled with exhaustion.
Cuts covered his skin, blood dripping down his arms as he struggled to keep standing.
Across from him, the monster tilted its head slowly.
It could sense the change.
The human was weakening.
Humankind Monster , cold amusement,
"Grrr… do you think yourself a hero?"
With terrifying speed, it lunged forward.
Sang-Jaey raised his arms to block—
Too late.
The monster's strike crashed into him like a collapsing mountain.
The impact sent him flying across the rocky ground.
Stone shattered.
Dust exploded into the air.
Sang-Jaey's body slammed violently into the earth.
For a moment…
He didn't move.
His skin was torn.
His body battered.
Blood covered his face.
His left eye had been destroyed by the force of the attack.
The monster slowly approached him, confident now.
Humankind Monster , low growl of victory,
"Grrrr… pathetic human!"
But then—
Sang-Jaey moved.
His fingers pressed against the ground.
His body shook violently as he forced himself up.
Step by step…
He stood again.
Sang-Jaey, but in some other voice in pained determination,
"I… can't fall yet…"
The Spell Chooses Its Bearer
The scientist carrying the spell had finally reached the edge of the battlefield.
But the closer he came to Sang-Jaey…
The more violently the fragment reacted.
It vibrated inside his hands.
Its glow surged like lightning trapped inside glass.
Scientist , terrified shout,
"I can't hold it! It's reacting to something!"
The energy burst suddenly.
The spell slipped from his hands.
And crashed onto the ground.
At that exact moment—
The monster raised its arm for the final strike.
Its massive shadow swallowed Sang-Jaey completely.
Humankind Monster ,murderous roar,
"GRAAAAH!"
The killing blow descended.
But just before it landed—
Sang-Jaey grabbed the monster's arm.
His fingers locked around it with desperate strength.
Blood poured down his face.
Then something impossible happened.
The eye that had been lost…
Opened.
Through the blood covering it, the pupil slowly emerged again.
And both of the sang jaey's eyes began to changing colour.
One burned with a deep crimson glow.
The other darkened into a terrifying black void.
The monster froze.
Its expression changed instantly.
Fear.
Real fear.
Humankind Monster , shaken whisper,
"…Grr… what?"
It stared into Sang-Jaey's eyes as if it had just recognized something ancient.
Something it should never have encountered.
The Punch That Shattered the Monster
For one brief moment, the battlefield fell silent.
The monster hesitated.
Taking advantage of monster's confuse.
Sang-Jaey moved.
He twisted his body forward with everything he had left.
His fist clenched tightly.
Sang-Jaey ,roaring determination,
"GET AWAY FROM THEM!"
His punch exploded into the monster's chest.
The impact was devastating.
The ground cracked beneath them.
The monster's body was launched backward like a broken weapon.
It flies and slides all over the debris and shattered rocks on the floor and remains…
Half-dead.
Sang jaey, out of exhaustion gasping for air slowly turns, every eye and every phone camera had locked on him , but his gaze found something — spell on the ground. He began to walk towards the spell , stretching his hand out but collapsed in the mid way.
The Truth Revealed
At that same moment, Dr. Shine finally reached the outside world.
Dr. Shine , shouting desperately,
"I found him!"
The scientists turned toward her immediately.
Dr. Kwan stepped forward.
Dr. Kwan ,demanding urgency,
"Found who?"
Dr. Shine lifted the data tablet.
Dr. Shine ,breathing heavily,
"The blood type from the message… the one mentioned in the spell."
The scientists leaned closer.
Dr. Shine continued.
Dr. Shine , serious explanation,
"The search revealed only two people in the entire world with this blood. But I can't say absolutely they have t-blood."
The group fell silent.
Scientist , curious tension,
"Who are they?"
Dr. Shine answered slowly.
Dr. Shine ,measured voice,
"One is an old man over a hundred years old."
A murmur spread through the group.
Scientist , disappointed sigh,
"Then this discovery is useless, if another one also a old being?!."
But another scientist asked the obvious question.
Scientist , sudden curiosity,
"Let her speak! What about the second person?"
Dr. Shine , her eyes locked on the environment.
The battlefield.
The destroyed mountain.
The injured monster.
And the unconscious boy lying on the ground.
Instead, she pointed toward the unconscious boy lying in the dirt.
Dr. Shine , quiet challenge,
"First tell me something. What happened here?"
Everyone looked at Sang-Jaey.
Dr. Shine's voice grew sharper.
Dr. Shine ,intense question,
"Who is the boy lying on the ground? What is that thing laid over there??"
The scientists exchanged glances.
Dr. Kwan spoke first.
Dr. Kwan , grim realization,
"He's the one who fought the monster."
Dr. Shine's eyes widened.
Dr. Shine, urgent demand,
"Turn him over. I need to see his face."
They carefully turned Sang-Jaey's body.
The moment Dr. Shine saw him…
Her breath stopped.
Dr. Shine ,stunned exclamation,
"It's him…!"
The Mark Revealed Beneath the Storm
At that exact moment, the sky exploded.
Thunder roared across the mountains.
Lightning tore through the clouds and struck a nearby tree.
Fire burst through the branches.
Rain began pouring from the heavens.
The flames crackled as water soaked the burning forest.
And slowly…
The rain washed the dirt and blood from Sang-Jaey's face.
Dr. Shine stared in complete shock.
Because beneath the fading blood—
A mysterious symbol appeared on Sang-Jaey's cheek.
A mark that had been hidden until this very moment.
A mark that should not exist on any ordinary human.
Dr. Shine whispered the truth that everyone was beginning to fear.
Dr. Shine , awed realization,
"We got the bearer! He's the one… the boy with the rare blood."
Lightning flashed again.
Illuminating Sang-Jaey's unconscious body.
And the strange symbol glowing faintly upon his face.
As if the storm itself had come to announce the awakening of something the world was never meant to witness.
