You know what? Fine—I am here to steal. Just tell me what you want. How do I get you to let me go? Fang Yi sighed and admitted defeat.
"I knew you were here to steal! You almost made me doubt it, but I'm too clever for that! I am Celestial Dragon Tiffany Palace, and no one fools me!" the little girl crowed cheerfully.
"Tiffany Palace" is how female Celestial Dragons refer to themselves—it's a title as lofty as "Mer." They consider themselves gods above all races. They even wear bubble helmets so they don't share common air with lowly civilians.
"Well then, Great Tiffany Palace! Tell me how to make you let me go," Fang Yi replied, his tone resigned.
Tiffany Palace didn't appear in any original story or intel from Shakky—Fang Yi had no background on her. He readied himself for backup aggression if needed.
"Hee hee hee! I want you to join me in stealing me! That'll be so much fun—no one dares do this!" Tiffany laughed.
At first, Fang Yi was stunned. She wanted him to be her partner in theft? A little princess leading a heist seemed so surreal—and risky. Yet he realized quickly that having her along might be a safeguard—or at least leverage.
A captive princess could always become a bargaining chip.
"Um… sure, as long as you follow my lead," Fang Yi hustled.
"Your lead?" Tiffany frowned, unwilling—or maybe out of pride at being told what to do.
"You're a Celestial Dragon, aren't you?" Fang Yi laid it out: "Everything here is yours. Why steal it? You could just walk out, and no guard would dare stop you."
Tiffany thought it over, then nodded. "So… I'd hide my identity?"
"Yes! You'd appear as my partner—an equal—and we'd just be thieves. That way you'd truly understand the feeling."
"And… this is your home, right?" Fang Yi added. "Stealing your things is kind of pointless."
Tiffany grinned. "Then… we should steal from Commeracco! That treasure belongs to him, not to me, so it feels fair!"
Hearing him confirm she already had luxury treasure gave her resolve.
"I planned to sell the treasure if we got it—all so I could raise money to treat my father, who's sick. Would you share some of the treasure with me?" Fang Yi added earnestly.
"Huh? Your father is sick? Is it serious?" Tiffany looked concerned, but curiosity glinted in her eyes.
Fang Yi kept up the act. "Yes. I need to earn a lot of Berries quickly for treatment. That's why I agreed to this risky theft."
Tiffany tilted her head and smiled. She didn't care about his motives—this was just a game to her. If stealing the treasure meant fun, then it was worth doing.
She offered help: "If we steal the treasure, I'll have your father brought to me, and I'll treat him."
"And you're a doctor too, Tiffany Palace?" Fang Yi feigned surprise.
"Hah, the best things are in Mariejois—even doctors are top class," she said proudly.
"Thank you so much!" Fang Yi feigned gratitude.
She laughed. "You're so fun! Maybe you and your father should become my slaves when this is done. I heard there's a Legendary doctor slave—some Celestial Dragons purposely injure their slave so the doctor can heal them!"
"Oh? A Legendary doctor? Do you know where he is?" Fang Yi's eyes lit up.
"You dumb human," Tiffany retorted. "He comes when I call him—wherever he is. That's the rule."
Fang Yi thought he hit the jackpot. She had just confirmed that this doctor existed—and was summoned only by Celestial Dragon command. That's precisely the lead they needed.
Tiffany then sketched a more detailed map of the palace for him. They fled the room and crept toward Commeracco's living area.
Halfway there, Tiffany grew tired and demanded Fang Yi carry her. Begrudgingly, he lifted her.
Despite her rest, Tiffany remained confident—she knew the guards and routines well. Fang Yi suspected she had longed for this kind of mischief, and perhaps had been looking for someone brave enough to pull this off.
Together, they reached Commeracco's quarters. Tiffany cautioned: "These rooms are heavily guarded. Good luck!"
But Fang Yi was focused—his real mission: find Buggy and Shanks, and most importantly, locate the Surgery Fruit user.
Tiffany suggested capturing a guard to interrogate.
"No—that's risky," Fang Yi shook his head. "Plain guards wouldn't know the vault location. And if we knock them out, the alarms will blow."
Tiffany, thrilled by the idea of treasure theft, seemed disappointed—but she agreed to move on.
Not long after, they stumbled into a treasure chamber packed with gold, jewels, artifacts, and luxury items.
"This must be it!" Fang Yi whispered.
Tiffany stepped forward, unimpressed: "All this? And you call it treasure? I have plenty of this at home—it's just storage for odds and ends."
Fang Yi felt a twinge of humility. To most, this was unheard-of wealth… and yet she dismissed it as mundane.
