Orion City – In Ruins
Buildings smoldered. Sirens wailed. The Nova Rangers stood battered but unbroken, facing down their own teammate—Lyra, twisted by the corrupted Nova Shard.
Kael (pleading): "Lyra, I know you're in there. You feel it—don't you?"
She lunged again, blade flashing. Kael blocked, barely.
🟦 Zayn stepped in next—
"The rhythm in your strikes hasn't changed. You're holding back. That means you're still you."
She faltered—just a beat.
🟨 Rayna: "You're not just our fighter. You're our heart."
⚫ Jett (half-smiling): "Don't make me say something sappy. It's gross. Just… come back, Pink."
Lyra's hands shook. Her blade dropped an inch.
The corrupted shard around her neck pulsed violently. Her eyes went wide.
Lyra (whispering): "…Kael?"Kael (stepping forward): "Right here."
She screamed—fighting back from inside—and light burst from her chest in a pulse of pink and black.
Above – Sky Fortress Platform
⚔️ Veyra faced Synkris on the shattered remains of a broken satellite tower.
The corrupted Sentinel smiled coldly.
Synkris: "I warned them. They didn't listen. And now they burn."
Veyra (drawing blade): "No. They shine. You're the only one who fell."
They clashed—steel and energy lighting the sky in a storm of violet and gold.
Back on the Ground
Lyra dropped to her knees, the corrupted shard cracking. The black mist lifted from her armor. The team surrounded her.
Lyra (weak smile): "You helped me remember… who I was."
But above them, Synkris screamed and released a shockwave that threw Veyra from the sky. Thankfully she was not injured.
Synkris (furious): "Next time… I'll tear your team apart."
She vanished into the void.
