Julian's POV
My grandmother's words hit me like a physical blow. I stared at her, trying to process what she'd just said.
"What confession?" I demanded, still supporting Natalie's trembling form.
Grandmother stepped closer, her amber eyes—so like my own—burning with a fury I'd rarely seen directed at me.
"The one where this snake admitted to redirecting Violet's kidney to Isabelle," she said, pointing a finger at Natalie. "The one where she laughed about how easy it was to manipulate you while your daughter died."
"That's not true," I insisted, but doubt crept into my voice. "Natalie would never—"
"I heard it myself," Grandmother cut me off sharply. "Every word recorded on this." She pulled out a small device from her pocket. "And that's not all I discovered today."
She moved past us toward the basement stairs. "Follow me. Now."
Her tone left no room for argument. Even as Alpha King, I'd never defied my grandmother, the formidable former Luna of our pack.
