Morning, Two Days Later
Eren woke later than usual, only to be roused by the sound of relentless knocking at his door. He groaned, rubbed his eyes, and opened it with clear irritation already settling on his face.
And there stood the last person he wished to see this early.
The Blue Silver Pig himself, Tang San, greeted him in that usual dull tone, "Eren, what are you doing? Didn't Grandpa say we're leaving in an hour? Don't oversleep. Be ready."
He didn't wait for a response, nor did he even glance back after speaking. Like a mechanical puppet, he turned and walked off.
Eren stood there, staring at the empty space where Tang San had stood.
His voice dropped to a cold mutter.
"Tang San... you have chosen the path of deserving death."
Without another word, he stepped back inside, took out his book and pen, and began writing:
[An hour from now, Tang San will suffer from unstoppable diarrhea lasting ten minutes.]
Satisfied, he closed the book and began his usual routine, washing up, dressing, and summoning his gourmet tablecloth for a quick breakfast. When everything was ready, he activated his phantom mark and teleported directly to Xiran's house.
As expected, she was already waiting for him inside.
Today, she wore a soft green outfit trimmed with pink, her long ponytail tied neatly with a matching pink ribbon. Her expression clearly asked, "How do I look?"
Eren gave a slight nod and, without withholding his praise, said, "You look good. The colors suit you."
The compliment made her cheeks flush faintly, but her gaze was steady and proud. Her hands clenched slightly with resolve.
"Next time... I'll make a full pink dress." she thought, more determined than ever.
Without wasting any more time, Eren placed his hand on her shoulder, and with a blink, they both disappeared, reappearing instantly in Holy Soul Village, just inside Eren's house.
"You remember what to say, right?" Eren asked as they stood at his doorstep. "You're my friend, and you're going to Nuoding Academy with me. Just follow along."
Xīrán nodded quietly.
But that wasn't the end of it.
For the next ten minutes, Eren lectured her with dead seriousness, not about studying or making friends, but about one thing only: secrecy.
"Never reveal your Martial Soul," he said firmly. "Blue Silver Grass. That's what you awakened. That's all anyone needs to know. No one will bother checking deeper anyway."
He narrowed his eyes slightly. "And if someone does come looking for trouble... don't hesitate. Kill them. I'll clean up the aftermath. No one will trace it back to you."
Xīrán nodded again, this time with a bit of resolve in her gaze. She already understood the necessity of keeping her power hidden. And if someone forced her hand, she would show no mercy.
With that, the two stepped out and began walking toward Tang San's house. Old Jack had said he would meet them there for their departure to Nuoding Academy.
When they arrived, they found the old man standing at the front gate, sighing with a troubled face.
Eren tilted his head. "Old Jack, what's the matter? Why the long face?"
The old man glanced at them, then chuckled helplessly. "We were about to fetch you both, but just as we were leaving, little San here… well, he suddenly soiled himself. He is in the toilet for ten minutes now, offering his gift to nature."
Eren managed to keep a straight face, but a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.
Xīrán, however, couldn't contain herself.
"Pfft, Haahha! He's already that big and still poops his pants? That's hilarious!"
Right on cue, Tang San emerged from his house with an awkward expression.
"I'm ready, Grandpa Jack," he muttered, trying his best to ignore Xīrán's teasing gaze.
Jack stroked his beard and turned to Eren. "Little Eren, and who's this young lady with you? A friend?"
Eren nodded. "Yes, she's awakened her Martial Soul too and is joining Nuoding Academy. She'll come with us."
Old Jack nodded thoughtfully. "One more child won't be any trouble. As long as she's serious about cultivation, she's welcome."
Tang San cast a curious glance toward Xīrán, subtly wondering about her Martial Soul and spirit level, but chose not to ask. He had his manners, at least.
With everyone ready, the small group finally set off toward Nuoding City.
The path was quiet at first. As they walked along the road, Tang San began asking Old Jack questions about the academy, about Martial Souls, and anything else his curious mind could reach. Old Jack did his best to answer, sometimes with certainty, sometimes only repeating what he had heard from others.
Eventually, he mentioned something that caught everyone off-guard.
"There's been a strange rumor circulating lately," he said with a chuckle. "Apparently, a soul master named Chen Xin, yes, he is very famous and strong soul master and is now being called 'Pedophile Douluo.'"
All three children froze in step.
Tang San was stunned, not because of the name, but because someone actually dared to start such a rumor about a Title Douluo.
Xīrán had to cover her mouth to hide the twitch in her lips. She had her own suspicions about who was behind it.
Eren, on the other hand, looked ahead calmly, but the faintest glimmer of amusement flickered in his eyes.
He had only written a single line in his book—but now, it seemed, all of Nuoding was already buzzing.
