[THE LAKE]

The man Clover first used as bait to lure out the monster that was in the lake eventually died, but the beast still didn't go out of hiding, after a breath moment of confirming that they had died. Clover looked at the other two people she had lined up to be used and showed a slight grin as she stared at them.
Clover took the person who was closest to her and used her wind magic to empty their lungs and cut them up a little bit, as she began to throw them into the lake.
The person was thrown into the lake and began to struggle and try to escape, but their flailing only brought more monsters towards them.

Clover watched and waited as she saw the person she had thrown into the lake slowly drown, but as the time went by, eventually the monster she was searching for showed itself and went to eat the person who had been drowning, along with the one who had just recently died first in the lake.
When Clover saw the monster, she waited for a second and allowed the monster to get closer to her so she could capture and exterminate it.
A few moments passed, and eventually the monster got close enough to Clover, so she decided to act and used some new magic she had learnt from Bell, to try and capture the monster, before testing out other skills to see how effective they are in combat.

Clover cast a spell that allowed her to take a chunk of water out of the lake and keep the monster in that water while it's outside the lake.
After capturing the monster in a bubble of water outside the lake, Clover used the spell 'Water Compression' to compress the water the monster had been in to see if it was strong enough to completely mutilate it.
The spell activated, and the water compressed; however, it was strong enough to completely kill the beast, but it did heavily wound it. As Clover was about to test out another skill on the beast, Bell told her that she should wait for a second, as she could keep the beast as a pet. Clover stopped for a moment and asked Bell what he was talking about.
Bell Zymen: "Clover, you can make a slave contract with the beast, and keep it as a spirit pet."
Clover Winslow: "What are you talking about? Why would I have to make it sign a slave contract?"
Bell Zymen: "It's because they're very cunning beasts, but don't disobey the orders of their masters if they have one."
Clover Winslow: "So, how do I make it sign a Slave contract to be my pet?"
Bell Zymen: "I'll make a spirit contract and transfer it to you; all you have to do is feed that other human to the beast and give it the contract to sign."
Clover Winslow: "Well, that's easy enough, I'm willing to try it out."
(SCENE)
Bell quickly made a spirit contract and gave it to Clover for her use. Clover took the last remaining person, whom she was gonna use to lure out the monster, and gave it to the beast, along with the spirit contract. The beast looked at the contract and person and its own injuries and decided that it would be a wise choice to sign it, and eat the person.
After signing the spirit contract, the beast suddenly changed form and became a spirit fish.
Clover looked at the beast in its new form and asked it if it had a name. The beast said it didn't go by any name, so Clover decided to name it 'Larkie.'
Larkie transformed once more after being given a name into a greater spirit fish. Clover asked Bell what Larkie could do, and Bell told her that they could be used in battle or trained to do other mundane tasks.
