"Well, Kyōraku Callum!" Shiba Kūkaku greeted him, seemingly unfazed by the previous day's events.
There was no trace of dejection on her face.
"It's been a few years," Kyōraku Callum began, offering words of gentle reassurance. "Don't worry."
Shiba Kūkaku's eyes immediately brightened, a smile gracing her pretty face.
"Oh, I haven't mentioned a thing," she replied, her tone light and teasing.
Kyōraku Callum sighed, a touch of helplessness in his voice. "I'm here for something else. We'll have visitors soon."
Shiba Kūkaku nodded, understanding dawning on her face.
"That batch of Ryoka," she confirmed. "Didn't you say yesterday I should use the Kakaku Taihō cannon to send them into the Seireitei?"
Kyōraku Callum explained, "That's not all. There's something else I forgot to mention."
In Kyōraku Callum's presence, Shiba Kūkaku's usually boisterous personality was noticeably subdued. She appeared unusually composed and quiet.
"One of the Ryoka is named Kurosaki Ichigo," he revealed. "He's Kurosaki Isshin's son."
A look of puzzled inquiry appeared on Shiba Kūkaku's face.
Kyōraku Callum furrowed his brow slightly, his expression becoming somewhat enigmatic. "And this Kurosaki Isshin… his former name was Shiba Isshin."
Shiba Kūkaku's face registered shock and disbelief.
"That's… impossible?" she exclaimed. "Uncle Isshin… he wasn't…"
Kyōraku Callum shifted a teacup on the table, his voice measured and deliberate.
"For reasons I'll explain later, Shiba Isshin fell in love with a human and had a child. That child is among this group of Ryoka."
Shiba Kūkaku fell into deep thought, her slender fingers tracing patterns on the table.
"I understand," she said after a moment. "You want me to feign ignorance of all this, correct?"
A smile played on Kyōraku Callum's lips. "As insightful as ever, Kūkaku".
The main reason is this fellow bears a striking resemblance to Kaien. "If we don't give them a heads-up, it could lead to an unwanted exposure."
Shiba Kūkaku nodded, her understanding complete. "I understand!"
As soon as she spoke, the room's clock suddenly chimed nine times, signaling that it was already nine o'clock in the morning.
Kyōraku Callum glanced at the clock, a knowing smile spreading across his face. "Someone's about to have a very bad day," he murmured.

A series of thundering footsteps echoed from above, like the prelude to an earthquake, accompanied by startled shouts.
"Bonnie, stop!"

A scream was abruptly cut short. With a loud crash, Bonnie collided with a tree, and Shiba Ganju crashed into a pig.
Shiba Kūkaku was speechless, utterly at a loss for words to describe her brother's astonishingly clumsy feat.
Even if you equipped Bonnie with four-wheel drive, it was still, after all, just a wild boar!

Inside the room, Shiba Kūkaku delivered a swift, powerful punch to Shiba Ganju's head.
"Even though Big Brother is the head of the family now, I, as your older sister, still retain the authority to discipline you," she declared.
"Your tardiness today will be duly noted and dealt with later!"
Shiba Ganju clutched his head, attempting to muffle his sobs, particularly under Kyōraku Callum's observant gaze.
"Don't hold it in," Kyōraku Callum said, a light smile playing on his lips.
"Cry if you need to."
"No!" Shiba Ganju declared, his voice filled with stubborn defiance.
"A man does not weep!"
Under the black cat, Yoruichi's guidance, Kurosaki Ichigo and his companions finally arrived at the Shiba residence. The unusual architecture left them momentarily speechless, struggling to find words of praise.
Koganehiko and Shiroganehiko, recognizing Yoruichi, offered no obstruction and allowed them to enter without delay.
After traversing the lengthy staircase, the group finally reached their destination.
"Y-y-you…" Kurosaki Ichigo stammered, his words halting in surprise.
Kyōraku Callum calmly swirled the tea in his cup, his demeanor utterly composed and at ease.
"Compose yourself before speaking," he said, his voice measured and calm.
Kurosaki Ichigo took several deep breaths, striving to regain his composure.
The sight of Kyōraku Callum here was profoundly unsettling.
If he were to attack, Kurosaki Ichigo felt their escape would be exceedingly difficult, if not impossible.
"This is my fiancée's home," Kyōraku Callum stated, setting down his teacup and looking directly at Kurosaki Ichigo.
"Why shouldn't I be here?"
Upon hearing this, Kurosaki Ichigo and his companions immediately turned their attention towards the black cat on the floor.
The cat sighed, a clear expression of weariness and exasperation on its face. Life, it seemed, was indeed challenging.
"That, however, is quite true," the cat said, leaping nimbly onto Kyōraku Callum's shoulder and nuzzling against his cheek.
"While I confess to a certain level of disappointment, Kūkaku beat me to it. There's nothing more I can do about it."
For a moment, Kurosaki Ichigo and his companions were rendered speechless, utterly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of unexpected information.
Their minds struggled to process the implications of what they had just heard.
"Ha, Yoruichi, you haven't changed a bit!" Kyōraku Callum chuckled, his amusement evident.
