Chapter 103 - Lord Rudeus Boreas Greyrat

Darius, being the lazy man that he is, didn't take long to fall asleep and after telling his assistants to wake him up in an hour, he lay down to sleep to try to find some answers from Hitogami.

When he fell asleep he had the serious sensation of opening his eyes and when he did he found himself in the middle of a completely white space with a light layer of smoke covering the ground below him.

"Haaa... good..." He sighed with relief and looked around trying to find him.

"Lors Hitogami!" Darius said with a smile upon meeting the one he considered his savior.

But immediately Darius noticed something he had never seen before, Hitogami was not in his usual playful posture nor did he have that smile on his face.

Instead he was looking at the ground with his back to him, without turning to look at him.

"Lord Hitogami?..." Darius muttered fearfully and walked slowly towards the faceless being.

So Darius walked and when he was only A meter away he stood in his place terrified by Hitogami and his behavior.

Hitogami was actually looking into his future, trying to figure out what to do, any shortcuts or help he might have.

But all of them end in failure and subsequent death.

With the destruction of Millis five years ago Hitogami had to reorganize as best he could while trying to find apostles but the strongest people in the world were defeated by Rudeus without any effort.

Any shortcut he took, any attack, any blackmail or movement against the human world, accelerated his death more and more.

No matter what he did or who he went to, the date of his death grew closer and closer.

Even now, when he wasn't doing anything right now, he'd have about two years before Rudeus came to kill him.

If he did something, those two years would be reduced to months or days.

This simple fact left Hitogami not knowing what to do, even Orsted himself does not present as serious a threat to him as Rudeus.

All these facts made Hitogami become completely desperate without knowing what to do or how to do it.

In his millennia of existence he would never have mattered. In his millennia of existence r He has never felt so threatened and oppressed as he does with Rudeus.

"What do you want Darius?..." Hitogami

asked without even trying to look at him.

Darius gulped at this and sweat began to run from his forehead.

"Lord Hitogami...I think you've already seen it, right? But there's a problem in the human world...a boy...named Rudeus Greyrat, he's going to marry the brat Philips Boreas Greyrat! That threatens the kingdom's circle of power!, and we can't let that happen!...so please...tell me what I should do Lord Hitogami..." Darius murmured while bowing.

Hitogami barely glanced at him and then looked back at the ground and fell to his knees.

"There's nothing we can do..." Hitogami said with a sigh and Darius felt as if his body went numb.

"I'll tell you something Darius, you better treat that Rudeus well or else your days will be numbered...you can even help him take over the Boreas faction..."

By this point Darius couldn't believe what he was hearing but he contained his anger as best he could.

"b-but Lord Hitogami...that bastard...that bastard Rudeus! We have reasons to believe that he could be allied with Princess Ariel! We can't let him take the throne!" Darius shouted angrily and Hitogami frowned.

"I see you're not understanding me...if you have someone who can defeat the Magic God then you're free to try!"

"W-what?!, the G-Magic God?!..." Darius squealed, years ago the rapid changes in the poses of the world powers caused a stir throughout the world.

It was even rumored that Millis's desire was because of the Magic God, but obviously these were just rumors and nothing confirmed.

"My Lord Hitogami...b-but what does the Magic God have to do with?..." Darius muttered before he froze and the pieces fell into place in his mind.

[1st World Power...Magic Fighting God Rudeus...currently called the Dragon God]

"R-really?...are that same Rudeus and Rudeus Greyrat really the same person?!" Darius exclaimed with terror visible on his face.

Hitogami didn't respond instead he shrugged on the ground and let out a long sigh.

Darius felt as if a huge force was pressing on his chest, he had never felt so terrified until now.

"So...he can't be stopped?..." Darius muttered with barely contained anger and despair.

"You better keep a low profile from now on." The latter was the worst confirmation Darius could get.

"I-I see..." He muttered in response.

Immediately Darius felt as if his head was being crushed and lost consciousness.

When he woke up he was in his room, his bed was completely soaked with sweat and his heart was beating at more than 200 beats per second.

But still his mind was just reliving that encounter with Hitogami.

"Rudeus Greyrat...is he the Dragon God?!" Darius shouted angrily as he got out of bed.

Everything he had fought and worked for was being destroyed before his eyes and he could do nothing.

If that was true, not even Reida could do anything against him.

And for the first time in decades, Darius felt powerless and completely scared of what was about to happen.

But still, he forced himself to calm down and screamed at the top of his lungs.

"Prepare my gala suit!"

Less than a minute later one of his butlers burst into the room and offered an oversized black suit to Darius.

Darius reluctantly took it and went to take a shower to look presentable.

"At least I'll try to leave a good impression on him...I mustn't let him find out that I was the one who sent those assassins those two times!" He swore in his mind.

Literally his life depended on it.

...

It turned out that the place where Eris was staying was a small house on the outskirts of Ars. Due to her family's delicate political position, they can't afford to be in the noble areas of the city. This seemed like a joke to me, but at the same time, it made sense.

When news of the Mana disaster reached the capital, the main Boreas faction didn't hesitate for a second to use this as a scapegoat to remove the noble positions of my father-in-law, Philip, and Saurus. Fortunately, with Ariel's help, their positions will return once she takes the throne. For now, they will announce the wedding of two possible heirs from the Greyrat factions in the largest Millis church in the city.

Nothing suspicious, right?

Well, leaving that aside, when Hilda was finally able to recover from our "exercises," she put on a beautiful and modest wine-colored dress that highlighted her gorgeous curves.

Eris, on the other hand, only changed her wet panties, and with wind magic, we dried her dress.

After that, Hilda, Eris, and Philip headed toward the city center. Saurus was already at the church receiving the nobles. It was obvious he was the representative. After all, the authority Philip can offer on his own is almost nonexistent.

I was surprised to see that Philip was able to get a luxurious carriage amidst all the political chaos in the city.

This also helped me find out how the people of Millis get married.

The weddings with my other wives were registered with the mayors of Sharia, but this would obviously be different because we're putting on a show.

And I could also see that weddings here are almost nothing like the weddings in my other world.

Here, the grooms can see the bride put on her dress without any problems. They both have to arrive at the church at the same time and walk down the aisle hand in hand.

There's no such thing as "you may kiss the bride." Instead, it's a kiss on the forehead, and instead of rings, here they're golden bracelets...

Yes, a little confusing.

And unlike me, who didn't care at all about this media circus, Eris, on the other hand, was blushing, her head bowed, and a beautiful smile never leaving her face.

'Today...today, finally...finally, I'll marry Rudy! I'm so happy!' she repeated to herself in her mind while holding my hand, but not daring to look at me. This had lasted a couple of days.

Her usual fierce personality had changed to that of a scared, submissive kitten.

Not that I was complaining, but I knew that on our wedding night, I'd have to use my dragon aura to endure her feelings.

"Rudeus, Eris, we've arrived," Philip said suddenly, and the carriage stopped.

Eris shuddered slightly, but I squeezed her hand, which made her relax a little.

"Fuuuu...thank you...dear," she murmured, raising her face and staring at me.

When our gazes met, she shuddered violently and looked away again.

"Okay, lovebirds, get out and get married!" Hilda said with a mocking smile directed at her daughter.

Eris couldn't help but groan at her mother's teasing, but she still got out of the carriage, and then I did.

"The bride and groom have arrived at the chapel!" a voice inside the church announced, and everyone sitting in the pews turned to look at us.

The reactions were as expected.

The noblewomen blushed and became completely wet just by looking at me. Others cast envious glances at Eris, which made her smile even more.

The men, for their part, were immediately intimidated by the sight of me and gritted their teeth at the beauty I was about to marry, but one glance from me was enough for them to look away from Eris and curl up on their benches in fear.

"I can't believe it... I never thought Lord Rudeus would be so handsome!"

"Kyaa!! I never thought there would be a nobleman that handsome!"

"That lucky bastard... what I would do to a woman with those tits..."

"That woman has a scary face..."

The murmurs from the nobles were immediate, but I wasn't fazed at all. After all, this was Eris's special day, and I had no plans to ruin it.

"Good, now you two walk down the aisle together," Hilda whispered in my ear, and I nodded.

She and Philip would follow behind us and sit in the front rows, being family of the bride.

I could also see that all my wives and family were already in the front rows.

"Eris, come on," I said as I extended my hand for her to take.

"Y-yes!" She squealed in embarrassment and hugged my arm tightly, her face completely flushed.

So the two of us entered the church and began walking down the red carpet that led us to the altar.

A priest from the chapel was waiting for us there, and when he saw me, he couldn't help but shudder.

So Eris and I arrived at the altar and looked at each other. Eris couldn't hold it back and began to cry softly with joy, which moved me tremendously.

On the right bench in the front row, my mother watched all this with a smile and couldn't help but hold back her tears. Hilda and Lilia were in the same situation.

Apparently, my mere presence moved them to tears, and they were also happy to have another woman in the harem.

"Sylphie... wouldn't you like a wedding like that? You'll be next, after all," Hope whispered in the elven girl's ear, causing her to shudder slightly.

Her bell-like green hair reached her shoulders, a style Rudeus had suggested, and she had kept it that way for years.

Until recently, she had kept her fetish a secret until she plucked up the courage to tell Rudeus. To her surprise, he accepted without a dirty look and invited her to watch him fuck Hope.

But now she wanted a wedding like that? She pressed her lips together slightly, not knowing how to respond, but when she looked at Rudeus, Eris, and the crowd, she shook her head slightly.

"No, Mom... I have my own idea of where I want to get married," she said with a slight smile as she blushed.

Hope, beside her, only raised an eyebrow at this but said nothing more.

After all, her daughter's happiness would always come first, and she felt guilty for marrying Rudeus before her.

Laws, two rows behind his ex-wife and daughter, looked at Rudeus with a look of longing. Having separated from Hope had freed him to love Rudeus, and he had made that clear to her many times.

"I just hope he can love me back..." he muttered silently to himself.

Elinalise, beside him, only raised an eyebrow and sighed in resignation.

"Fellow followers of Millis! We gather here today to celebrate the marriage of Eris Boreas Greyrat and Rudeus Greyrat! May Saint Millis be with you through thick and thin, in sickness and in health, in wealth and poverty! May your union last until death and may it never be destroyed by intruders!" The father began his speech.

The lesser nobles were captivated by this, but the greater houses simply looked on as if it were the most routine thing they had ever seen, and it was true.

So after about ten minutes of the speech, the father fixed his gaze on us.

He didn't dare look at me, and he only looked at Eris from the forehead up to avoid my fury.

"Eris Boreas Greyrat! Do you accept Rudeus Greyrat as your lawful husband for all eternity?!"

"Yes, I do!" She said excitedly as she looked into my eyes.

"And you?! Rudeus Greyrat! Do you accept Eris Boreas Greyrat as your lawful wife for all eternity?!"

"Yes," I said firmly.

"It's decided! By the power that Saint Millis has conferred upon me, I pronounce you husband and wife! The bride may kiss the groom!" At the priest's words, I bowed slightly so Eris could kiss my forehead.

Applause erupted throughout the chapel, and Eris pounced on me, kissing me deeply with her tongue.

"I pronounce you Lord and Lady Boreas Greyrat!" The father said and the ceremony was thus concluded and I gained a new wife.
