Chapter : 12[12]; Weapon of peace
--------------------------------
"Well, young master, this is about Miss Catherine...!" The secretary swallowed hard before speaking and then paused.
"What happened to her...???"
"This...!!!"
The assistant was afraid of Daniel. He knew that once this matter became known, there was a high chance he would definitely be crippled by him.
"Tell me... or do you want to die?" The cold and ruthless voice echoed inside the room.
"Sir, actually, our men have found that Miss Catherine seems to know that bastard Aaryan, and they were intimate, they were hugging, and Miss Catherine was even crying on his chest." The assistant took a deep breath and spoke the matter to Daniel in a rush.
"What...?!!!"
Bang!!!
Two thunderous sounds rang inside the room, as if something had been broken.
"What did you say?!" Daniel stood up abruptly and grabbed the assistant by the collar, looking at him angrily, looking at him for confirmation of this news.
"Yes, young master. Miss Catherine was with that man Aaryan, and they were hugging each other." While being held by the collar, the assistant answered slowly.
"Good... very good..."
"How dare a mere bastard from such a lowly world even set eyes on that bitch? I was thinking I would lay my hands on her, but I didn't expect this bitch to be so bold, hugging another wild man. But tonight, I will make this bitch kneel under my crotch and beg for mercy" Muttering to himself, he sounded like a madman who had lost everything and betting everything.
The assistant standing by couldn't help but feel terrified by the words and actions of his young master, and didn't expected, that he would react like this.
Knock... knock!
The assistant opened the door and saw his men knocking.
He bowed slightly toward Daniel and spoke,
"Young master, dinner is ready in the saloon."
"Okay..." Daniel answered with a cold and terrifyingly calm voice—a rare tone for him.
9:40 PM
In Daniel's Suite
Slap!!!
Bang!!!
A loud and hard slap landed on the beautiful face of Catherine, leaving a red mark like a stain on her fair white cheek, making her terrified.
And the hand was strangling her neck tightly, pressing the back of her head against the wall tightly.
An angry and rough voice came from Daniel.
"Bitch... tell me, who is he, and what relationship do you have with him?"
Daniel, looking fiercely angry, was about to strangle her to death.
"Umm... uh... I have my own friends..." Catherine said weakly, struggling against Daniel's grip.
"Oh... does a friend even hug and cry on another man's chest? As a woman, you have no shame, and want to do adultry and you even dare to let him touch you. Aren't you afraid I will kill you and him together?"
Holding her neck tightly, letting her breathe only lightly, that she could survive, he roared at her angirily.
"And even in the entire saloon, your eyes never left him.
Don't you know you are engaged to me?"
Slap!
Another hard slap struck the other cheek of her face.
"Ha ha... Even if I die today, I will not tell you who he is, or what my relationship with him is. No matter, what will you do."
Phew... spit...!
She laughed at him and spat in his face, making him even angrier.
"How dare you, bitch!" Daniel was furious, more angry than earlier he was.
He threw her onto the bed and started to undress himself, while unbuckling the belt.
"Today, you are going to…!"
After being thrown on the bed by Daniel.
"Uhhh..."
She cried out in pain as her head hit the bed's headrest.
With tears in her eyes, she closed her eyes and muttered slowly, as if she has accepted her fate.
"Goodbye... forever, my love..."
Half an hour ago.
On the end point of the ship, two men were leaning against the railing.
In the hand of the blond man, he held a cigarette and smoked it.
"Want one?" Gesturing, he offered it to the other.
"No, I don't smoke," the other man in a black hair refused.
They were actually Edward and Aaryan.
"Huh... Anyway, Aaryan, why is sister-in-law's mood so down today? Did you say something to her, or is she is angry with something, have you done something? Even at dinner, she looked like something had happened to her." Edward, while smoking, asked to Aaryan, who was standing beside him, leaning on the railing.
"I don't know what happened to her, but she seems to be hiding something from me, when i asked whwat happened to her, she is just quite. And I know it must be my fault, otherwise, with her character, if she felt guilty, she would tell me. But I don't even understand what the hell I did wrong," Aaryan shook his head in a sigh.
"Well, leave it be. I want to talk about something with you, but it may be confidential, and maybe even risky. Do you want to join in?" Aaryan looked at Edward and asked if he wanted to get involved.
"What... What kind of confidential and risky program?"
Edward, dropping his usual playfulness, quickly turned serious, he knew Aaryan never joked in such a tone.
"How did you feel today afternoon in the saloon, when I said, 'Watch these dogs, how they wag their tails at their master'?I noticed your face and I know you must have felt uncomfortable, right?" Aaryan raised his eyes and looked straight at Edward, whose expression grew stiff as he heard the words.
"Huh... Well, although your words felt wrong and harsh, it's the truth. Even as a noble family, I still have to bow my head in front of them," Edward admitted calmly, sighing, while smoking.
There was a silence between them for a while.
"Haha... So, have you ever thought about, that is to, making them bow their heads to you?" After a long pause, Aaryan finally spoke in the calmest way he could.
"What did you say...?" The cigarette dropped from Edward's hand onto the ground as his hand trembled, shock on his face as he stared at Aaryan's calm expression, as if everything was already under his control.
"What do you mean by that...?" Edward stuttered, his voice shaky.
If it had been someone other than Edward, someone who didn't know Aaryan, they might have thought he was daydreaming.
But Edward knew Aaryan, and he was certain:
"What he says, he does."
Edward forced himself to calm his racing heartbeat, looked at Aaryan, and took a deep breath.
Aaryan noticed Edward's actions and smiled, saying softly,
"Don't you believe me?"
"It's not that I don't believe you, but do you really think you can fight the entire British government and all of its people alone?" Edward shook his head, disapproving.
"Oh... So you think a single person can't overturn the entire British Empire? In your eyes, it's impossible, right?" Aaryan asked.
"Hmm... Yes, it's impossible," Edward nodded.
"Haha... haha..."
"Okay, let me give you an imagination: Imagine if I made something that could destroy the entire London in one minute, would you believe me then?" Aaryan placed his hand on Edward's shoulder and spoke seriously.
"What... What the hell are you talking about?" Edward was in shock for a moment, hearing that a city like London could be destroyed in a minute.
"Don't joke like that," Edward said coldly, brushing Aaryan's hand from his shoulder.
"Haha... It's just the beginning. That city could be destroyed within minutes. And if any people survive the attack, they'd have a disease that could last for generations. If someone survives, their future generations would be disabled in some way. I don't even know how. And as for the place, if you step in there, it will be like hell: you'll die or wish you had died. For almost a thousand years, that place will be cursed."
Aaryan didn't stop; he continued.
Edward gulped, trying to make sense of what Aaryan had just said.
The smell of cegarete coming from the below, making it more serious.
At last, Edward spoke up. "If you really mean what you said… if you can actually do something like that…" He stopped, looking at Aaryan to see if he was kidding, but Aaryan looked completely serious.
"Why would you even think about it? What are you trying to do, Aaryan?"
Aaryan looked at Edward's expression and couldn't help but find it funny and regretble both, and sighed .
He smiled and replied normally to questions of him,
"I've almost finished it. As for why I would do something like this..."
"Hey, do you even know how many famines we've gone through?
How many people have died, been looted, raped… and even more brutal things than that, have you ever considered, or the British goverment?"
He paused for a moment and watched the changing emotions on Edward's face. Then he smiled gently, as if it were his signature look.
"Don't worry, I won't drop it on London, but it will be dropped. It'll be somewhere in the north of the UK. I don't want to be known in the future as one of the world's cruelest people. After all, I'm not British, I wouldn't destroy the whole world, enslave it for profit, and not even care… then call others lowly and poor."
He grinned, "Do you want to know the name of the weapon I've made?"
"What?" Edward asked, curiosly.
"Well, to be honest, its real name is the nuclear bomb, or atom bomb. The name I gave it is 'The Weapon of Peace., it will give and maintain the peace, through out the entire world.'" Aaryan finally said, then turned his gaze up to the clear night sky.
"So, do you want to join my party and help bring down the British government, and in return, you will get what you wanted?"
"I'll give you time to think. The last date to decide is April 14th, 11:45. And don't worry—you won't be alone; a few others will join too. If you want, bring anyone else who wants to come. Just tell them to meet here at exactly 11:45." After saying this, he took his hand off the railing and walked away.
Edward was left alone, standing there.
Aaryan was coming back from his talk with Edward, just now.
As he walked down the dimly lit corridor of the first class gangway, suddenly the faint creak of the ship and distant murmurs surrounded him.
Suddenly, a struggling sound caught his attention, not loud enough for most to notice, easily lost among the ship's usual noises. But for Aaryan, whose senses and physique had been sharpened and strengthened by the system compensation reward, to him, it was clear and unmistakable.
He raised his head and looked the room number at.
B-51.
