Chapter 13 — Planet Yardrat
After sending Blue Pearl toward Planet Zuno, Tachibana Kyūjō didn't head straight to the Galactic Patrol Headquarters.
He knew very well that, at this moment, he was one of the most controversial individuals in Universe 7—
the infamous Silver Saiyan, a name whispered with awe and fear across countless star systems.
Marching into the Galactic Patrol Headquarters while carrying the identity of a Saiyan?
That was practically begging to be surrounded… or sentenced on the spot.
Did people really think the Galactic Patrol HQ was a place anyone could casually walk into?
They were the law enforcement agency of the entire universe.
And while many of their branch officers were notoriously sloppy, the central command was packed with elite warriors.
With his current battle power in the hundreds of thousands, Kyūjō wasn't confident he could stand against their core forces for long.
If he barged in without preparation, there was a good chance he would be arrested immediately.
And truly, Kyūjō didn't want to fight them—
not if he could avoid it at all.
In truth, his goal was to join the Galactic Patrol.
If he could do that, then he would:
Gain access to the universal star maps he wanted,
Be able to fight strong enemies while upholding justice,
And freely choose opponents from their wanted lists—
villains, criminals, tyrants—
the perfect training partners who wouldn't require him to hold back.
But his identity as a Saiyan was the real problem.
The entire universe knew:
Saiyans had always served as mercenaries under the tyrant Frieza, Emperor of the Universe.
Even though Planet Vegeta had been destroyed years ago, the infamous reputation of Saiyans remained.
Fortunately, hiding his identity wasn't difficult.
The only thing that could instantly expose him was his tail.
As long as the tail never showed, he was safe.
Cut it off?
No way.
Kyūjō wasn't Son Goku. He could fully control himself even in his Great Ape form.
And that transformation granted him a tenfold increase in power—
a trump card he would never throw away.
— — —
Before going anywhere near Galactic Patrol HQ, Kyūjō decided to visit a far more interesting place—
a world known as Planet Yardrat, where Son Goku had learned the legendary Instant Transmission in the original story.
Planet Yardrat was inhabited by a race with low combat power, yet they possessed astonishing esoteric abilities.
They were peaceful, gentle, and extremely friendly toward off-world visitors.
And what techniques did the Yardratians possess?
Several famous ones included:
Instant Transmission
Multiform
Giant Form
Forced Separation
Invisibility, and hundreds of other mysterious skills—
All derived from their mastery of something called Spirit Control, their own interpretation of Ki manipulation.
Kyūjō believed that if there was any place where he could learn to hide his tail, it would be here.
And learning Instant Transmission was absolutely mandatory—there was no world in which he would skip such a broken ability.
Fortunately, Planet Yardrat wasn't far from Namek.
In the original story, Goku had ended up here by accident after escaping Namek's destruction.
And thanks to Porunga's redesign, the Golden Flash navigation system already stored all Yardrat coordinates.
With a single command, the golden spacecraft departed from the Zuno star sector.

Upon arriving at Planet Yardrat, Tachibana Kyūjō didn't intend to train alone.
He ordered all of his crew members to choose one technique they were interested in,
and learn directly from the Yardratians.
Time passed quickly—
three entire years flowed by.
In the first two years alone, Kyūjō mastered 108 Yardratian techniques, including:
Instant Transmission
Forced Separation
Multiform Technique
and dozens of other esoteric abilities.
One technique in particular deserved special mention:
Forced Separation.
In the world of Dragon Ball, this ability could easily be considered divine-tier.
It allowed the user to forcibly split apart beings who had fused or absorbed others—
for example:
Separating fused entities,
or extracting absorbed life-forms or energy.
After learning everything he wanted, Kyūjō prepared to leave the planet.
But before he departed, Elder Pybara—the leader of Planet Yardrat—faced the young prodigy with gentle eyes filled with hope.
"Kyūjō… All of our techniques originate from Spirit Control. Do not limit yourself with existing concepts. As long as you can master the spirit, nothing is impossible."
"And more than anything… I hope you achieve your dreams out there in the vast universe. When you have time, return to this place. Many friends here will always be waiting for you."
Now eleven years old, Tachibana Kyūjō had grown into a calm, composed young man.
He smiled softly and replied:
"Thank you for everything, Elder Pybara. I won't forget you, and I won't forget this beautiful world—Planet Yardrat."
With that, dressed in his strengthened battle suit, Kyūjō returned to the Golden Flash with his crew, ready to continue their cosmic adventure.
By now, Tachibana Kyūjō possessed a battle power of 1,690,000—
a terrifying number for most beings across Universe 7.
And this happened even though he had barely used the gravity chamber in the past three years, focusing instead on martial arts philosophy and spirit control.
Had he combined this with intense gravitational training, his strength would have multiplied several times over.
But Kyūjō had no regrets.
His three years on Earth had given him almost perfect Ki mastery—
such that he could boldly declare:
"Whoever stands against me… no matter what Energy Blast they use, I can replicate it."
Of course, that excluded divine powers such as Hakai, the Destruction Energy exclusive to Gods of Destruction.
Abilities of that level belonged to the realm of deities.
And although his Yardrat training did not directly raise his power level,
it opened the door to a new understanding—
A glimpse into the domain of gods.
Destruction—symbol of the Gods of Destruction.
Creation—domain of the Supreme Kai.
Order—authority of the Angels.
These three supreme forces were, at their core, evolutions of Ki—
shaped by spiritual discipline, mental clarity, and transcendent insight.
For now, these were only Kyūjō's theories—
formed through deep contemplation and fragments of knowledge from key figures in the original Dragon Ball universe.
But true or not—
this was the path he chose for himself.
A path toward transcending limits.
A path toward the highest summit of power.
A path toward godhood.
