Chapter 307 - The Capsule

Chapter 11 — The Capsule

After explaining his mysterious origins to Kami, Tachibana Kyūjō left the Heavenly Realm behind.

His next destination: Capsule Corporation, the technological heart of West City.

If he had to pick one thing on Earth that fascinated him as much as Senzu Beans, then it would unquestionably be the Capsule.

These tiny devices were nothing short of miraculous—advanced technology capable of compressing massive objects into pocket-sized containers. They were the pride of the Brief family, founders of Capsule Corporation.

A single capsule could store a motorcycle, a car, an airplane… even an entire house.

Such technology didn't exist anywhere in Universe 7.

It was no wonder the Brief family was the wealthiest household on Earth.

— — —

At the massive Brief residence, a five-year-old Bulma—about the same age as Kyūjō—was staring blankly as a little boy descended from the sky and landed in her front yard.

But the blank stare lasted only a few seconds.

Her expression instantly shifted into explosive excitement, and like a hungry koala she jumped forward, wrapping both arms tightly around Kyūjō's waist.

"Aaaaaaaahhhh!!!"

"Mama! Mamaaa, come here, hurry!!"

"I prayed to God yesterday—and now my wish came true! He sent me a boyfriend!"

Her shrill voice echoed through the entire mansion.

Moments later, a gentle adult voice replied from inside:

"Bulma, sweetie, there's no such thing as a god who grants boyfriends. And you're only five. It's too early to talk about that."

While speaking, Bulma's mother—Mrs. Bikini Brief—stepped outside…

…and immediately widened her eyes when she saw her daughter hugging a boy she had never seen before.

— — —

"Hello, Mrs. Brief," Kyūjō greeted politely as he gently pried Bulma off him.

But Mrs. Brief didn't answer right away.

Her eyes were locked onto the long, furry tail swaying behind him.

"Young man… what's your name? Why did you suddenly appear at our house? And that tail…"

Kyūjō smiled kindly.

"It's a long story… but in short, I'm not from Earth. I'm an alien. I came here because I want to meet the creator of Capsule Corporation."

— — —

Inside the living room, Dr. Brief observed Kyūjō with a calm yet cautious disposition—gentle like a scientist, but sharp like a researcher confronted with something unknown.

"My boy," he said, pushing up his glasses, "it's not that I don't believe you, but alien visitors? Space travel? That's a bit hard to accept. Do you have proof? Some kind of… extraterrestrial device?"

"If you really are from space, I'd happily give you a few capsules as a gift. No payment needed."

Kyūjō raised his hand lightly.

"My spaceship is currently orbiting above Earth's atmosphere. I can show you anytime. But I'm not here for gifts. I need capsules in large quantities. In fact, I'd like to commission a special Capsule—one big enough to store my entire ship."

He paused, then spoke with earnest seriousness:

"And I'll pay, of course. Or if you prefer, I can trade you advanced alien technology. Believe me… your Capsule technology has immense potential. Across the entire universe, I've never seen anything quite like it."

"I wonder… have you ever considered expanding Capsule Corporation beyond Earth?

Into the galaxy, perhaps?

If you're interested, I can help make it happen."

Mrs. Brief blinked several times, stunned.

This boy—who looked almost human except for his tail—spoke of interplanetary economics with unnerving fluency. Part of her still doubted him, yet… something about his confidence felt undeniably real.

Without offering more explanations, Kyūjō tapped the communicator on his wrist.

"Allow me to show you my ship."

Mrs. Brief, still half-bewildered, took Bulma's hand and followed him outside.

— — —

The moment they stepped past the front gate, both mother and daughter froze.

Hovering above their home was a massive golden spaceship—so enormous it made their luxurious house look like a garden shed.

Its polished surface gleamed under the West City sunlight, radiating a futuristic brilliance that was undeniable.

Any lingering doubt Mrs. Brief had evaporated instantly.

No one with a ship like that needed free capsules.

The Golden Flash drifted majestically overhead, and Kyūjō's crew—competent, disciplined, and unmistakably alien—handled all introductions and technical demonstrations.

Meanwhile, Kyūjō quietly began a new life on Earth… a journey dedicated to exploring the planet's martial arts.

Whenever his Infinity Perception System detected the presence of a skilled fighter, he would immediately seek them out and request a sparring match.

Naturally, he suppressed his Ki to extremely low levels during these bouts.

This journey lasted three full years.

On Earth, there was no martial artist he could not find—not even those who tried to hide.

He sparred with countless individuals, including well-known masters:

Master Roshi — Turtle School

Master Shen — Crane School

But beyond the iconic figures of the original story, Kyūjō discovered many other fascinating martial artists scattered across the planet, each with unique techniques that enriched his understanding of combat.

Their overall power might have been low by Saiyan standards, but their ingenuity—how they shaped and utilized Ki—opened entirely new perspectives for him.

He learned techniques such as:

Solar Flare

Multi-Form

Afterimage Technique

Four Witches Technique

Dodon Ray

Destructo Disc

Thunder Shock Surprise

Kamehameha

Even martial arts from styles like Hokuto Shinken and Nanto Suichōken…

He learned all of them—every single technique he encountered.

Along the way, when the infant Son Goku finally arrived on Earth, Kyūjō quietly cut off his tail ahead of time…

A necessary step to prevent the future tragedy of Gohan's death during a Great Ape transformation.

Now eight years old, Kyūjō felt that his time on Earth was drawing to an end.

Before leaving, he once again piloted the Golden Flash to distant planets, capturing several thousand kilograms of exotic space fish. He delivered all of it to Korin in a special Dimensional Capsule.

He visited Kami's Lookout one final time, but Kami seemed uninterested in returning to Namek.

After leaving the shrine, Kyūjō returned to the Brief residence.

There, he retrieved the seven Dragon Balls he had gathered over the past three years.

Standing tall, he raised his hand toward the sky and declared with unwavering resolve:

"Come forth, Shenron!"
