Prologue: The End of Ordinary

The world was peaceful.

Bustling streets. Laughter echoing across cityscapes.

Even crimes... felt like part of the everyday rhythm in the year 2025.

That's how it was.

My name is Ryon Azamura.

I'm 18 years old.

Just a high school student.

I live in a country called Indonesia, in a place called North Jakarta.

At my age, I was already elected as the student council president.

Yet… despite that, I often got scolded by my mother.

Bad grades, lack of motivation, a burden to the family.

To be honest, I thought that was just... life.

Annoying, repetitive, maybe even pointless at times.

But still—somehow comforting.

I thought it would stay that way for a long time.

But I was wrong.

So terribly wrong.

Because—

Out of nowhere…

A meteor—ripped through Earth's atmosphere.

And everything changed.

The Final Broadcast

> BREAKING NEWS:

Scientists have detected a meteor on a collision course with Earth.

Estimated impact zone: Southeast Asia—Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and surrounding nations.

All citizens are advised to evacuate immediately.

---

The Moment Chaos Began

SIRENS WAILING—

"All civilians, please evacuate to the nearest port or airport. Repeat—this is not a drill!"

The streets exploded into noise—shouting, crying, desperate footsteps.

"Mom! We have to go! To the airport! NOW!!" I shouted, pulling her hand.

We ran.

Faster than we ever had in our lives.

A child tripped beside us, crying for her mother.

I hesitated—but quickly rushed to help.

"Damn it! Mom, hurry! Get on the plane!"

She turned back, eyes wild.

"Ryon, what are you doing?! You get on too!"

The plane's engines roared.

Time was running out.

"Mom, take the child—GO!"

"The hell are you saying?! You'll miss the flight!"

"There's too many people already. It's over capacity!"

"NO! I'm not leaving you behind! I already lost your father… and your brother... I won't lose you too!"

Her voice broke.

Tears welled up, but I smiled through them.

"I'm sorry... but please—live. For me."

"All this time… I just wanted to be a son you could be proud of."

"Maybe this is how I finally prove that."

The crowd surged.

The plane began to rise.

"No! RYON!!"

"Goodbye, Mom… Promise me you'll survive."

I forced a smile—tears trailing down my cheeks.

The plane lifted off.

"RYONNN!!!"

Her voice disappeared into the roar of the engines.

---

I thought that was the end.

The sky above had turned crimson.

The meteor had already breached the clouds, heading straight for us.

My body burned—then went numb.

And slowly…

Darkness swallowed everything.

My sight.

My senses.

My thoughts.

Everything—faded into black.
