"Lord Reizan," Tensai said quietly, "this is where clan members usually use the time dilation chambers. But someone of your stature has access to the special chambers crafted by True God Shibai himself."
As they stepped into a shimmering space-time channel, whispers broke out among the gathered clan members.
"Hey, who's that brat trailing Supreme Guardian Tensai?" one branch family member muttered. "Is he a newborn? Or some secret descendant of the Main Family?"
A nearby Main Family member shot a glare and answered coldly, "I don't recognize him. No one like that has appeared in the Main Family for centuries. But… I heard a rumor. True God had a son just before he ascended."
The branch family member's eyes widened. "Really? Could that be him?"
Before they could say more, the Main Family figure snapped, "Enough! You're Branch Family trash—how dare you speak about such confidential matters here? That name is forbidden! Speak of it again and you'll regret it."
A tense silence fell over the room as all watched Tensai and Reizan enter the special space-time channel.
Another whispered, "Who does he think he is, walking beside Tensai like that? It's not his place."
"I know," another hissed. "Jealousy stings. But mark my words… the Main Family doesn't make room for just anyone."
Despite the quiet, envy and suspicion rippled through the crowd as the new figure vanished into the swirling portal beside the Supreme Guardian.
Soon, Reizan stood before a magnificent Golden Chamber adorned with intricate symbols and a glowing control panel. Tensai stepped beside him and gestured toward the Time Adjustment settings.
"This chamber allows you to control the flow of time inside versus outside," Tensai explained. "Currently, it's set to one year inside for every three months outside. During this time, you can master your abilities, temporarily seal your dōjutsu and bloodline limits to focus on combat, and sharpen your instincts."
He continued, "You'll also have the chance to battle Ōtsutsuki warriors stored in the time dilation system's database. Their power stages can be adjusted before each fight. Be warned: you can be killed in these simulations, but death here is meaningless — you can revive easily."
Reizan nodded, absorbing the gravity of the training ahead.
Tensai paused, then added, "Oh, my lord, I almost forgot. After two years of training, your body will be ready to receive your unique Kama Mark. When you turn twelve, you must undergo the Awakening Ceremony conducted by the clan head."
"At the ceremony, you may face other Ōtsutsuki your age. Although your birth is special, my lord, do not underestimate your peers — they will be formidable opponents."
He gave a respectful bow. "I wish you good luck, my lord. If you require anything else, do not hesitate to contact me."
With that, Tensai turned and departed, leaving Reizan alone before the glowing chamber.
Soon, Reizan stood before the time dilation chamber, its interface glowing softly. He noticed a map setting icon and browsed through various terrains. After a moment, he selected the Desert Field — a harsh, arid landscape perfect for testing endurance.
Next, he chose Normal Mode, the standard training setting favored by clan members to master their bloodline abilities.
A list of opponent types appeared. Among them, he picked a race resembling giant lizard-men — formidable creatures known for brute strength and resilience.
The system then asked him to set the difficulty progression: Stage 1 would have 10 opponents, Stage 2 would have 100, Stage 3 a thousand, and so on. He set it to progress incrementally, knowing he could pause or stop anytime if the fight became too intense or he suffered serious injuries.
"Good to know," he muttered, noting the system's automatic healing feature, which would mend his wounds whenever he paused or restarted the battles.
With his selections confirmed, a brilliant light erupted from the chamber, pulling him inside.
Moments later, Reizan opened his eyes to a barren landscape stretching endlessly. The sand beneath his feet was a vivid reddish-orange, scorched by an unforgiving sun.
"Wow," he whispered. "Not a single living thing… no plants, no bugs."
He raised a hand, voice calm but commanding. "System, show me my profile."
