"You're not wearing your shoes, are you?" he asked.
"No," she replied. She was telling him that she would get the truth.
"I did something, and it was with Korra." Akashi admitted it.
Lin bit her lips.
Akashi shrugged. "Well, that was before she went to the Earth Queen's palace. I was worried that old hag would use her, so I observed her."
"Tsk." Lin crossed her arms and turned her head. "Things would have gone well without that young bitch meddling in the middle."
"Why? Was there anything else you were worried about?" Akashi asked.
Lin, who could tell that he had told the truth, replied.
"Yeah, like you doing something to the royal guards and releasing the bloodbenders or something. Or attacking the Earth Queen in her palace. I know you have a grudge against them, and you can be petty sometimes."
"No way. Hahahaha!" Akashi let out a laugh. Unconsciously, he floated a centimeter in the air, trying to get out of her lying detection and make that laugh not sound awkward.
She had no idea how right she was.
"I never released the two bloodbenders," Akashi said, settling on the ground.
He only released one.
"And I would be lying to say that I never thought about attacking her in the palace," Akashi replied, shrugging. "But anyway, why do you care so much about that?"
"Let me see. I care about you enough not to want you to fall into trouble or cause a national-level crisis." She said, approaching him and kissing him on the lips. "By the way, we never slept together before."
"What do you mean, Lin?" he asked, "Haven't we been sleeping together a lot lately?"
"I mean, like cuddling in bed and falling asleep together." She said, smiling.
Akashi rubbed his chin. "Hmm… now you said it, I think we never did."
"Wanna do it?" she asked, holding his hand.
"Sure, I may use an extra pillow." Akashi replied, "Just don't panic when you feel something poking."
She chuckled and shook her head, before walking to the bedroom. Akashi followed her, staring at her perky butt in the process.
Talking about butts, he suspected that someone's butt would suffer tonight.

And as Akashi had suspected, someone was meant to suffer tonight.
Prisoners had already suffered enough.
But to attempt escaping and cause chaos, that was an act of rebellion, and it stripped everyone of their human rights.
Well, not like anyone had human rights under the palace of Ba Sing Se.
The Earth Queen walked into the secret base of the Dai Lee.
On the sides, there were a few cells with people inside them. Some even were used as experiments for science. As she had heard recently about how strong Chi Blocking was and how useful it had been, she had allowed some human experiments for her agents to learn how to do that technique.
But she wasn't here to observe that; she was here for one certain prisoner.
In one big cell, Tarrlok sat, with no chains. After losing his bending, he no longer had any power to exert. He was no more a threat than your average Joe.
Tarrlok lifted his head and glarred at the Earth Queen, his eyes not even half-dead. They were full of life and hope, and he held a challenging glare at her.
"And you still dare to look at me like that, even after your failure and betrayal," she said.
"Never betrayed you first. You were the one who demanded me for the trial," he replied, his tone unyielding.
"I think you misunderstand your position of power here." She snapped her fingers. The Dai Lee agents beside her bent the cell, opening it for her, before sliding in the shadows, holding Tarrlok by the arms and shackling him with earth gloves.
Tarrlok glared at them for a second before shaking his head.
He had achieved his goal, and he was happy.
He and his brother had broken out of the cycle their father had put them through, and they could live a new life. Well, he couldn't. But Noatak could live a new life with a real purpose. As for Tarrlok, it was the end of the journey, and he was happy with that, even though that end may be painful.
"And?" Tarrlok said. "I'm but a dead man, am I not?"
"Well, I have a trial to hold, and you have some questions to answer," she said, her tone authoritative.
"And, so?" he asked.
"I've come to read that forbidden book talking about me pegging you," she said, "But then, I had gotten that note, saying that it was you and your brother authorizing that, and that you used Akashi to take the blame, so that you could kill my men and get my support.
"But Akashi is getting a little bit arrogant, and I don't see him as someone being guided by you." She lifted her head and glared at Tarrlok. "So, I'm going to get the truth. Who the motherfucker wrote about me being a whore cocks lover."
"What?" Tarrlok opened his eyes widely, before feigning a chuckle.
If the Earth Queen had gotten that book, it meant that Akashi had wanted her to get that book.
Because the moment Tarrlok had received that book, he had burned it. So, the only way to have another copy was by author allowing it.
"And what's so funny?" she asked.
"That scene." He replied.
He knew that Akashi added some details to that book now. And in that version, the queen was a whore. It seemed it had gotten under her nerve.
"Anyways, do what you want. I don't fear death." Tarrlok replied, firmly.
"Who wrote it?" she asked, again.
"I won't answer." Tarrlok replied.
"Very well. Let's try torture for interrogation." She replied. "You won't die, physically. But mentally, you'll die."
As she flicked her finger, someone entered the room with a mini tent that was around 30cm long with a belt hanging.
The queen took the object and removed the towel, revealing a metal male organ.
She slowly wrapped it around her waist.
Tarrlok watched in horror.
"Wait! Wait! I'm going to tell you! It's that Akashi motherfucker all along!"
She smirked. "I don't believe you, yet."
Tarrlok closed his eyes. He could never live with himself if that ever happened.
And luckily, after facing Akashi, he had developed the habit of holding his shit for days.
The Dai Lee agents positioned Tarrlok on his stomach and took his pants down, revealing a dirty ass.
The foul smell filled the prison.
"It's Akashi! I swear!" Tarrlok closed his eyes.
"I believe you, but that won't change a thing. I like it when a man resists!" The Earth Queen smirked, pinching her nose "Dai Lee agents, clean his ass. After the trial, I'm going to peg him to death. And I hope your brother shows up, Korra takes him down, and both of you get pegged to death. Hahahaha! And that Akashi would die while Korra is fighting your brother. Hahahaha!"
She said, turning, and leaving the dirty prison.
'Fuck it, I can't even kill myself.'
Tarrlok clicked his tongue, as he had bought his dignity some time.
'Hurry up, fuckers, and save me.' he thought.
