I must have dozed off. When I woke up, I was still strapped in by the seatbelt and could not move much.
Yawning, I rubbed my eyes and looked around. The car was parked, and the door on Enzo's side was open, but he was not in the driver's seat anymore.
I turned off the engine and stepped out of the car.
The moment I got out, I was greeted by a wide grassy field with colourful flowers everywhere. In the middle, there were swings and slides, an entire play area. Butterflies flew past me. Trees swayed gently in the breeze. The air was cool and fresh against my face. I closed my eyes for a moment just to take it all in.
"You are finally awake, sleeping beauty!"
I opened my eyes and turned to the voice. A kid. Then another. My eyes nearly turned into hearts when I saw a group of children running toward me.
Where was I? And more importantly, where was Enzo?
"They are so cute," I said, grinning as I stepped forward to meet them.
