Chapter 37 - Chapter 36 Grimmauld Palace.

Auden looked closely at the street in front of him. He made sure it was the right place. He looked around and found out there is no one looking at him right now. That means his muggle repelling charm is working without any problems. He looked at the place between the two houses knowing that the place he wants to infiltrate lies in between them hidden by a spell that requires a spell from one of its owners.

Grimmauld place, the ancestral home of the blacks, currently empty of any human life and consisting of only an old elf, a racist painting and a soul waiting for its purge.

"What are you waiting for, use the spell I taught you child" a voice came from his side making Auden use a spell that revealed to him the gateway to the Grimmauld palace.

"These new generation wizards, they have not improved at all since the olden days. Their works in making the spells simpler for wizards to have systematic and easier time studying the basics of spells is commendable, but the fact that they never improve after that is disappointing" the woman regarded as the smartest witch of this world to this day commented with frustration.

That's right, the moment Auden came back, the first thing he did was to bring forth Rowena Ravenclaw from inside the Diadem. The first thing she did after being told about everything was request Auden for the knowledge of spells in the current era. Auden then used the system to recite everything he had found in a way that earned her respect immediately. Rowena now believes that Auden has the ability to retain anything he had ever read but still needed guidance when he wants to use spells. So, she decided to teach him through her own methods while analysing the modern developments of spells and magical manipulation.

And right now, she was teaching him to infiltrate into ancestral wizard houses.

"Your intuition was right child. The deadly hallows contain more secrets and powers than even those three Peverell brothers knew of and most of the subsequent users never bothered to check their limits as well.

The cloak covers you completely from any sort of analytical spells. But that is its basic use. It contains many abilities and one of which is the ability to ignore any sort of wards or barriers that are not specifically made to counter it. And to make one specifically, one must have thoroughly researched it, which I guess most people has never done even after all this time" Rowena commented as she followed Auden who was now sneaking into the property lines with the help of the invisibility cloak.

As soon as he got into the property line, he threw a rock on the door from the outside and then immediately moved to the side of the door.

"You wretched animals, how dare you do it again."

Immediately Kreacher came out of the house and started ranting and cursing the squirrels and magical creatures for throwing items at the house. Auden was only thinking of misleading the elf for a few moments and had not expected it to work so well. So, he didn't miss his chance and immediately entered into the home.

He then slowly pulled his wand and cast a spell to find Regulus's room. As he cast the spell, an arrow appeared in front of him and began moving towards the stairs onto the first floor of the building. To make sure that Kreacher does not detect the spell, he immediately began flowing it.

He got into the room and tool out the wand again.

'Accio Locket'

The moment he did, a familiar shaped locket with an S flew right towards him. He then held it up for Rowena.

"Yes, I had seen the locket before, and I can guarantee that the one in your hand is the same. We can leave now" Rowena scrutinised the locket for a second and came up with her appraisal.

Nodding at that, Auden then began moving throughout the house while using his ears to make sure that the elf was not anywhere nearby. He had created a copy of the locket and had replaced from where he had found it, but he was sure that Kreacher would find it surprising that the locket was easily breakable right now. So, he has to exit the house after accomplishing everything he can before warning the house elf about anything.

He knew he won't stand any chance against the house elf with the few sets of magic he knew. Their innate teleportation will allow him to escape any traps done beforehand.

"Here it is" Auden muttered as he reached the room he wanted to find the most.

The Black Family Library. He immediately moved towards the bookshelves while checking out the books one by one.

"So, you are telling me, you were born with skill that allows you to record a book as long as you are near to it" Rowena asked as she moved with him through the library.

"Yeah, I thought before that there might be limitations based on how some books are sealed with magic, but seeing how I am able to record these books without any problem, I don't think there is any weakness like that "Auden said as he looked at a few books with apprehension.

Some of them looked like they were made of human flesh. Some had glowing symbols moving throughout its body. Some had eyes that followed him wherever he moved. He checked his system and found out that it had categorised the knowledge of the books without taking in all the curses that is supposed to affect those who read without the owner's permission.

Within half an hour, he managed to extract the centuries old knowledge present within the Black family library without facing any of the consequence that comes with it.

"Alright, infiltrations over and luckily, this room also has our escape route. So, we won't have to risk ourselves to move through the living room" Auden said as he turned towards the fireplace in the library. He took the floo powder he had carried with himself and lit a fire in the fireplace.

"Diagon alley" he said as he threw the powder. As he vanished in the flames, the spell he had constructed before getting in extinguished the fire completely, leaving no evidence that he was ever there.

A/N- hope you like it.
