The sun in Hayan town shined brightly with the town's people with their usual errands walking around and many new buildings and vendor shop opening more and more.
people in the town were slowly increasing with the popularity of the commoners dessert and the relaxing hot spring's popularity still the top attraction of the town. meanwhile Free in his new mansion was chewing on the feather, a increase in tax was needed as per Jorik's claim.
"The toen's population is increasing each day, so we need to increase the tax from five to ten oercent max" was what Jorik said when he came to Free, informing that a new family have moved in the town.
"Should i increase it by nine? No no no" he muttered.
"Six? eight? maybe four percent?" he muttered, the documents on the tax still laid flst on the table, even with monthly 1 silver coin tax, it wasn't too high nor too low, the growth in population was increasing fast, but demand weren't a concern, yet.
Knock! Knock!. "Come in" Free replied.
the door creak open and Elina peeked inside, tea in a tray and her new dress glinting with every step she took.
"Today too?" She asked, staring at the pile of documents and scroll mounted on the wide desk, Free let out a tired exhale and sip his cup of tea.
"Yeah, with the new title as a noble amd the village officially being a tkwn, the work is more complicated and hard" he added, taking another sip, and glancing a little at the documents "...But not enough to take my half day" he muttered.
KNOCK!!!!! KNOCK!!! KNOCK!!!. A loud knock came from the door. "Hey! don't nreak the door!!!" Elina yelled, the loud knock died dowm and the large door creaked open amd Sylvia entered inside the room. "B-B-big sis! w-why were you k-knocking so loud?! a-amd i'm sorry for yelling at you!!" Elina quickly apologized.
"No worries" Sylvia replied with a joyful smile patting her head and in her hand there was a letter that didn't gone unnoticed by Free.
"What's that in you hand?" he asked, Sylvia quickly nodded and handed it to him, Free checks it and froze, it was embedded with royal sigil of Daelon Family, a personal letter sended by the king of Daelon kingdom.
"Big brother, what is in it?" Elina asked, trying to take a peek at the letter.
Free quicjly tore open the letter and there was a silence for a minute in the room. "The king wants to have an audience with me, now" words finally escape from his mouth, and Sylvia fidgets with her fingers.
"B-but how, even though it takes only half day but it will be evening by the time you reach the capital" Elina said with her face pale and staring at the path in the garden.
"Oh no, the king actually mention that i should come using the skyboard" he added flatly, showing her the handwriting of the king and the words where it was mentioned.
"O-oh" Elina said, trying to laugh it off(of course that didn't work).
"You should go after lunch" Sylvia adviced amd Free gave a instant nod, and lock in to finishong his work before lunch or else he will have to do it after returning from the capital.
Afternoon, middke of the day
during the lunch, Free was eating lunch with Lina standing firmly with her back straight and posture relaxed, Iris on the opposite of the table with bruises on her face(she got during spar with Hinata) was gulping food like she hasn't eaten for days, Hinata on the other hand was glaring at the celery like it owe her money and Hina on the other hand....had already finished her meal.
"Hinata, finish your celery" Free ordered, but Hinata pushed the celery away with a pout.
"No! you always give me a celery and i don't like it!" she yelled, Sylvia flinched but Free pointed his spoon at her with a noble elegance.
"Because you are peeky about food and i'm not" he added with a dissapointed look on his face and she pouted running off to Sylvia.
"Uwaaaah, Sylvia! big brother is bullying me!!" she faked her cry, hugging Sylvia's lap, Sylvia tried to resist knowing Hinata is faking her cry, but it didn't lasg long before she gave up.
"Free, c-can't you give Hinata small portion of c-celery from n-now on" she added, Free tried to reson with it but he gave a small nod with a sigh, and Hinata's face could be seen with a smirk after the lunch.
"Damn you Hinata" he muttered, chewing on his spoon a little harder.
"Lord Free, please don't chew on the spoon and your rings are glowing, please restraing them from breaking things" Lina warned, standing behind him firmly, Free quickly panics noticing the rings shininh in his arms. he quickly calm down and their glow starts to fade.
after Iris finish her lunch, she stands firmly in the garden, her physical pressure rising over the trees and creating a tense and thick atmosphere combined with her fire spell, flames start to rise from beneath her feet.
[Flame sprint] her steps were fast, too fast for normal people to see as she ran around the garden with the grass getting on fire.
"Now this is what i call control!!!!!!" she yelled running around the garden with her loud laugh and smug grin until. Fwop. fwooosh. thud. she fell face first into the garden.
"Still too predictable!!" Hinata laughed proudly and smugly. "You are too weak to dodge even my basic attacks!" she said while laughing in Iris's face which made Iris face to get red in anger. "Train mo- Owwww" someone smack her in the head. "What was that for!!!!????".
"For being too smug and insulting someone's hardwork" Free wisely said eith his skyboard in hand, Hinata in anger extended her fist, ready to land a hard punch but.
"Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!" her hand hits the barrier that Free summoned using sorcery magic.
"How's that?" Iris whispered, letting out a mocking giggle which only fueled Honata's frustration.
"I'm now leaving, don't spread any more chaos you already did" he added, strapping his foot to the skyboard and ascends into the sky with wind magic hitting the ground, making dust flew all around the garden.
"Now let's see what awaits" he muttered, before speeding to the Capital city of Daelon.
