Luna was completely immersed.
The light from the screen reflected in her eyes as her champion, Lux, floated in the middle of the lane. Every movement was meticulously calculated.
The energetic beat of a K-Pop group exploded in her headphones with reinforced bass, synchronized with the precise clicks of a neon pink-toned custom mechanical keyboard.
Dressed in athletic shorts, a black tank top, and her hair tied in a messy bun, Luna looked like the least corporate CEO on the planet—but there, in that virtual arena... she was a goddess of war.
The scoreboard was unfair.
Enemies: 5 Challengers.
Her team: 4 Diamonds and her, Grandmaster.
One of them had typed in chat before the match: "Ez win, only one GM. Gonna be a stomp."
Oh, poor thing.
Luna smirked. "Let's see who stomps who..."
On Discord, her teammates were in tense silence, until Luna decided to take the reins.
"Listen. We're swapping lanes, baiting vision at dragon, and pulling Baron at 25. I'll hold mid. Don't push without my call."
One of the players, clearly the jungler, hesitated. "But... you're support..."
"I'm the only one here who sees the map as a chessboard, darling. Now focus and follow."
Silence.
They obeyed.
The game transformed.
Luna's Lux was more than a long-range mage—she was celestial artillery. Q + E + R chain always on point, catching even the enemy ADC by surprise behind walls.
The map began to change color—offensive wards took over the enemy jungle.
"Top, hold the wave and don't die. Jungle, fake Baron. ADC, just give me cover."
Quadra kill.
"Wooooooo! This Lux is possessed!" shouted one of the players in the call.
"Not possessed," Luna said calmly. "Just a tired businesswoman releasing stress."
The match lasted 38 minutes, and at the end: Victory.
MVP: LUX – Luna (17/2/21)
Damage dealt: 64% of the team
Luna took off the headset with a satisfied sigh, the music still echoing through the room. She leaned back in her gamer chair, taking a sip of glittery, shimmering pink energy drink.
"Now that's better than therapy."
As she looked over the final match stats, she started receiving dozens of friend requests and messages:
"Are you Luna Malroth???"
"CEO and Lux GM??? Marry me."
"I need a tutorial, Goddess."
Luna just laughed. "Being iconic isn't even a choice anymore, huh?"
That's when ÆVA blinked as a hologram on the side of the screen. "Luna-sama, an encrypted message from Nikoly has arrived. Subject: suspicious movements from the company True Beauty."
Luna leaned forward and called Nikoly.
The call didn't even take two seconds—probably the Japanese girl was already connected to five servers and coding with her feet.
"Yo," Luna started casually, stretching her arms.
On the other end, Nikoly appeared on video with light eye bags, holding a neon coffee cup and surrounded by holograms spinning around her like satellites. The AI ÆVA floated silently beside her, fully functional.
"They're still trying to invade. Pathetic persistence. Level 2 hackers trying to break into a quantum vault... it's turned into a sport," Nikoly said, sounding bored.
"Then just block them and relax, okay? Don't stress over those losers. They won't be able to do anything real. Diamante Tycoon has exclusivity in the Phoenix Empire now, and we've got official imperial backing. They're just barking outside the walls."
Nikoly made a dramatic face. "And me? Working until 3 AM, coding AI, updating ZERØPHAGE, optimizing internal routes, auditing logs... Luna, I deserve a vacation, girl."
Luna let out a light laugh, resting her chin in her hand. "Okay, Nik. Two days. Two paid days off, spa included, flying sushi, happy now? Pass the chaos to the company's IT for now. They've got brains... sort of."
Nikoly flashed a victory sign and hung up with a "going to sleep now!" before even properly saying thanks.
Luna yawned. "Idiots trying to mess with my already chaotic life... and I just wanted to rank up."
Back to the game, the League of Legends client opened with a flashy glow.
Luna saw new event passes, luxurious skins, and limited bundles had been released. Without thinking twice, she clicked:
Buy all?
[V] Confirm payment – US$ 1,300
"Aesthetics are power."
The match load screen appeared. Solo queue again.
Upon role selection:
Assigned role: SUPPORT
"Of course it is..." Luna huffed.
With her mic on, she said, "Anyone wanna swap? I'm a mid main... support is divine punishment."
The mid player replied with a heart emoji and, "Take mid then, goddess "
"Finally, someone enlightened."
Luna clicked on Ahri, the Nine-Tailed Fox, and chose her favorite skin: Celestial Queen Ahri—radiant, crowned, with glowing pink and gold particles.
"Time to shine."
The K-Pop music automatically switched to a more sensual beat—the perfect soundtrack for a mystical massacre in Summoner's Rift.
The game was loading.
But something on the loading screen caught her attention.
Enemy nickname: [WǔYán – 龙皇]
She frowned. "Wait. That nickname is super famous..."
Ivy, who was integrated even into League, appeared as a mini hologram beside the screen.
"Confirmed. Chinese pro player. Real name: Han Wu Yan. Starting mid laner for LPL champion team — Azure Dragons. Currently in the US for the Mid-Season Invitational. Streaming now with 20 million people watching."
"MILLIONS?! OH MY GOD, I'M ON GLOBAL TWITCH!" Luna held back a scream like a surprised gamer princess.
The game began.
Ahri versus Sylas, Lunar Blood skin.
The two champions faced off mid lane with the tension of an ancestral duel.
Minions spawn. First wave.
His movement was precise. Surgical mechanics. He canceled auto attacks to farm perfectly. Harassed Luna with his Chains.
But Luna wasn't just any player.
She danced between the minions with millimetric steps, using her Orb of Deception with terrifying precision, cutting down Sylas's HP without mercy.
In the Twitch chat, comments were on fire.
"Who is this Ahri???"
"She's insane!!!"
"GODDESS AHRI???"
"Waifu voice, challenger hands"
Wu Yan seemed to not understand what was happening. He pinged nervously. Tried dives, tried to pressure—but Luna read him like an open book.
At 7 minutes, she went all-in with Flash + E at the exact moment he used his dash.
CHARM. ULT. Q. AUTO.
First Blood.
On the stream, Twitch's camera zoomed on Wu Yan's face—he was speechless, scratching his forehead. "She destroyed me... what kind of goddess plays Ahri like this?"
Luna laughed alone, K-Pop playing in the background, her fingers dancing across the keyboard like a demonic pianist. "Welcome to NA, sweetheart."
In the girls' group chat, she sent:
@SmellOfRainAfterDust: "Ganked a Chinese pro live on global stream. I = legendary."
The match continued, and it wasn't just her crushing — Luna started coordinating the team on Discord.
"Jungle, come dragon in 30. Top, rotate down. Support, invade ward with me."
The team, which at first only said "nice skin," now followed her like soldiers obeying a celestial general.
At 28 minutes, the game ended with a Baron ace and a quadra kill from Luna.
Victory. GG.
Right after, Wu Yan's Twitch exploded with clips mentioning her name.
And more: #MysteryAhri started trending worldwide.
Luna left the match, and 100 friend requests popped up. Team invites. Streamer offers. Everything.
She smiled... and simply clicked "Decline all." "I'm a CEO, honey. My business is something else."
After crushing Wu Yan's ego live worldwide, Luna was relaxing... or trying to.
She opened Spotify.
And there it was.
"What… auditory hell is this in the Top 10?" Luna grumbled, frowning as she listened to dissonant beats, lyrics with the IQ of a rice cracker, and autotune levels capable of summoning a vengeful spirit.
"This is wrong. Criminally wrong."
She called Ivy, who appeared in a hologram holding a holographic coffee just to match the drama.
"Ivy, send an executive notice to Spotify. In the name of shareholder Luna Malroth. I want an immediate audit of the music curation. If I find any shady algorithm, payola, or playlist corruption… I'll reprogram that system with fire."
"Understood. Formal message will be sent in 12 seconds. Would you like a public report as well?"
"Not yet."
Luna sighed. She'd leave the musical chaos for later. Now... it was time for more LoL.
New match. Loading.
Luna got mid again, to her delight.
But her gaze was drawn to the team's ADC: Nickname: [LIS4 – 星光]
Playing Aphelios, with the most luxurious skin possible.
"Hmm... divine skin. Let's see if they can play."
In the first two minutes, the answer came in the form of clicks, reflexes, and supernatural positioning.
Lis4 was smurfing the enemies like she was playing a tutorial.
Perfect kiting, animation canceling, weapon swapping with the reaction time of a military AI.
"This girl… is a monster."
Curious, Luna joined the match's Discord, and soon heard a young and cheerful voice with a European accent.
"Hi! So, team. Let's stomp them, right?"
Luna smiled. "Lisa, right? You're the ADC from Galactic Seed 2 Europe team at MSI, aren't you?"
Lisa froze. "H-H-How do you know that?!"
"Connections. And goddess-level reflexes. Let's win this."
At the end of the match: Victory.
KDA: Lisa – 17/6/8. Luna – 11/1/16.
The team chat was full of praise.
And Luna? Already with another plan in her head.
"Ivy, track Lisa's stream. Find her channel and... send an anonymous donation."
"What amount, Miss?"
"10 million dollars. With the following message: 'For the star who shines like Aphelios. Keep playing. The world needs to see you.'"
Ivy nodded, holographically emotional.
Seconds later, hysterical screams exploded on Lisa's stream. "SOMEONE DONATED 10 MILLION! I'M... I'M... MOM!!!"
The clip went viral on X, TikTok, and other networks (because, of course, Luna owned 10% of them).
Luna simply turned off the monitor with a smirk.
