Chapter 22 - Chapter 22

Tarrlok pointed his hand at Akashi, using all his willpower to hold in his own poop while bloodbending the latter.

Akashi floated in the air with a smug smile on his face.

It wasn't long before Tarrlok fell to his knees, but not before slamming Akashi into a nearby bookshelf.

Akashi stood up from the books.

"This pain is nothing compared to the pain you're feeling right now," he mocked.

"How dare you," Tarrlok said, looking at him with full hatred.

"You know, I can let you use the toilet," Akashi said. "And then, I'll kill you."

"As if I can trust you," Tarrlok replied, a fart escaping his butt hole.

That was so embarrassing.

"Hmm…" Akashi waved his hand, forcing the wind to open the windows. "You're right."

He then spun in the air, sending a few sharp, compressed air winds in his direction.

Blood splattered on the wall; deep wounds appeared on both Tarrlok's body and pride.

This was the most humiliating moment he had suffered in his life.

Tarrlok wanted to cry.

But the only thing he had left was to hold onto his pride.

"I give up," Tarrlok said. "Let me take a poop, at least."

Akashi walked by the wounded bloodbender. He patted him on the back, then slammed his hand down, forcing the air in Tarrlok's body to move.

What kind of air exists inside a human body, you ask?

You see, when the bacteria in a human's system is agitated, it produces gas. The reasons vary—from undigested protein to poor diet to having some medicine inside.

For an airbender who had recently leveled up to level 8 and used one point to upgrade his bending to level 9, bending the gas inside felt way easier than before.

Tarrlok felt air forcefully exiting his asshole, causing a massive fart to echo.

And with that airbender, following waterbending, unwillingly.

Akashi jumped backward and pushed the air in front of him, gaining momentum to get away from the fart.

He quickly reached under the shelf, grabbing a gas mask.

"That was close," he said under his mask.

Akashi then began his attack.

He pointed his hands at Tarrlok, bending the gas and concentrating it around him.

Tarrlok opened his eyes wide.

Tears streamed down—not because he wanted to cry, but because the smell forced him to. He coughed repeatedly.

Very soon, he exploded from below, falling unconscious.

[Ding. Defeated bloodbender.]

[You leveled up to level 15]

'Seven levels in a row,' he thought to himself. 'Could I beat him again?' Akashi shook his head as he looked at Tarrlok.

Seeing the shitty scene in front of him, Akashi felt the urge to throw up.

Not wanting to end up on the team that arrested Tarrlok, Akashi jumped out the window, crawling.

He reached into his pocket, grabbed the walkie-talkie, and uttered these words:

"The target has been defeated. A detective is down as well. Help me!"

He put down the gas mask and continued crawling.

There's no way he'd be inside with Tarrlok, who was still unconscious and shitting.

Whoever had to pick him up would have to do it themselves.

The officers and metalbenders came nearby.

Everyone pinched their noses, no exceptions.

Akashi lifted his head and forced a pitiful smile. "We're going to need a shower after this operation."

Someone looked inside and commented,

"I expected to fight a bloodbender. Not a shit-bender."

"No shit."

"That's a shitty situation, you know?"

"Guys, can you stop talking about shit? I'm going to throw up."

"Who's gonna pick him up?"

"I'm a woman. Do it yourself."

"Weren't you the one who said we're equal? If you pick him up, you'd prove you're better than us."

"Do you think I'm stupid?"

Akashi continued crawling out, thankful for the fresh air.

'Man. I would have killed Tarrlok. But I can't with all these officers around,' he thought, clicking his tongue.

If Tarrlok ever lived or managed to escape, he'd target Akashi.

Had Akashi been in his place, he would have done the worst he could.

'Dealing with him should be easier in the future, with just training. I'd suggest surgery to take away his bending… but I think they'll think of something. If he escapes, I better be prepared for him. For now, I think he'll face serious charges.

'The punishment would be death row, obviously.'

'However, there's one thing missing.'

'Tarrlok has a lot of connections to the underworld. And by that, I don't mean the triads—I mean the judges, the directors, the politicians. If anyone has dirt, Tarrlok knows it.'

'If he faces death row, he'd snitch. So, the only options for these guys are either to kill him or postpone his death and let him escape. Or else, make it seems that he didn't kill anyone.'

'It'll take time anyway… by that time, I have two options: get stronger, or train that Korra… a blue-eyed brunette with an athletic physique. Reminds me of the chief's build.'

Akashi, who had been holding his stomach and looking at the sky, felt a few kicks on his side.

It hurt quite a bit.

A large-breasted metal armor blocked his view of who it was.

But he could tell.

"Why didn't you call for backup when you were inside?" said the police chief.

"Would you believe me if I said I was so overwhelmed that I had no choice but to fight my best? I got bloodbent so much I forgot," he replied.

"Or you got so reckless, so cocky, and so confident in your plan that you believed you could take him on your own," she said.

"Won't deny the charges."

"I'm not charging you." She gave him another slight kick.

"Ouch. I just survived a battle."

"You're not that tired. You poisoned the man. The officer girl told me about you giving him medicine," she said.

Akashi chuckled but wiped the smile off his face and said, "I'm seriously hurt. And I didn't poison him, I gave him a medicine to relieve his constipation."

"You're just avoiding the shit," she smirked and shook her head, clearly satisfied with the outcome.

"Fine." Akashi stood up and sighed. "Spare me that."

She kept looking into his eyes.

He decided to tease her. Well, not really—to test the waters, since he thought she was flirting with him.

"Well, did I prove I'm bigger than you think?" Akashi smirked.

She crossed her arms.

"Not yet," she replied, lowering her eyes and briefly looking at his bulge.

'Okay. If we can't tell we're both flirting, we should stop being cops.'

Akashi put his hand on her shoulder and smiled. "So, when?"

"When others aren't watching." She looked directly into his eyes and held him by the crotch, squeezing a bit, making him wince slightly in pain while feeling slightly aroused at the same time. She walked past him and said, "Deliver the report to my office later."

'Ain't shitting with that,' he thought, but said nothing.

Tarrlok was already taken by the police to their airship.

As for Akashi, as he walked back to the residence, he found Amane waiting for him with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Oh, we're just waiting for the cleaning process. After that, we're going to find the emergency funds. You know." She shrugged. "So no dirty cop takes them."
