Just moments ago, Kazama had taken the form of the Hachibi Gyuki (Eight-Tails). Now, he'd somehow transformed into the Kyubi no Yoko (Nine-Tails) and casually swatted away Killer B's Tailed Beast Ball.
"What the heck?! Isn't Naruto supposed to be the Kyubi Jinchuriki? How can Kazama turn into the Kyubi too?"
Motoi, stunned, turned to Yamato and Kai for answers.
But the two were just as shocked as he was. They had no clue why Kazama wielded the Kyubi's power.
"Naruto, do you know?"
Yamato, Kai, and Motoi all looked at Naruto.
But Naruto was frozen in place, gobsmacked by the battle between Kazama and Killer B.
"Guess he's got no idea either," Yamato sighed, and the group turned back to the fight.
Kazama already had the strength to completely overpower the Hachibi. Now, transformed into the Kyubi, he was on a whole new level.
In just a few breaths, Killer B's Hachibi Gyuki form was battered black and blue.
The once-cocky Hachibi and Killer B were now reduced to dodging desperately under Kazama's onslaught, too scared to even fight back.
"Killer B, you idiot! Beg Kazama for mercy already! If he keeps this up, I'm done for!"
Killer B had wanted to surrender earlier, but his pride kept him going.
But now, seeing even the Hachibi throw pride out the window, what was the point of his own ego?
So, Killer B quickly reverted from his Hachibi form and started groveling to Kazama.
"You're a real young hero! I admit defeat!"
"Killer B's actually surrendering?!"
Motoi was floored by Killer B's words.
Even in his battles with Raikage, Killer B had never given up. Yet, after just a few rounds with Kazama, he was throwing in the towel.
Motoi couldn't help but admire Kazama's strength. No one else in the world could make Killer B submit like that.
As Kazama returned to his normal form, Yamato and the others snapped out of their shock.
They crowded around him, bombarding him with questions.
"Kazama, how do you have both the Hachibi and Kyubi's powers?"
Seeing their curious stares, Kazama just grinned.
Though he was their comrade, he wasn't about to reveal his system's abilities or admit he'd truly mastered both the Hachibi and Kyubi's powers.
"It's just a basic transformation jutsu, not real tailed beast power. Our priority right now is getting Naruto to learn how to control the Kyubi."
"Oh, alright then."
Seeing Kazama dodge the topic, the group didn't press further. After all, Kazama's abilities were his own secrets.
"To learn how to control a tailed beast, you first have to pass the trial of the Waterfall of Truth!"
Killer B led Kazama and the others to a waterfall.
"If you can't defeat the darkness in your heart, even if you manage to control the tailed beast, it'll eventually consume you!"
"Got it!"
Naruto sat on a rock across from the waterfall, focusing and clearing his mind.
"As long as you can awaken successfully, you'll be qualified to control the tailed beast!"
Killer B said this with a sly chuckle in his heart.
