‘These overwhelming things,’ she thought. Eutostea was just wearing the golden crown under Dionysus’ mischievous, strict order that he would disqualify her from being his priestess if she didn’t wear it.

“Then, I’ll go to bed now since I’m tired.”

Eutostea massaged her neck. It made a creaking sound.

“I’m going to have some more drink, so think of it as I’m not here, and get to sleep,” said Dionysus, filling his wine cup again.

Eutostea simpered, “It’s already bustling enough since Apollo is also here.”

“If that bothers you, should I straighten up?”

Dionysus beckoned at Mariad and sent a signal to pick up Apollo with its mouth and throw him away outside. Eutostea rubbed the panther’s nose bridge, which was making a low rumbling noise on her bed, and stopped the animal from doing what Dionysus told it to do.

“He’s dead to the world until dawn when he’s sleeping. Just leave him alone.”
