Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 A Change in Writing

Chapter 3: A Change in Writing.

His body was pulled without being able to resit, completely vanishing into his phone as if swallowed by a vortex.

And that wraps up how Kim Hyun Jee was Transmigrated as Lucian Von Nix, a useless, expendable character who's fate was to be killed in the first chapter of the story due to the displeasure of the First prince. The moment the first prince found out that the girl he loved had eyes for Lucian Von Nix despite his pestering over the years. The First prince of Ishtar concocted a plan and tasked his subordinates to frame Lucian. In the end his plan worked wonderfully except... It wasn't Lucian who was going to get killed but Kim Hyun Jee.

" Let me out of here you bastards!!!!"

" Myeong! You can't do this to me!"

" Myeong!!!!" Kim Hyun Jee screamed continuously from within the wooden carriage.

A few hours later.

Kim Hyun Jee wasn't screaming anymore, after so long he realized that no one would save him nor did they want to, instead he sat within a corner of the carriage which looked more like a wooden prison to be honest.

" This can't be happening to me." Kim Hyun Jee grabbed at his hair, eye's constricted while he gnashed his teeth in furry.

' After escaping that shitty military service all I wanted was a few months of peace yet now I'm going to die?!'

' Of all the characters in her shitty book, why'd it have to be the love struck idiot who gets killed off at the opening?!!'

" Arrrgh!!" Out of frustration, Kim Hyun Jee slammed his clenched fist on the carriages floor.

" Hey you! Keep it down in there! You'll soon be out in a few moments, then you can make as much noise as you want you damned heretic! Till then keep quiet you here!" He heard the coachman's angry voice from outside.

' Bastard!' Kim Hyun Jee recalled that in the original story, After being framed, Lucian Von Nix lost all his will to live, not even trying to resist when the old man finally killed him. Just thinking about it irritated Kim Hyun Jee to no end!

So what if you lost your family, your future and the girl you loved, was that really a reason to end your life like that?

Writing a character like Lucian was one of the main things that made Kim Hyun Jee hate his girlfriends novel the most.

' Am I really going to get killed by this piece of crap.' Kim Hyun Jee began gnashing his teeth up and down.

' ....?!' His eyes suddenly caught the sight of something. He glanced at the location his fist had smashed on earlier and saw that the wood around that area had a small gab in it.

Kim Hyun Jee smiled with joy before reaching into the gap and grabbing at it. To his surprise it wasn't too hard and even made creaking noises.

' Is this what true luck feels like?' Kim Hyun Jee squatted over the loose floor board and started trying to pry it open.

In no time he pried it off. ' Good! Now the other's.' he hurried and grabbed at another one. Like that, while making sure not to alert the coachman, he pulled out just about enough of the floor board to make an opening big enough for him to jump through.

Kim Hyun Jee stared at the earth that was speeding past below with a fearful gaze. ' Tsk! It's gonna hurt but I rather do this than let these fools snuff me out.' he gritted his teeth and jumped.

His body tumbled and rolled, the pain making his grit his teeth, scratches and bruises emerging on his body.

After rolling some distance, Kim Hyun Jee forcefully stood up. " Hahaha! I made it!". He screamed with joy.

" Damnit! You bastard! How'd you get out!"

" Crap! I celebrated too soon." Kim Hyun Jee cursed beneath his breath. When the carriage stopped in the distance and the coachman got off to chase him.

' Hmph! He's just a single old man, I'm sure I can take, him?' Kim Hyun Jee's words stuck in his throat the next moment.

" Cresta Kunt!" The old man performed a quick chant and a fireball emerged in his hand before he fired it at Kim Hyun Jee.

Kim Hyun Jee hurriedly dodged to the ground, narrowly missing the fireball that exploded behind him.

' I completely forgot! This worlds got magic, damnit!' Kim Hyun Jee regretted being sent to this world even more. Not daring to let the old man catch up. He quickly got up and made a sprint for it towards the forest.

" You heretic! You dare to run?!" The old man became livid and chased after Kim Hyun Jee.

" Huff! Huff! Huff!" Kim Hyun Jee kept panting as he ran, fortunately for him, the old man wasn't any better.

' Curse this old bag of bones! This brats getting away.' The old man's stamina couldn't compare to Kim Hyun Jee's, in no time he began slowing down.

In an act of desperation, he fired a few more fire balls at him but Kim Hyun Jee who's life was on the line seemed to have become possessed by an agile monkey, evading each attack with his nimble movements.

With additional strain from using his mana to maintain his spells and his stamina depleting from running, the old man soon reached his limits, coming to stop.

" You wretched brat! Don't think that you'll live long! I might not have killed you but this is the Celia forest! You'll soon die either wa–" the old man kept stomping his withered foot in anger but on his third stomp, the ground beneath his feet gave way.

" Arrrgh!!" His wretched scream echoed out when he fell into a hole filled with sharpened wooden spikes.

"...?" Kim Hyun Jee who was running, suddenly came to a stop beside a tree.

' Wasn't that the old bastard's voice just about now? ' He frowned while panting.

' Ha! Look who's lucks finally run out, the old fool must've encountered something lethal to have screamed like that.'
