Deep within the giant's brow, encased as if by the most resilient crystal, Kaito's arm cradled Saori and Child Emperor, their thoughts nearly coming to a standstill.
"Wh–what… what is this?!"
Saori gasped, her voice trembling with disbelief.
Her long eyelashes fluttered like startled butterfly wings, and her beautiful, well-maintained face was filled with shock.
Child Emperor's reaction, however, was entirely different.
His eyes—normally gleaming with sharp intellect—were now wide open, almost bulging from their sockets. His young face flushed crimson in an instant.
"O–oh my God!!!"
His voice cracked and rose high, not from fear, but from the uncontrollable ecstasy of a scientist staring at the ultimate creation.
"Perfect materialization of matter and energy?! Spatial stability anchor points?! Neural linking mode of super-gigantic constructs?! This… this is simply—"
He spoke incoherently, waving his hands as if conducting a cosmic orchestra, blood roaring through his veins.
"A miracle! No—an ultimate technological blueprint that transcends miracles!"
Just then, a gentle yet irresistible will permeated the crimson-gold aura surrounding them, softly touching the core of their consciousness.
Kaito's deep voice resonated directly within their minds:
"Relax. Feel it."
Boom.
As if a hidden switch had been thrown, a new scene bloomed within Saori's and Child Emperor's minds.
No longer were they inside the confined core space of the giant—
They were everywhere.
An unprecedented, panoramic vision unfolded before them, overlooking all living beings.
Their awareness ascended, as if their souls had soared ten thousand meters into the sky!
The entire Y City stretched below them—
crisscrossing streets etched like delicate engravings,
skyscrapers reduced to toy blocks,
fleeing crowds like ants,
and burning vehicles like faint sparks.
Further out, they saw mountain veins and winding rivers,
the horizon curving gracefully,
the atmosphere flowing beneath their gaze,
and the clouds rolling below like endless white blankets.
This was truly—the Giant's perspective.
"Waaahhhh!!!"
Child Emperor shrieked, his small face as red as a ripe apple, eyes bursting with unprecedented light.
He greedily scanned every detail of the ten-thousand-meter giant—
the streamlined, dark-glowing arms, the mountain-solid chest, the burning crimson-gold eyes…
Countless mecha design inspirations surged through his mind like a cosmic Big Bang.
"Joint transmission structure! Energy circuits! Force field shield generators! And this absolute defense form!
My God—my super-gigantic variable combat mecha… it finally has hope! Real hope!"
On the other side, Saori was drowning in a different kind of awe.
She had never imagined a human could possess such a perspective—
to look down upon all life itself.
It was grandeur beyond comprehension, magnificence beyond physicality.
The burning city below seemed so small—
so insignificant.
An electric shock of realization coursed through her,
her body trembling as if struck by lightning.
Her long, slender legs, encased in thin black stockings, trembled uncontrollably.
She instinctively tightened her grip on Kaito's strong arm around her waist—
the only anchor keeping her tethered to reality.
That feeling of control… of divinity…
It filled her with a dizzying, intoxicating rush.
Her breath quickened, her chest heaving violently. Slowly, she lifted her eyes.
Her gaze traced Kaito's sharp jawline, resting on his calm, focused profile.
The golden aura of the Emperor Engine illuminated his features,
casting a divine halo upon him.
In Saori's eyes, all fear vanished—
replaced by a fervent, almost worshipful admiration.
Pink heart-shapes shimmered in her pupils, swelling as if they might spill out.
Her heartbeat thundered, her mind blank, echoing with one maddening thought:
"Too… too handsome. Too powerful. Lord King… is this truly… a god?"
Just then, Centipede Elder, driven by desperate frenzy, slammed violently into the ten-thousand-meter Asura's calf.
A sky-darkening wave of dust exploded outward.
When the haze finally cleared, the colossal Asura remained utterly motionless—
while Centipede Elder's head was cracked and mangled, forcing him into a frantic shell-shedding nirvana.
His wrinkled, aged face—set above those grotesque mouthparts—had lost all arrogance.
His eyes now brimmed with pure terror.
He turned to flee.
Kaito's gaze remained still—
as calm as ancient ice.
He didn't move.
He merely thought.
Rumble!!!
The ten-thousand-meter-tall Asura Giant moved.
Despite its colossal size, its speed was terrifyingly swift—
a storm given flesh.
Its gigantic right arm, wreathed in condensed dark light,
seemed to slice through space itself,
appearing instantly before Centipede Elder's fleeing, monstrous head.
Five fingers spread wide—
That enormous palm descended like a five-fingered mountain.
"Splat—!!!"
A chilling, muffled tearing sound echoed through the heavens.
Centipede Elder's terrifying momentum—enough to collapse mountains—came to an abrupt, pitiful halt, as if it had slammed into an unmovable wall of divine wrath.
His proud, thick carapace—once a symbol of invincibility—now cracked like a fragile watermelon beneath that colossal hand, glowing with dark light and wrapped in a crimson-gold aura.
No—he wasn't merely crushed.
Five fingers, each like a pillar of heaven, sank deep into the armor that once defied every weapon.
Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!
The teeth-grinding sound of carapace shattering filled the air.
In Centipede Elder's vast compound eyes, madness dissolved into sheer terror—his consciousness drowning in blinding pain.
His regenerative core ruptured. His scream tore through the sky, raw and inhuman.
"No—!!!"
But that shriek… was destined to be his final one.
The ten-thousand-meter Asura Giant's left hand flashed like another bolt of divine lightning, cleaving the clouds as it seized Centipede Elder's thrashing tail.
The two colossal arms crossed—
and then, Kaito exerted his will.
"Rip—!!!!!"
It was the sound of reality itself being torn apart.
That monstrous insect body—thousands of meters long, the nightmare of entire cities—was utterly powerless before absolute strength.
Under the Asura's tearing arms, the Dragon-level terror was ripped clean in two, like a ragged sheet of leather.
Foul, dark-green blood cascaded in torrents, mixed with pulped organs and shredded flesh. It fell from the sky like a grotesque rainstorm.
The broken halves of Centipede Elder's corpse—head crushed, body severed—slammed into the outskirts of the city with an earth-shattering crash.
Two mountains of filth discarded by a god.
A shockwave rippled outward, kicking up dust that blotted out the sun.
It had all happened in mere seconds.
From the moment the giant raised his hand—
to the instant the monster was torn apart—
only one or two breaths had passed.
In the original chronicles, not even the combined might of Bang and Bomb—unleashing the Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist—nor Genos drilling deep and firing the Super Spiral Incineration Cannon could end Centipede Elder.
But before this ten-thousand-meter Asura, he was nothing more than a paper toy.
A broken relic of fear.
