"Princess Linda… why?" he asked sharply. "Why did you bring humans into our sacred land?"
Dozens of bows immediately rose again, pointing straight at Nolan, Damian, Celia,
Linda, and Lyra.
Nolan turned slowly toward Linda, his cloak shifting with the motion.
His eyes softened despite the tension around them.
"Linda… first of all, I didn't know you were a princess."
The camera angle cuts to Linda—her fingers trembling slightly.
Her ears droop. Her gaze falls to the ground.
"Master…" her voice cracks faintly, "I… I never told you. I tried, but… I was scared."
A warm tone rises in the background as Nolan gently sighs.
"It's alright," he says. "I'm not angry."
But the moment of softness is shattered by a sudden wave of killing intent.
