Akashi was currently touring in Ba Sing Se, buying souvenirs, since he could afford them. He got himself a new set of clothes, a hand watch, and some jewels. He also got Korra new clothes.
It's not that he was the type of person to get a girl and spend money on her. But he would definitely pay money to see Korra out of her blue choice of colors and see her dress in different attires like Asami was. So, he got her a few dresses, a few pairs of pants, and new tops. He also got her some new hairpins.
For the first time ever, Akashi understood the people who spend a considerable amount of wealth to dress up their characters in games.
And soon, Lin joined them. She acted a bit jealous, making Akashi feel forced to dress her up.
'Muscle mommies in dresses… Not a bad idea,' Akashi thought as he walked to his new rented villa, looking forward as Lin and Korra entered before him, glaring at each other occasionally.
He sighed deeply, looking at their butts. It made him, for a second, forget that he had a plan by coming here in the first place. But humans were humans. Even during wars, they breed.
As they entered first, Akashi sighed deeply and counted the money he had spent.
Korra had a point that he still lived with a working-class mentality despite making a wealth. All of the expenses he had spent so far didn't exceed what he was making in a day by managing two businesses. He wondered how much he would progress when his fast-food and alcohol brewing businesses started. Even then, he still had a lot saved in his bank accounts.
'Thinking about plans. I wonder if Amon found out about the trick I had done when I touched their electrical devices,' Akashi thought. 'The Earth Queen may have bought my BS attempt to make her enemies with the bloodbenders. But with me here to deliver them to her, she'd not stand aside and not suspect anything. And she may think that they had let themselves be deliberately handed to her. At worst, she'd get a sever headache from considering all of the possiblities.'
'But there would be something that she'd never expect. And it's my power level.'
Akashi entered the house. Lin and Korra had already settled in, having a seat opposite each other.
Lin turned her head to Akashi.
"What took you so long to get in?" she demanded, her tone urgent.
"I was just thinking about fun activities to do with each other, the three of us, to get on better terms," Akashi said, acting as the glue in their relationship.
"There is nothing you can do!" Lin said.
"Agree," Korra crossed her arms and nodded.
The two glared at each other for a second before staring in other directions.
Akashi sighed, "How about going to the hot springs later? Heard that they relax the mind and the body."
"And you expect them to let the three of us in?" Lin asked, her tone mocking.
"They may. If you say you're his mom, and I'm his daughter-in-law," Korra commented.
Lin's eyelids shook for a second.
Akashi rolled his eyes. "That's a good way to trick them. Smart of you, Korra."
The Avatar smiled at being praised.
"I see that we are all tensed from flying for days. So, why don't we relax and drink to our heart's content?" he said.
"I'm going to change."
"Me too."
The two girls stood up and left Akashi alone in the room, making him doubt that he had said something wrong.
"It's hard to be a man in this world," Akashi muttered as he walked to the sofa and turned the radio on.
But before he could relax, a knock sounded. In no time, Akashi appeared in front of the door.
He opened it, revealing an old face that belonged to one of the envoys he had seen earlier.
"What do you want?" asked Akashi, annoyance displaying on his face.
"I'm here by a decree of her majesty. You should kneel to receive it," he said.
"No. Tell me what she had to say," asked Akashi.
"You dare, a lowly citizen like yourself. Even if you are not from this kingdom, you shouldn't forget that you are a peasant," said the royal envoy, clearly annoyed with Akashi's response.
"Get me arrested if you don't like it," Akashi patted him on the shoulder and smiled, "In case you don't know, the Avatar is my girlfriend. I only kneel to her."
To eat her, that's for sure.
"Tsk. Anyways, it's not meant for you. It's for the Avatar," the envoy said, grabbing a paper from his pocket. "Call her to come in."
"Korra! We have some annoying old envoy from the Earth Queen asking for you," Akashi said.
"I'm coming," Korra said, walking to him.
She was currently dressed in a red dress, and she appeared to be way taller than before, wearing high heels and an alluring dress.
Akashi licked his bottom lip.
He was about to fuck a whole nation and the Avatar.
The envoy faked a few coughs.
"Avatar Korra. The Earth Queen is inviting you for the purpose of doing your Avatar duties and helping to solve her kingdom's crisis," the envoy said.
Korra paused for a second before saying, "And what crisis might that be?"
She looked excited. Ever since she had been a child, she had been told about her Avatar's fate and how amazing she was for her powers to help the world. But this was the first time she was useful. But something clicked in her mind. Yet, she didn't show it.
"I don't know. You should come to the palace this evening. The queen released her schedule, just because you are here," the envoy said, before turning and walking away.
As Akashi closed the door, Korra appeared in front of him.
Akashi looked at her face and smiled, "Look at you, you've grown up." She was almost as tall as him with the heels. Her boobs were nearby his chest, and he felt like smashing her.
Though there was that matter with the envoy, he had expected it to happen.
"Akashi. You've predicted that she would summon me, and you told me not to trust her," Korra said. "What should I do?"
Akashi placed both hands on her shoulders.
Honestly, he was surprised that she remembered his words, and she hadn't jumped to do her Avatar duties.
"I can't tell you what to do. But I can advise you. Shut up, listen, and try to understand what's the real meaning behind her words. If she lies, ask yourself why she lies. If she twists the truth, ask yourself why. And if you find yourself confused, ask yourself, what she wants me to do. And if I did it, what she gets from it," he said.
Korra may be a naive and trusting girl. But she had been with him in the police station, and she had seen him how he used to pick up the cases through the smallest possible clues, and she would have learned something from him. And that would help her to discern the true intent of the Earth Queen.
Anyways, if there was something granted, it would be that Korra would not be swayed easily by that old woman. Though, that old woman could outsmart Korra.
Korra tilted her head back and lifted an eyebrow.
"Now, you are talking like an airbender ancestor," she said, joking with him.
Akashi smiled and flickered her nose. "Now, I hate the Earth Queen even more."
"Why?" Korra asked curiously.
"Because she's stealing my precious time with you," Akashi said, grabbing Korra from the waist, making her flush.
"Akashi," she giggled, then got silent and locked her face on his.
The two of them got into kissing in no time.
'That old woman will pay for being a cock block,' Akashi thought to himself as he finished.
"I'll be back in no time," Korra said, "And we would enjoy a night of our own."
"Don't forget to change," Akashi said.
"Huh, why?" she asked.
He looked at her dress. It made her look more alluring.
"I get jealous if someone saw you like this," he said.
"Really?" she asked.
"I'm serious," he said.
"Alright. You deserve this privilege," she said. Not in her life many dared to say that to her. Well, no one bought her a dress, and the weather was very cold in the South Pole, so she got used to more practical clothes. Not to mention, she had spent most of her time training.
Korra changed her clothes, back to her blue attire, and left the rented house to the palace in Ba Sing Se.
Akashi watched as she left.
The goofy smile on his face got got replaced by a serious expression.
"She's going to use Korra to ensure that the bloodbenders wouldn't escape," Akashi muttered to himself.
"And who wouldn't escape," Lin's voice echoed.
"I'm just picking up on clues," Akashi replied.
Lin appeared behind him, dressed in a simple sweater, hugging him from behind and grabbing him closer to her.
Akashi smiled.
"If you wanted to play detective, you shouldn't have left the police force," she said.
"I never left. I just got demoted to a consultant," he replied, turning to her as she hugged him.
"No cheesy romance with me?" she asked.
Akashi smiled, "You and I speak a different language."
"Hell yes we do," Lin replied, grabbing him from the crotch.
He smirked.
Tonight, he was going to free up the bloodbenders and make them join the rebellion against the Earth Queen.
