Clover, Mark, and the Qwinks all head vaguely in the same direction.
As they go in the direction they heard might be the most suspicious from the demons they've been eavesdropping on, they come across 5 groups of demons, all spread out a few hundred meters away from a singular point.
Clover suggested to Mark and the Qwinks that they keep a distance from the demons and watch for a while, as it might give them more clues on where they could find Noel.
At Clover's suggestion, Mark and the Qwinks agreed to keep a distance from the demons and just watch them.
~{DIALOGUE}~
Clover Winslow: "Now that we got close enough to hear what they're saying, we should be able to get more information by sticking around them." *Whispers*
Mark Zin: "What'll happen if one of them notices us?" *Whispers*
Clover Winslow: "It'll be fine, worst comes to worst, I can at least hold them off long enough for all of you to escape, and I'd teleport away." *Whispers*
Mark Zin: "You can teleport?" *Whispers*
Clover Winslow: "Yes, but it has many limitation and a large period of needing to gather mana passively is required before I can use it again." *Whispers*
Clover's Inner Monologue: It'ss just an ability I gained when Bell became my spirit familiar, and it doesn't take long to recover the mana required to teleport again, but it's better if I don't say that."
Mark Zin: "Well, that's reassuring." *Whispers*
(SCENE)
Clover, Mark, and the Qwinks all stop talking and listen to what the demons are talking about.
Clover suggested that they all split up so they can gather as much information as possible, to minimize risk, she asked that it be in groups of two, so there would be certainty that everyone would likely be safe.
Mark and the Qwinks had no problem with Clover's plan, so they proceeded to split up into groups in hopes of gathering more information as to where Noel could be, or had been taken to.
After a certain time passed, Clover, Mark, and the Qwinks regrouped and shared the information they gathered.
Clover said that she heard the demons talking about some sacrifice for their new king. Mark said he heard that they were going to bring multiple carriages filled with humans who have high mana to the area, so they can give them as an offering.
The Qwinks said they heard the demons talking about a revival ceremony that will bring back an ancient demon that was killed by a so-called hero.
