Orion frowned at Sophia, his brow knitting tightly as he took in the way she limped toward him, each step deliberate but strained. Her hair clung to her face, streaked with dirt and snow, her hands still faintly stained from the chaos that had unfolded moments ago. Her eyes, however, burned with a fierceness that made his chest tighten.
"Sophia," he said, his voice low but edged with concern. "What's going on? Sit—"
She shook her head abruptly, refusing to obey. Pain laced her movements, yet she pushed forward. "I… I cannot," she said softly yet firmly. "We've wasted too much time already."
Orion's eyes narrowed, the tension in his muscles coiling as he studied her. There was something in the way she moved, in the urgency in her gaze, that set every instinct in his body on edge. "You're injured," he pressed, gesturing toward the bloodstains on her sleeves, the bruises that had begun to form along her arms and shoulders. "You should rest."
