Iceboy said, "So, to keep you up to speed. So far, Frank and I have met up with our old foe, Ren, who once had monster-creating powers." Aquaboy said, "And after we left the comic shop, Ren developed new powers which she's using to create mayhem all over the world." Sungirl said, "When we found her in Greenland, she tried to get her revenge by destroying us." Heatgirl said, "But instead, she stuck us with the whole country of Greenland to save, and then she got away." Sungirl said, "So now that Greenland is saved, we've returned home to save Aquaboy from the lightning strike he took." Iceboy said, "We're also on the hunt for Ren and are hoping we can beat her before she can destroy us."
While Heatgirl and Iceboy searched for Ren by checking where the weather was changing the most, Sungirl stayed with Aquaboy until he was cured. Once Aquaboy woke up, Sungirl put her hand on his chest, and Aquaboy saw her. Sungirl said, "Rest. Ren's gone, and I have Heatgirl and Iceboy looking for her." Aquaboy said, "Any progress?" Sungirl said, "None yet. But they'll tell us if they find anything."
Heatgirl was watching the news, hoping the news lady would tell them where Ren was. Iceboy checked the map of the world to find anything out of the ordinary. The news lady said, "Strange weather conditions continue and are now headed for Shanghai, China." Iceboy checked the weather conditions there and saw they were normal. Iceboy said, "Ren hasn't been there yet. She must be headed there next." Heatgirl said, "We've got to warn the others."
Heatgirl and Iceboy ran to their infirmary and checked on Sungirl and Aquaboy. Heatgirl said, "We've located Ren. How's Aquaboy?" Aquaboy said, "Just fine." Sungirl said, "His tests say he might be somewhat weak, but he should get stronger in a few hours. So, you'll have to go easy on your powers." Aquaboy said, "Right. Now where's Ren?" Iceboy said, "Shanghai. Possibly headed to Hong Kong."
The Justice Brigade boarded their jet and flew for a few hours to China. Once they arrived in Shanghai, they saw that everything looked normal and the people were calm, so they landed their jet, as Ren hadn't arrived yet. Then they got out of their jet, and a gusty wind blew by them. They looked ahead and saw Ren creating a strong and stiff wind in China, her body glowing blue. She then strengthened the wind she had made and turned it into a cyclone to destroy China. Sungirl then flew up to Ren and blasted her away, knocking her to the ground. Ren said, "I'm going to kill whoever did that." Ren got up, looked ahead of her, and saw The Justice Brigade. Sungirl said, "This has officially gone too far. We're stopping this right now." Ren said, "We'll see about that."
Ren lifted her arms out and made her body glow blue, making it rain over Sungir's head. Sungirl tried running for it, but the rain cloud kept following her and pouring rain on her. Sungirl said, "Aquaboy, have you learned your new power yet?" Aquaboy said, "No, but I'll try." Ren said, "Oh, no, you won't." Ren glowed yellow and caused an earthquake, blocking Heatgirl and Iceboy. Then Ren's body glowed yellow again, and she made the earth rise and trap Aquaboy in a rock cube. Ren said, "The only thing you'll try is helping me destroy your friends." Heatgirl then destroyed the cube and rescued Aquaboy. Heatgirl said, "Aquaboy, help Sungirl.
Ren, the kidnapped Aquaboy, took him to her hideout. When she left, her body glowed yellow, and the raincloud she had placed over Sungirl's head disappeared. Once they arrived at Ren's hideout, Aquaboy saw that it was a palace entirely made of ice. Ren then locked Aquaboy in the tower and left him there. While Aquaboy was there, his team wondered where Ren was keeping him. Sungirl then used her communicator to track Aquaboy. Sungirl said, "Looks like we're on our way to..." Sungirl traced Aquaboy to the Grand Canyon. Sungirl said, "The Grand Canyon?"
The Justice Brigade flew their jet to the Grand Canyon, and when they got there, they saw an ice palace they assumed was Ren's hideout. They walked up the stairs to the front door, snuck in through the front door, and took a look around. Sungirl traced Aquaboy to the next room, so they peered inside and saw Aquaboy behind a door with icicles blocking it. Aquaboy tried kicking the icicles, but he couldn't break them. Sungirl used her communicator to call Aquaboy. Aquaboy heard his communicator beeping, so he answered it and said, "Hello." Sungril said, "Aquaboy, we're in the next room, and see you trying to break the icicles. But with Ren's powers, the ice here is as strong as steel." Aquanoy said, "Now you tell me?" Ren said, "Yes, now you tell him?"
The Justice Brigade looked behind them and saw Ren. Ren then glowed white and summoned ice guards from the ground, which encircled The Justice Brigade. While she was being held, Heatgirl looked up and blasted the chandelier above her head with a Heat Beam from her finger. Then her Heat Beam cut the ice, and the chandelier fell on Ren. Ren broke free from the chandelier and flew upward. Sungitl then kicked her ice guard, Heatgirl threw hers over her shoulder, and Iceboy tripped his. Sungirl said, "Heatgirl, get Aquaboy free. Iceboy and I will handle Ren."
Sungirl and Iceboy got into fighting position, and so did Ren. Ren said, "Maybe you four should just surrender and spare yourselves an embarrassing defeat?" Sungirl dropped her backpack and said, "No thanks. We'd rather go down fighting." Ren glowed blue and made it rain over Sungirl's head. Sungirl then used her powers to make it vanish, and a rainbow appeared. Heatgirl then melted the icicles blocking Aquaboy's door and freed him. Sungirl said, "If we're going to beat Ren, we've got to beat her at her own game." Ren said, "Fat chance." Sungirl said, "We'll see about that."
Ren made it snow inside, but Aquaboy added some wind and blew all the snow back at Ren. Ren then screamed and said, "This is not my power." Sungirl then stopped it and made the sun come out, melting the ice palace. Ren tried to rebuild her ice palace, but it was collapsing. Iceboy then nailed Ren with icicles and pinned her to the wall while her palace melted. Aquaboy then created a tornado, which captured Ren. Ren said, "The elements are mine to control." The tornado then vanished, and Ren dropped to the ground. The Justie Brigade then stood ahead of Ren with their arms crossed. Ren said, "Let's see how you like some lightning." Ren pointed at The Justice Brigade, but Heatgirl grabbed her arm and lowered it. Heatgirl looked at Ren and said, "Didn't your mom ever tell you it's not polite to point?" Iceboy said, "I think my mom will understand." Iceboy then blasted Ren with her powers and froze her in solid ice. Sungirl looked at Ren and said, "Well, that takes care of Miss. Weather."
Since Ren was frozen stiff, everything she created got reversed. All the storms disappeared, and the melting places began to cool down, starting to snow again. The snow and ice at all the frozen places began to melt and return to regular, heated temperatures. Since everything was going back to the way it was, all the animals started to feel more at home and came back. The Justice Brigade then caught the news. The newswoman said, "Weather patterns all over the world are returning to normal. Whatever was responsible for this strange weather, I guess, will remain a mystery."
Once the police arrived at the Grand Canyon, Heatgirl freed Ren, and the police arrested her. They also put a collar on her neck so that if she tried to use her powers, it would shock her. The police then took Ren to jail and kept the collar on her so she couldn't use her powers to escape. Sungirl said, "Well, that takes care of that." Heatgirl said, "Ren's in jail." Iceboy said, "The weather around the world is returning to normal." Iceboy said, "And we can qualify this as another job well done." The Justice Brigade then looked at the Grand Canyon and enjoyed the view.
