Chapter 248 - Mito VS Hashirama

Susanoo is not invincible. The Mangekyo Sharingan is even more so. This was a realization shared by the three people fighting Kazuki.

Back then, Madara's Susanoo was considered the strongest in countless people's hearts.

If it was merely about destructive power, Hashirama himself wasn't confident he could surpass Madara without using that life-draining technique. He simply possessed greater stamina than Madara.

However, in Hashirama's view, Susanoo was not invincible. At the very least, he could smash Susanoo.

Tobirama had fought the Uchiha his entire life, so he was naturally familiar with Susanoo. Izuna had also used Susanoo in front of him back then, but at that time, Izuna's Susanoo was not yet mature, at least lacking in mobility. In any case, Tobirama was confident he could deal with Izuna's Susanoo.

As for Madara's Susanoo, Tobirama had envisioned fighting Madara, and indeed, such a Susanoo was not something he could easily contend with. But Madara's opponent wasn't him.

He could just use the Flying Thunder God Technique to dodge, then summon his elder brother, letting Hashirama fight Madara, while he could try to covertly scheme against Madara. Tobirama had even fantasized about these things.

However, who would have thought that Kazuki would directly use taijutsu to cripple Kagami's Susanoo?

Kagami's Susanoo had, at least, reached its third form, and Kagami in the Edo Tensei state seemingly didn't need to worry about ocular power issues, as if he didn't need to worry about the Mangekyo Sharingan's blindness at all.

Tobirama even couldn't help but wonder if his Edo Tensei was naturally suited for the Uchiha.

What bothered Tobirama the most, however, was that the situation seemed a bit off. Danzo's journey seemed a little too smooth.

Logically speaking, given Danzo's circumstances, it would be very difficult for him to develop Edo Tensei to this extent.

Moreover, his and his elder brother's strength had reached 80% of their peak, so logically, they should be able to resist. This was not a difficult task for Tobirama. But Edo Tensei's vessels seemed to have undergone special processing, making them unable to break free from Edo Tensei.

This was not something Danzo could have done. He knew Danzo's capabilities very well.

Combined with the fact that Madara was very likely still alive, Tobirama couldn't help but suspect that Madara might be behind all of this.

At the same time, Tobirama was even more furious with Danzo for his lack of ambition. He had previously thought that Danzo could become Hiruzen's right-hand man and a pillar of Konoha. But now, Danzo had been unknowingly used by Madara.

Perhaps by now, Madara must be laughing crazily?

After Kazuki kicked Kagami away, he then caught Hashirama's powerful punch, and for a moment, their fists clashed.

"It's almost time."

Suddenly, a meaningful smile appeared on Kazuki's face.

He then kicked Hashirama away and looked at the eager Tobirama, curiously surveying his surroundings.

Like Tobirama, Kazuki also didn't believe that Danzo could have done this. It was obvious that this was probably Black Zetsu's or Madara's doing.

As for the difficulty of learning the Edo Tensei, he believed it wouldn't be difficult for these two.

Black Zetsu himself was a creation of Kaguya, so researching Edo Tensei wouldn't be particularly difficult.

As for Madara, he had now learned the creation of all things and awakened the Rinnegan, so researching Edo Tensei wouldn't be very difficult either.

Kazuki would not deny Madara's genius. Just like Kazuki himself, if he wanted to master Edo Tensei, the difficulty wouldn't be great.

Shortly after Kazuki's words fell, another Kazuki appeared, and beside him was a graceful woman with long red hair.

"Mito!"

"Sister-in-law!"

"Mito-sama!"

Hiruzen hadn't expected Kazuki to call Mito.

Was this a battle Mito could participate in?

If he didn't know that the relationship between Kazuki and Mito was like that of a grandson and grandmother and Kazuki would never harm Mito, he would have suspected Kazuki of having ulterior motives.

Soon, Hiruzen felt relieved.

Kazuki brought Mito not to help in the battle, but to let her see Hashirama.

If he himself were old and his wife had passed away long ago, he would probably want to see her one last time before dying, right?

Bah, Biwako is going to live a long life, how could she pass away so much earlier than him?

After stepping down from the Hokage position, he will enjoy his retirement with Biwako in the village.

Kazuki's actions, although somewhat rebellious, were the best arrangement for both Mito and Hashirama.

"Hashirama, Tobirama!"

Mito was full of nostalgia upon seeing the two of them.

Perhaps Hashirama and Tobirama felt like not much time had passed, but for Mito, decades had gone by.

"Yes. Long time no see, Mito, you've gotten old." Hashirama sighed, his words shocking.

Although Mito stood before him in her youthful appearance, Hashirama could feel that she was already old and frail. She was merely maintaining her current appearance through special means.

Thinking of this, Hashirama's gaze towards Kazuki held a hint of reproach.

Was such a battle something Mito could participate in?

What if something unexpected happened to Mito and Nine-Tails ran out?

Konoha would be in trouble then.

"You're still the same, Hashirama." Mito clenched her fists and said through gritted teeth.

They should have been very excited to meet each other. Instead, he said that she had gotten old.

How could Mito accept that?

Indeed, Hashirama, only had Madara in his heart.
